Black Mirror ("San Junipero" and "Hang the DJ") vibes in the best way. Another one of my absolute favourite fics. If you've read any Lestappen fics, you've probably read "Every Other Sunday." This one is simply a masterpiece by the immensely talented Anney; definitely check out her other fics!

panem et circenses by Anney - rating: E, 13.2k words

Wow - simply devastating, haunting, an ode to these two as drivers, set in a dystopian future AU. The world building is absolutely incredible, but at its heart is such a beautiful story of love and hope. This one doesn't get enough recognition. (TW: implied non-con, not between Lestappen.)

Unlearn by wantinghopingwriting (Tazza1993) (@lightsoutfullhearts) - NR, 45k words

This is another all-time favourite, a must-read. Fake/pretend relationship to lovers multi-chapter story that is ever so satisfying; both of them are so well characterized. Set in a parallel-ish 2022 season. I really cannot recommend this one enough.

Post 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. Max wants to take their relationship further; Charles... doesn't. Oh my God, where do I begin to describe how much I love this fic. The language is beautiful, both of them are so well-written, and I feel punched in the gut over and over again in the best way. The ending (well, the whole thing) is so damn satisfying.

Max has a meltdown in the cereal aisle (yes, the cereal aisle) at 3 am when he realizes he is in love with Charles despite the latter's questionable taste in cereal. Dani has an absolutely wicked sense of humour! (Although I don't understand what she has against cocoa puffs 😭.) She also wrote a banger of a Lestappen soon-to-be teammates fic, so make sure to check out her profile.

Max makes Spotify playlists for the grid. Fluffy, funny, care-free, liberal use of nicknames, with a healthy dose of feels between Max and Charles. A really fun read.

Max and Charles spend summer of 2020 together in Malibu and try not to fall in love. Spoiler alert: they fall in love. I feel the urge to explain something: When I first started reading Lestappen, there were less than 250 fics in their entire tag (yeah I know, we are currently close to 3000 fics, which is insane). From 2019-2021, we truly lived off crumbs. So trust me when I say that we owe so much to altissimozucca, who wrote something like 40% of the fics in the Lestappen tag and nearly single-handedly kept us fed in those days. O : ODE. does your muse have a way with words? Oh we've seen just how colorful his vocabulary is sometimes. Honestly, I don't think he's that good with his words, as we've seen with all their fights in canon, but as far as our ship development, he's learning I feel to be a bit softer and more patient sometimes.

K : KISS. is your muse a good kisser? why / why not? Fun fact, I always headcanoned that he sucks at it at first because she's his first and he doesn't know what he's doing so they need some practice together, IE: making out. U : UNREQUITED. has your muse had their heart broken? -gestures vaguely at the anime for making him look like Tsuna's lost puppy- verse dependent as I've mentioned I do RP him as bi or at least curious, originally I had a headcanon that he might have had feelings for Tsuna at some point and not been able to freely express it. But reading into the manga more it came across clearer that it wasn't romantic it was loyalty to his Boss as we've discussed, he's very ingrained with mafia culture and heavily yankee coded (the rebel, the bad boy, the street smart kid, etc.) and Mafia code is actually really homophobic in a lot of cases so I scratched the whole Tsuna was his first love thing in favor of there possibly being a girl in Italy once but it was like first unrequited crush when he was just a kid kind of thing or possibly a girl he met when he was still on the streets and it wasn't too serious, but like that feeling of admiration because she might have been the first to treat him kindly. Haru thus far is the first girl in our verses that he's ever been serious about as we've seen how he reacts to his fan girls and others like Shittopi.

D : DATE. what is your muse’s ideal date? where / who with / etc? NGL he's old fashioned so it would probably be dinner and watching the stars or something with Haru, just something relaxing and peaceful as I don't see him being too big on crowds like at bars and such. He's more likely to invite her over to have dinner and watch conspiracy theory videos in our verse for them honestly.

E : EMBRACE. does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like? Not in public, as we've discussed on discord, he's not big on PDA. But when they're alone, whoo boy. He's a cuddle bug and will hold her for hours if she needs him to, it's just the macho persona he puts on that makes him kinda "later honey, not in front of the boys" about it. But when they're alone he's the one clinging to her. I even headcanon if he's away from her he takes an extra pillow with him to hold at night because he's used to cuddling her and can't sleep without holding something.

R : ROMANCE. is your muse a romantic or a cynic? Cynic turned romantic if that makes sense. Didn't believe he'd ever be like this until he did get into a relationship. Always thought she was stupid for being such a dreamer, and chasing the 10th, which we revealed in our threads as far as plotting goes was because he wanted her all along and was jealous.

A : AFFECTION. how does your muse show affection? As mentioned, he can be a little slow to catch on and rough with her when people are watching, but when they're alone he's holding her, kissing and cuddling, running his fingers through her hair, gazing in her eyes and so on. Absolute putty in her hands.

Mobius smiled as he guided in front of him Loki who was blindfolded.

