Went out to the lake last week just to chill and listen to music. Took some pics of my car and scenery.

I'm safe after the tornado hit my city. Would've never thought it would hit close. Luckily my house only had minor damage. My mother's house suffered allot. I'm just thankful that everyone is safe.

Being celibate

I've been celibate for more than a year now all by choice. I've basically been trying to have an actual connection with someone before I dive back in. Surprisingly it hasnt been that hard to resist temptation or the urge to give in. Today I did some self reflecting on how long it's been and now I wish I never had reflected. Now my mind is focused on all the wrong things 😂. Pray for me y'all 🙏.

When I saw this I literally broke down. This shit looks depressing. Whoever this guy is a perfect example of not repeating his actions. No one wins in this situation. The kids lose, the mother lose and he loses.

I've been going to concerts by myself alot lately. I figured I can't wait around trying to see if someone wants to do what I wanted to do. At first it felt weird but now I'm just glad I'm able to do it. Solo life ain't that bad.🤷🏿‍♂️

4 Seasons

For some people making a connection is easy.

It can take a few months, a few days, or even a few hrs depending on what kind of connection that you want.

If you really think about it. The 4 seasons within a year is very important.

Those 4 individual time frames Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall are all different. Yet they are connected and in many ways they prepare us for the next season. In the Winter, we want to be close with someone. In the Spring, we want to open up a bit. In the Summer, we want to be care free and live. In the Fall, we want to find something. It's a cycle and throughout the cycle we change our moods. It's actually deep if you think about it. We change the way we think, how we feel, and the way we prioritize things in our lives.

I think getting to know someone, is getting to know them and accept them through the changing of the seasons. Regardless of which one you're in, I'm a firm believer that it takes 4 seasons to really get to know someone.

I was told that there's a difference between what you say you want, what you seek out, and the things you accept. Some of us have to have a physical connection in order to see if you want to get to know someone and some of us have to have a mental connection in order to even take someone serious.

Then there's people like me that want both.

Am I asking for too much? Nah, I don't think so.

Society is changing rapidly. Some people say, "You have to keep up with what's going on or you'll miss out."

But you can't miss out on something you didn't want.

I guess the hardest part about 4 seasons, is finding someone that is willing to take the time in getting to know you.

Negativity

I think it's crazy people only respond to negativity. Anything positive or uplifting gets ignored. We need more positivity in life. Compliments are a blessing.

Started back weight training this year gained weight but lost weight as well as built muscle. Almost at goal number 1 to be the Muscle Teddy bear 😂😂😂. Been in the gym everyday sometimes twice a day. Add me on MyFitnessPal username nowinprogress
