Oh! This is actually relevant to some recent old wips I've been thinking about, including the new-old colony au!!! Because, I do have aus where the decepticons are antagonists (or at least Megatron specifically, despite him usually being my favorite character)

In the original colony au notes, the decepticons are the main antagonists and operate closer to how we see them in canon: especially with the desire to conquer Earth and drive humanity to extinction (though, most of this IS from a neutral OC's pov, so the unintentional in character bias could be so fun to think about)

Or, maybe you're asking for specific instances of decepticon characters being evil. Megatron might usually be my favorite character to play with, but I will admit that "Everything Megatron Has Done Wrong" aus are sooooo fun to play with (especially if it's after Megatron's been taken out of the picture, yet sometimes it doesn't feel like he was)

The current OC design I'm working on now, Quantum, is mentioned in a wip that focused a little more on Optimus's broken dynamic with Megatron, and the only reason the OC is mentioned is to play a part in a long chain of "people we have lost along the way", with Megatronus being mentioned in the end as having symbolically "died" and become Megatron instead.

Don't get me started on how I've been thinking about masochist!Tarn in a tarnma dynamic that's still fucked up because Tarn's treatment of Pharma and the inherent pressure of their deal :3