"This is a surprise. You haven't forgotten what a surprise is, have you? You do it to me often enough. But I reassure you, a few more steps and we're there. Besides, knowing you, I'm sure you suspect where we are."

Loki stuck his tongue out at him, and mumbled, "In the locker room. But I don't know why and that's what makes me curious."

Mobius replied with an indulgent smile, "Two more steps and we're there. Here we go."

He untied the blindfold and whispered in Loki's ear, "You can open your eyes."

Mobius moved to his side to watch his reaction. Loki's eyes widened and he gasped, "That's..."

Mobius hummed and nodded.

Loki raised his hand and traced with his finger the small plaque taped to the locker door in front of him that read "Agent Loki Laufeyson."

Mobius looked at him with fondness as he saw the expression of wonder on Loki's face when he opened the locker door. He was Loki, god of mischief and prince of Asgard and had this expression in front of something so simple.

"Wow... oh wow!" Mobius was brought out of his thoughts by Loki's exclamation as he had just pulled out a coat from his locker.

Loki reverently undid it from the hanger and put it on. 

Immediately, Mobius remembered the day he had given him his variant jacket, how much time had passed. He couldn't help but smile as he thought that some things hadn't changed.

Loki made the same gesture, raising his collar, pulling out the hair that was stuck and finally tugging the end of his collar one last time before moving his hands away from him as if to say "So?"

Mobius saw in his eyes that he too had remembered the same scene and replied as he had that day, "Smart."

They both laughed at the memory and then Loki's face became serious again.

"What's the matter?" asked Mobius.

"Well, I don't have the same jacket as everyone else, as you, why?"

Mobius walked over and put his hands on the lapels of Loki's jacket, on his chest and said, "Well for starters, our TVA is different from the old one, so I don't think it matters that you don't have the same one jacket as us, and more importantly I know that my Loki is not someone who wants to fit into the mold, so I chose this coat because I would think you would look great wearing it."

Loki asked dumbfounded, "You bought it for me, why?"

"To celebrate your first day as an official Agent of the new TVA and as my official partner."

Loki leaned over and gave him a long kiss clearly overcome with emotion and when they parted to catch their breath Mobius said, "I have one more little surprise."

He put his hands on Loki's tie, his original tie, and began to untie the knot.

Loki laughed, "Oh I see, it's revenge?"

Mobius laughed in return before letting Loki's tie slide to the ground. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small package and opened it. It was a tie, the same pattern as Mobius', just a different color. He tied it around Loki's neck and when he was done he looked up at Loki and said softly, "Congratulations, you are now officially an Agent of the new TVA and my partner. I'm proud of you my Loki."

Loki's eyes shone brighter than usual as he leaned in again to kiss Mobius, putting everything emotion prevented him from saying into the kiss.

When they parted, holding Mobius in his arms he said, emotion in his voice, "I don't know if I've ever been as happy as I am today."

Mobius pushed a lock of his hair back behind his ear and asked, "What would make you the happiest right now?"

Loki thought for a few moments.

"A villain" 

"That's no how I see it"

"You could be whoever you want, even someone good"

"Mobius !"

"Thank you for the sparks!"

"I love you."

Loki put his hand on Mobius' cheek and whispered, "The answer is easy. It's you. You're the one who makes me the happiest. From the beginning."

They stayed like that for a few more moments, basking in the bliss of the moment. 

A little later, as they headed to the rendezvous point of their next mission, their first as official partners, Loki proudly touched the collar of his jacket, and relished in advance how he was going to brag to Sylvie. Because of her years on the run, she had an ability to hide and had been the perfect candidate for an undercover job. She had been working undercover for weeks at a 1970s McDonalds and complained about the hideous color of her work uniform. He would be sure to strut his stuff in front of her as he ordered whatever burger midgardians were fond of.

He laughed inwardly at the anticipation of the scene.

"Agent Loki, are you ready?"

Mobius snapped him out of his thoughts and was standing in front of the time door that would take them to their mission site, facing him.

Loki smiled at Mobius and walked towards him. As they passed through the time door together he answered Mobius, "With you, I am ready, for all time, always."

NO FR FR FR HE . i was thinking abt this earlier like . in OK! specifically, i think that when it comes to The Iconic Line and how they all deliver it differently, i think that i wasn't even ranking mark #1 for his pronunciation, nor do i think i even actually considered Pronunciation very much bc like . i ranked jeno over yangyang for that line but yangyang sounds much more fluid speaking english than jeno so clearly that's not the criteria i was going for kdgfskj

it was like . edge factor + charisma i think? like mark sounds Like A Rapper. He sounds LIKE A RAPPER it was SEXY i can't do this o hmy g od he sounds so hot saying that line . maybe its not abt like whether they pronounce the words "right" but his accent and speech pattern DEF plays a factor for me... like...

i attempted to bold and color the parts of mark's line that just make his delivery my personal favorite, but as you can see.... i pretty much did the whole... thing... rip. anyway:

