#10. What's an au you have for them?

Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).

In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...

i know i've described it in GOOMT before, but James has a voice that's kept, at the most, neutrally monotone; his pitch is quite average, tho because of his Sad Wet Boye Mumbling™️, he tends to sound a little deeper. James doesn't have an accent, tho i guess, his voice kind of comes across as a cold, but gentle wind - not exactly a breeze, but a wind - if a wind could have a voice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i dunno. if that makes any sense, LOL

while Harry, on the other hand (my most darling and ridiculous and ridiculously stupid Harry <3), ab-solute-ly DOES have that deep, paternal voice, which one should definitely expect to pair ever-so-nicely with that lively and rich, booming laugh that he has :) that man doesn't quiiiiite speak in a full baritone, but his laugh certainly rings out in one; and as for an accent, well.. yeah :)c yeah, he does. ;)c! it's slight!! -- because, for whatever reason, there was a time where he tried to get rid of it!! (.. the poor bastard :( but, honestly; Harry, my dude..) -- but it's there.

now what region that accent is from, or what STATE that accent originates from..... well. it's a mystery :) isn't it ;))?? You're reading correctly whatever happens between Vivi and the Scions, pretty much everyone except Alisaie treats this as a coworkers thing, their personal feelings towards Vivi range from awkwardness to disappointment, and Vivi sees them in the strange middle between civilians (liabilities, needy, use him) and heroes, but not of the same caliber as Vivi, they still Don't Get Him. This isn't main focus right now as we're still fairly early in the story, just hint and move on. I'm leaving the canon scion&scion relationships as they are (including shipping Thancred and Urianger, it's canon, fight me, but I digress).

I'll take this as an opportunity to remind everyone that pixies are dead children's souls that stick around for some reason, and live this eternal fun-seeking life because that's the core instinct of a child. Il Mheg's much more eerie than it looks on the surface, and I love it for that. I'm including this remark on Feo Ul to emphasize that Vivi feels more aligned with the supernatural than humans at this point.

"Aren't you just like me?" comes from episode 21! This episode's a sort of a recap as Exarch pieces together everything that happened so far.

And episode 12! Urianger's a big brain who drops very few words because it's kinda not his business, but he indeed sees Vivi for who he is, and nudges Exarch towards the better train of thought.

This may look silly, it's just a physical thing he does as he tries to reconcile with the new knowledge. "Are we really the same? EQUALS? Me and HIM? ...... Nah, no way". The great revelation may have happened, still it won't instantly change what makes him him.

I designed this Yuma Month Thank You art based on all the prompts and elements everyone showed in their pieces. Sadly I couldn’t include all of the prompts due to the image being overly cluttered but I did squeeze in most of them.

The NDA and Makoto plushies stand out a bit because I noticed they were featured a lot in some prompts throughout Yuma Month so they get their own little spotlight as well :3c

And I thought Yuma doing a little bow is a nice way to end Yuma Month~ the design was also based on my Makoto Month prompt too XD I thought it would be a nice contrast to my last entry for Makoto month and the thought of Yuma bowing and thanking everyone is a nice way to end the event in my opinion :3c

So, over the time I've come back here, I've become pretty confident and proud of my once hidden passion about sick characters, sickfics and sick comfort/whump... 🌡️

And you all have been so supportive and sweet despite my weirdness so I thank you for that. You helped me feel more confident in my otherwise weird fixation <3 So, for my birthday I thought I'd try and make up a little drawing challenge for anyone who wants to give it a try... There are soo many talented artists on this site (and in this fandom)

So... It's your turn to target your faves now. You will see how fun it is and hopefully understand why I love doing it so much. 😈🌡️

So here's the challenge and the rules!! (featuring my two main lil targets ofc :3)

Regardless of who it is, put your fave through some sickness hell >:3c I'd love to see it! Make em' as miserable as you want!

If you're in the RainCode community you can target anyone, but as you know, my main targets are Yuma and Makoto. If they're also your faves and who you decide to use, that will make me extra happy!

Some tips for anyone new to drawing a sick day scenario art. A few things that make it look convincing are the following:

Pajamas or Loungewear

Messy Bed Hair

Fever flushed face w sweat or at least a red nose

Tired Eye bags

Shivery body

Ice Pack or a Compress on the head

Thermometer sticking from their mouth

LOTS OF BLANKETS

Tissues or medicine surrounding them

Tea or Soup (or both)

Those are just to name some from the top of my head. If you'd like some pointers on how to make a character look ill, check out my Fever Coloring Guide. This is for digital artists but traditional artists can try it too!

You can add injury or angst to the scene but I'd like illness to be the main focus of it.

The scene can be anything you want to, it can be fluffy and wholesome (with a caretaker) it can be angsty, or it can be silly. Its all up to you! Do it for the sake of fluff! Caretaking scenes are the best for any kind of relationship >w<

Either way, have fun with it!! I look forward to see what people make if they decide to give it a try! It doesn't even have to be a full on picture! Doodles and sketches are fine too! Just show me something >w<

But what you might not know is that I, Admin Buck, share this same anniversary with them!!! >:3 we were actually on the same call together when she discovered the game!

Before we get into some personal messages below, let’s talk about the art! We collabed on recreating two drawings we each made that faithful day ❤️ individual credits will be in this post’s tags!
