blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) moon was designed in a lab to appeal to me personally, so. it's about the trust issues!

scrunkly (my "baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) the sky copper clutch!! traumatized children imprinting on a guy with baby fever is usually what i go to fanfic for so to have it right there in canon? incredible. i love all of frost's little tantrums and idk, just the way that she claims moon as her family in a way that has nothing to do with court politics? she's like, we're your clutch, obviously. and this is our court because it's your court, and all the other jabronis who live here are on thin ice. she's ready to throw down with moon's wife/the government at all hours of the day and she's like six years old. i love that moon has that energy in his life even though he personally is pretty confused and exhausted by it lol.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) it's hard out here for an ember stan because he is in so few scenes relative to the space he occupies in my psyche! i need 5000% more interactions between him and moon. him and stone. him and shade. him and river. him and the teachers. him and the clutches. him and jade and balm and chime. oh my god him and malachite? him and celadon? him and delin??

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) niran. i'm always up for a "longsuffering ship captain resigns himself to another restless night of hearing gigantic shapeshifters with incredible stamina fuck nasty on the roof of his cabin" moment. technically i have never been in that exact situation, but i feel like i can relate.

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) river who is CLASSIC poor little meow meow territory like yes his whole personality is being a grade A asshole and sure he tries to kill my blorbo a few times, but once you get to know him he's so sad and pathetic that i'm kind of like okay where can i sign up to defend him from the largely factual aspersions of his dozens of quite frankly justified haters? he'd hate that. the good shit 👌

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) stone. every time he crankily says "why did i ever reproduce" upon finding himself entangled in yet another ridiculous clusterfuck thanks to one of his hundreds of idiot great-great-great-great-great grandchildren, an angel gets its wings. he's depressed and antisocial but he can't totally check out because he has to mediate relationship issues between his dumbass relatives. love that for him.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) malachite but specifically because malachite would not be scared of superhell. she'd skulk around being invisible, maybe fuck some shit up if she felt like it, and leave when she got bored. she probably makes it like. opal night's sister city or something. and nobody in the court is at all phased. yeah that's our reigning queen who recently got back from vacation in superhell. she does that. she says it's relaxing.

the way the most recent pokemon games don't let you turn off the exp share or the affection mechanic bonuses is nothing short of maddening. i think they make great accessibility features If Only They Were Optional and the flavour text is cute, but i want to have a fun casual playthrough that's at least mildly challenging without having to make it a nuzlocke or something. i don't want to feed my starter bitter medicines to make her hate me :(

PLEASE....#i can't do nuzlockes i do Not have the willpower to stick to the rules and they stress me out haha #anyway i am a fool who's left all of my DS games in norway and i got a hankering for replaying sinnoh games #so i decided to get shining pearl right. figured it might be fun even if ill miss the 4th gren spritework something fierce #what ensued was a needlessly complicated process just to get a copy that was slightly cheaper than full price nintendo blood money #there's a store that listed shining pearl at a lower price. not brilliant diamond - just pearl #i feel like maybe it's by mistake since that's the price of a nintendo DS cartridge. so maybe wires got crossed #the norwegian version of the store does NOT have the price disparity.#anyway i can't order online without a swedish phone number. and the local store is out of stock #so i have several long walks to the store to get them to order it in for me and then to order it delivered to me etc #and then of course another long walk to pick up the mail BUT I HAVE IT NOW. I HAVE VIDEO GAME #and it's very nice and nostalgic with a couple quality of life upgrades #my first pokemon game was pokemon diamond. when i got it i was still learning english and had no idea what was happening at any time #good times good times #obviously no pokemon run is ever gonna be as challenging as my first ever run #it does not need to be! u can immediately tell that a lot of difficulty in earlier games is that leveling up your team was a hassle #and almost always required grinding. i do not miss that at all ! but the remakes seem to be Extremely Faithful #so they're not rly structured around how fast you can level your whole team #or that your pokemon are gonna start doing extra crits or hold on to last HP before u even get to the third gym #OH WELL #you know what's very exciting for me though. i have a misdreavous!!! they're pearl exclusive and not in platinum #ive always wanted to do a sinnoh run with a misdreavous on my team for some reason

Dragons dogma 2 is fun

sry but dc publishing a jason/kyle teamup is really my worst nightmare lol. like jaykyle is fun and all, and i’m glad y’all are having a good time, but if dc ends up watering down & nerfing kyle to the point where it’s feasible he’d start running around with jason in the main timeline and the weakass woobified version of kyle twitter/tumblr has invented to pair them together leaks into actual canon, i’m quitting my job to become a full time batfam hatepage

Can't go into detail because its hush hush not-legally-mentionable stuff but today is my fifth 12 hour no-break work day. I'm also packing to move too in a fortnight (which is a Big Yahoo!! Yippee!! I'll finally have access to a kitchen!! And no more mold others keep growing!!! So exciting!!!)

