Sorry for the lack of writing and the constant baby talk. I know not everyone vibes with kids and I get it. This isn't a mommy blog, it's villain slut central. But it's also still my page, so I don't feel too bad about it y'know.

whenever I see talk/discourse of how heavy brutal angst of kid's shows is the absolute peak of fan work, the deepest, most honest, look into the harsh realities of this show for babies... I always, somehow, end up thinking about that Smurf torture nursery guy on that one Smurf fan forum, who was genuinely just trying to write heartbreaking hurt/comfort about abused baby smurfs, and it was pretty well received on the site. But then outsiders found out about it, and now there's a ton of youtube videos talking about this guy like he's the world's Most Deranged murder sicko who's definitely too weird in the head to live a normal human life.

are we all just the Smurf abuse guy to someone else?

New Powerpuff & Foster's Watch 6/15/2023

The recent Foster's news has led to people asking Craig McCracken something about his new reboots, and he answered them. McCracken cannot break NDAs, and anything can change between now and the fateful day Cartoon Network reveals the first teaser for it. I would not edit any wikis based on this information.

Foster's Imaginary Nursery has been decided to be a CGI cartoon because it has a higher chance of selling to the preschool demographic. McCracken also considers it a spinoff, and not a reboot.

FIN is not currently planned to be on Cartoonito. McCracken clarified in another tweet that it just has not been discussed.

The only reoccurring original characters are Madame Foster and Bloo, though he hopes to have special cameos from the other characters every now and then.

McCracken is planning on getting the original voice actors back for FIN.

McCracken hopes that FIN will appeal to both fans of the original series and their children.

While it is targeted at preschoolers, FIN is meant to be a show that anyone can enjoy. McCracken aspires for FIN to be as good as Bluey in that regard.

Of course, there were questions about Powerpuff Girls 202X, but unfortunately, while FIN has taken big strides to the point where it can be announced at Annecy, that X in my nickname for PPG 202X is still very much justified.

PPG 202X is still in development, but not at a place where anything can be announced. He added that it is not in production, so do not expect it next year, and he can't promise any year until it gets greenlit.

He does not see Cartoon Network getting the crew back together to bring back PPG 2016. (Every major player of that show has well moved on at this point.)

So, did anyone else read Through the Looking Glass and come to the conclusion that Humpty Dumpty and the Tweedles are stuck in a Hell where they are forced to reenact their nursery rhyme over and over? Well, this cartoon has the same thing explicity be the case for all the nursery rhyme characters with the added credo that if at least one of them goes against what their rhyme says, all the others will be effected. If King Cole isn’t merry, Humpty Dumpty doesn’t break and Jack Be Nimble isn’t nimble. Rupert even says they’re “malfunctioning” as if they’re but soulless automatons meant to do what books say they do, no more, no less.

Jack Horner didn’t appear in this episode; I guess he sat in a wide open space eating an Easter egg and an animated movie made him a kind and loving philanthropist.
