Richie - Spencer

Enough said.

Grace - Chanse

He’s usually the first (also only) person to call out cheating and is one of the best at listening to/following the rules. Desperately trying to get the others to do the same. Gets more upset when the others don’t play properly. She wouldn’t have his level of sass or character-work but you get what I mean.

Maybe a little Amanda? She’s the offline girlie, so runs the risk of not understanding some elements of the games at times. Oldest at the table, just trying to wrangle the kids and make them play nicely.

Arguably, she could also then be Alex Tran in that sense.

Steph - Angela

One of the most competitive people. Usually ends up cheating, either it’s fully intentionally or she just forgets/misunderstood what she was meant to be doing. Dyslexia causing issues in word games. Can be restless and fidgety, gets bored when she’s ‘killed off’ early in games. Really wants to play for real money. Oh, and the use of her phone.

Pete - Shayne

Uses his knowledge (e.g. psychology degree) to outsmart the other plays. Struggles with lying, especially to his partners, resulting in him usually getting caught out by them. Because of reasonable nature, usually can sway group opinion very easily.

However, there’s a little bit of Tommy in there too, because Pete wouldn’t get as loud as Shayne does… most of the time.

Ruth - Trevor

Youngest player at the table, you know what that means. Usually starts a lot of the drama, not always meaning to do it. Ends up being bullied (playfully) by most other players.

If anyone’s familiar with older Smosh, then Jackie is also very Ruth at times.

Max - Ian

Very, very playful and clearly enjoys the games a lot. Sometimes adds to the drama and chaos or can easily ramp up the competitiveness in the others with his own - he swings both ways. Really gives it his everything. Though Max is definitely more hot headed than Ian and this is obvious in his gameplay.

Kyle - Courtney

A lot more neutral and calm than some of the other players, but don’t let that fool you. Both can be very good in games and are great at not being suspected either as the enemy or a rival, allowing them to snag a lot of wins.

Jason - Damien

Another very logical player. Arguably the most neutral one of the lot in terms of competitiveness. He usually keeps fairly calm and collected, but does have a habit of big-braining it. For better or worse.

Brenda - Arasha

Her best skills (lying) can sometimes become her biggest weakness in particular games. She’s known to be pretty good and competitive, so people are really wary around her - which comes with its own pros and cons. Wants to play for a prize. Let her have her prize.

Stacy - Anthony

Isn’t always around for games (she isn’t as interested in playing as the others/depends on the game), but when they do, they have a great time and can easily match the group. Another player just here to have fun.

My only takeaway from Working Boys was that this very specific Mariah character (the one in the pink dress, next to Brenda) was actually Caitlyn, the NPMD main lead of the Barbecue Monologues. She was there supporting her girlfriend Ruth, methinks. (I'm aware she's most likely not Caitlyn, i just miss her a lot)

Sure, Steph says it first, but it's one of her boyfriend’s close friends, it'd be lowkey awkward if she didn't.

And who's next after Kyle? Brenda! Guys, just just, I keep imagining a conversation between them like, okay

"Kyle, so, since Max died, I've been hanging out with Ruth more and I think I like her." "Oh..." "I still like you! I just also like her."

Guys, Kyle being his girlfriend's wingman is now my favourite thing!

Steph inherited the farm from her mom when she passed, sadly she was a child then so the farm went to Solomon. Now that she's an adult she reclaimed her farm with her partner Pete and their besties Richie and Ruth! Also taking care of those big hybrids and getting into silly/horny shenanigans.

my headcanon for the day is that brenda is really good with cars. not in like a "her parents forced her to learn it way" but that she likes mechanics and figuring out how things work. and maybe one time, with the audacity only a 12 year old can have, she went to that ethan kid's auto shop and asked to learn. to me