Wait before I sleep, lemme tell yall bout the personal grudge I have for Childe cuz why not. When I was playing GI, I first used the EU server during launch, but then Childe got announced and I'm like really bad with bow characters, but Childe's kit makes it so that he doesn't need to shoot with his bow. So I was like: Okay, I want this ginger boy in my account now. But then I got really hyped by his trailer, I HAVE to have him in my main.

So I opened up the NA server and Asia server to get as many pulls as I can to securely get him cuz I pulled for Venti in my EU server and didn't have any for Childe. But like the gambling addict that I am, used up some pulls in the NA server on Klee's banner (I got her too!) And I was like: Whichever server gets him, will be my main server. So theeen! His banner comes out, I have around 40 smth pulls on the NA and Asia server. I didn't get him. And so I was like: Okay... I'll play some more then keep pulling.

Took me total 80 pulls in NA server and I didn't even had the time to do anything on the Asia server cuz I was searching EVERY nook and cranny for primos in NA server and his banner was SO CLOSE to ending. It nearly broke my mind. So NA became my main and ever since then I started bullying Childe every now and then. Which wasn't a good thing. Cuz the game rng does reverse psychology of: If you hate a character, it'll be the only one getting good rng for nearly everything.

I mained Qiqi, and then Noelle after getting her c6, AND then Itto. But guess who was my strongest character with his own signature weapon that I somehow got from a joke pull? Childe. He has the highest stats in my account. And his crit rate is definitely around 60% with nearly 200 crit dmg, BUT HE NEVER CRITS WHEN I NEED HIM TO. I use his ult and then I see that tiny ass dmg with its small font and I'm like, bro... for the love of god pls CRIT (I don't remember what his crit dmg on raw power was but it definitely was past 90k. and he can get around 200k if buffed. I'm a casual player so I'm satisfied with that but GOD, this man knows to annoy me by showing me that mf 10k from an ult that can nuke small enemies).

#aria rants #i have beef with my childe bro. i love and hate him #also i have ayato in my account too. and guess what? nearly same treatment #i liked him during trailer. HE CAME HOME ON HARD PITY. i started bullying him a lil #GAME PROCEEDS TO GIVE HIM GOOD RNG. and somehow i also got his bis weapon #hes my 2nd strongest and it drove me crazy cuz I NEEDED good rng on my actual mains #also also... just before i quit playing. alhaitham got released. and from the beginning #i been givin that guy the same treatment as childe and ayato cuz he gave me #vibes of being bullyable and im like: cool man but haha what if i tease him a lot #i got his e1 bro. i did like 20? 30? pulls. i got him. and then another 10 pulls.#i got him again and im like bro... this game hates me a bit.#istg if i had kept playing and built alhaitham he'll end up as my 3rd strongest #and like broo... my main is itto and yoimiya. i lucked out a bit by getting yoi #some solid artifacts and even got her bis weapon but she needs a specific #kind of team to get her dmg as high as it is. you can put childe and ayato anywhere #and theyd still do tons of dmg. i hate(begrudgingly affectionate) those two #esp childe. hes the og that started this mess and hes still my son even outside gi #anyway time to fr sleep now i didnt expect this to get this long #lack of sleep makes me so talkative like i got so much to say n talk bout #but also i need sleep esp so like man. pick a struggle guuurrl

one thing i like a lot about team rocket not being in every single episode now is that whenever theres a “mystery episode” where we gotta figure out where a pokemon or an item went, it doesnt default to team rocket being the culprit, so the mysteries are less predictable and repetitive

#honestly i dont think you appreciate team rocket trio not being in some episodes until you watch the episodes in order #and literally every single episode is the same general plot of them doing the exact same thing over and over #which like…. ik its an advertising show and it doesnt need to be deep and varied but good god its exhausting #(and its weirder bc the plot is serialized so ur obviously supposed to follow along and watch each episode?#you can pick out plot episodes in hindsight ofc but if u watch while its airing u just get a lot of duds #man im thinking abt how weird pokeani is now. i dont know is this is a genre of show even #bc other video game animes are way more streamlined #and even other long running anime have small arcs to justify the length #and popularity #and other long shows that dont do that are status quo comedies that dont have a serialized narrative like spongebob #and those also dont have 120+ episodes per season #the more i think about it the weirder pokeani is. i don’t necessarily mean this in a bad way #but its weird to think about. and interesting #also im probably missing some other show idk. like ik one piece is over 1000 episodes long too #but iirc thats a serialized show as well so idk #echoed voice
