YOU🫵 do you have any potential voice claims for any of your ocs? I've been thinking about voices for WH characters again, and it's evolved to include ocs. (But I'd also like to know about your other ocs too)

Ooooo I’ve thought of some voice claims for them !!! but some are not set in stone:

Dolan is kinda hard to pin down atm cuz nothing fits lol. the only way I can describe it is that he sounds like any dude protagonist however he has this lisp (he speaks Spanish). The closest I’ve gotten is miles but like,, ig older LMAO

For Kiki, I’ve imagined Qwydion from Dragon Age Absolution. Just overall a big sister, silly, headstrong type beat :)) she was more easier to imagine

For Wren, it’s all over the place lol. Since she’s a spellsinger, her range can vary. I’ve always imagined her normal voice is April from parks and rec. I’ve always imagined her to sound sorta like how hiro talks but instead of saying nothing (like him), she says a lot. But her input and opinions are so,,, off putting. So basically monotonous, sorta deep and talks a lot of,,, shit to say it simply LMAO

For her singing voice, her melodic singing is not,,, bad. It’s just that the magic doesn’t do its job when she does melodic singing like say how Joel does it. So she sings fairly good. I’d headcanon Casey lee williams when she sings for Weiss Schnee in RWBY basically.

As for her rock singing, her voice,,, kinda sounds like a guy ig?? Not all the time but like for some reason she sounds like Kellin Quinn in my head??? Her voice could go as deep as a female’s goes but can go as high as a male does?? Idk it’s hard to explain—

Also spoiler alert, the fourth wh oc I headcanonned her voice to be is Lin from spirited away (both dubs I suppose idk) :))

Also idk what u mean by other ocs I have, I’m assuming it’s ocs that are not wh related but I’ll shut myself up before I get sidetracked and start rambling again—

NEW OC! Meet Mori, One of Akari's daughters

Name: Morina Akaza

Age:117

Appearance: Mori has long, light blue hair, bright red eyes with slit pupils, and unlike most of her family, she does not wear a kimono. She doesn't wear a shirt, just a black and red bra with an embroidered pattern similar to her father's kimono with a haori on. She is fortunately decent enough to cover her legs so she wears a knee-length skirt with a black and red pattern, matching her bra. She wears a shit ton of jewlery, matching her mother, and does not wear shoes. Just some fishnet leggings. She wears a gold anklet in memory of her father

Personality: Mori is always doing whatever she can to help and prove herself. She is assumed to be self-centered and a tad selfish. But that's not true at all. She's the kind of person to put other people's feelings, emotions, and needs before her own. However, don't underestimate her. If you're a human, you probably wouldn't win in a fight against her. Especially if ONE, you mess with or trigger her, or TWO, if you fight bare handed. Due to the type of clothes she normally wears, she's also assumed to be a... Whore. And she technecally is due to the type of job she has, but again, don't underestimate her.

Even though miss Morina acts confident whenever she's in public, whenever she's alone, she's just a little ball of beauty, magic, and insecurity. Ever since her father was murdered, she felt like it was up to her to be the head of the family. And although her mother doesn't mean to, she's the reason for most of her insecurities. Mori always feels like her only purpose is to be the kind of creature that her father was. Strong, confident, independent... he was always smiling. Mori learned shortly after about the story of her parents. How they met, how the family came to find the mountain... And how her poor Father was murdered. She then realized... Her father... That was the complete opposite of who she wanted to be. She refused to die like he did. Because of the partner she had. This also is the reason for her hatred towards humans. They really murdered her father just because he married a demon? And what's worse?! He refused to fight! He even refused to help Akari fight! He's to blame for his death! When Akari told Mori about this, she would cry silently while using one hand to scratch her legs, and the other arm to clutch onto her kimono. After her mother was finished, she gritted her teeth and threw one of her world famous temper tantrums, trashing the entire palace as she later cried herself to sleep.(Ngl, this is probably gonna be a scene in her story)

Species: Demon

Abilities/advances/powers: Blood demon Art, intelligence, beauty, speed, able to reform her body.

(I've been working on Mori's post for a while and i haven't really been able to come up with a full story for her. If i do come up with an idea, i will write it.)

Ok, we'll start with Baldwin, my beloved. We will ignore the fact that Andor stole this actor, but I would cast Stellan Skarsgard. Add a beard and he has all the tough dad energy I picture for Baldwin.

Ellery is hard and I had to search before I found the guy with the right appearance and vibes. So I would cast Adam Copeland. He's a big guy like Ellery, but he doesn't come across as just brawn no brain.

Dear Kelly. I think the energy I want for him best comes from Andrew Garfield. I've pictured Kelly with dark hair as well so I like the idea of Garfield playing him.

And I'm so chuffed you're enjoying my WWII indulgence! thank you for the kind words!! Just updated as well. :D

And I'm also pleased you like the Sola/Firmus pairing. It's become a favorite of mine too.

Wingmask was a well loved and trusted warrior within his clan. Though he was known to not get along with his fellow clanmate Thunderpond, the rest of the clan felt moved by the mark of respect he showed as he put all triviality aside, and stayed by her body longer than anyone during her vigil. Mistkit's head felt dizzy. The sound of the forest was as loud as ever yet his heart palpitations were louder, covering the whispers of his clanmates and family as they were reminiscing about their lost one from when she was alive. The image of Wingmask's body arched over Thunderpond's still one flashed in front of the kitten's eyes, only this time the warrior's fur wasn't drenched in the other's blood.

How could he ever tell anyone what he had witnessed.

something ive realized about social media is that people like Character Design but they do not actually like ocs. you can make a zillion designs of like, a humanized fish or can of soda or flower or whatever and get thousands of likes. but once the novelty wears off and you actually want to Make something with the characters and give them a story (mini comics, a longform webcomic, animations etc) its like pulling teeth.

outside of your mutual circle, you will get one or two reblogs thats like "#i dont know what this is from but—" like they are just incapable of realizing there is art outside of fanart. i no longer blame people that go "oh this isnt my oc its actually just my au/take on [popular character this looks nothing like] from [big media everyone loves]" bc you literally cannot get people to engage w/ your art unless its a one off design or already connected to something .

man. idk where im going with this besides it feels like there's nowhere for ocs that arent gimmicky and marketable and it SUCKS !