MARK: "my baby says she wanna dance with a ghost, she wants to leave me, uh" >> LIKE. okay . okay . not even just this line but his "YEAH" right before the line . he sounds like . Right . like he doesn't sound silly at all he's SELLING IT like do i know what that shit even means? NO!! BUT I'LL BE DAMNED IF HIS BABY DIDN'T SAY SHE WANNA DANCE W A GHOST!! AND SHE WANTS TO LEAVE HIM!! UH!! like there's so much charisma in his delivery and he raps LIKE A RAPPER. (or at least far more like a rapper than . other idols that come to mind)

there are a lot of idols who are "rappers" but are not Rapping. johfam, i'm sorry, i'm coming for him for a second. (edit: so by "a second," it turns out i meant that i was gonna keep bringing him up... apologies) have y'all seen that post that's like "johnny raps like he's reading the periodic table" or smth? bc THEY'RE RIGHT!!! LIKE THEY'RE SO RIGHT !! yes, johnny is fluent in english just like mark, but . they deliver their lines so differently.

i think that mark likes to experiment with his voice and see what he can do which is SOOOOOO fun and sexy i love that he's not just trying to Stick To His "Thing" like he wants to grow and do better and that's soooooo sexy and attractive oh god... but like, mark, to me, does have a bit of an advantage when it comes to rapping bc he DOES speak with a more, like, "urban" speech pattern than, like, johnny. who's from the suburbs in chicago. mark lived in QUEENS like he . he sounds Edgier if that makes sense... there's a nuance to the way he stresses sounds and pronounces certain syllables that, to me, feel Really Natural and fitting for, like, rapping.

ppl have def said before that mark's speech pattern borders on a blaccent at times, and i'm not even refuting that; if ppl hear it, then they hear it, yknow? who am i to tell them what they do and don't hear? but like for the most part, i personally don't think he has a blaccent–when i think of those like non-black tiktokers who feign a blaccent and a rly like "hood" persona, it feels really disingenuous and disgusting, tbh bc like . even if you Grew Up Around Black People... i'm willing to bet the black people you allegedly grew up with were NOT talking like that dsjfghdkl (also how the specific brand of white "hood" girls on tiktok all talk the exact same....yet are from entirely different areas of the country....yet got their accents from living around black people.... but black ppl from baltimore don't sound like black people from louisiana, so what's up w that, babes?)

BUT LIKE okay back on topic: sometimes, when tiktokers like the ones i just mentioned, the ones that make disgusting and reductive caricatures out of what they believe to be "Black Culture," are getting gathered by ppl in their stitches and duets and stuff, there are nonblack people who put these weirdos in their places. and these people say they grew up around black people, and You Can Tell !! they don't have a blaccent, they're not forcing anything at all, but there is a specific way that they've picked up on and been influenced by the speech patterns of the black ppl they grew up with !!

i think that, to me, mark seems more like he rly did just have more like... black influence growing up? i'm not saying he was invited to The Cookout or whatever but i think that he was more likely than, say, johnny, to be exposed to ppl of diff backgrounds (not by much,,, in like person,, except for the time where he lived in NYC, which he did for 5 years during a time in human development where we learn a Lot From Our Peers) and like . he's always liked rap music, y'know? so he most likely listened to rap music (which is a Black genre...like it was created, developed, popularized, AND most successfully done by black people) and started picking up on the way they spoke !!

like okay quick sidebar: i have never not attended PWIs. i was socialized for the majority of my life, especially my most formative years, around rich, mostly white girls who were the daughters of socialites. there were other non-white students present, ofc, but we all . for the most part . spoke very similarly . so much so that, like, when i'd go to summer camp or smth and interact w kids whose socioeconomic and racial backgrounds were actually more similar to mine than my classmates but had been socialized to speak/behave differently (note: this is in no way a bad thing. i just want to make that abundantly clear.) and like !! it was a bit of a culture shock for me AND them !! it also took me time to, like, get used to it bc i didn't speak the way they spoke, y'know? so i started learning to code switch and with time i developed a way i spoke At School amongst My (preppy/rich/usually white) School Peers and a way i could speak in more comfortable settings around not-rich, not-preppy, not-white peers!! but that kind of language development is Learned and Developed, yknow? sometimes i'm not even aware that i'm slipping more into, like, AAVE when i'm talking to my mom, and she's like Oh??? what does that mean??? and i'm like "oops." so there are terms, obviously, that black people use, but there are also certain like . ways to pronounce things that differ depending on your background !! i have elements in my speech pattern that sound very like . i rly cannot find the right term rn but i have like two different influences for my speech pattern and they're both very different, but if i pay attention to myself when i speak, i tend to use elements from both speech patterns in, like, the same sentence dgfkjslkf SO. TLDR: language and speech patterns are very much developed and are fostered by the community that you grow up in as well as the media you expose yourself to.

ANYWAY back on track . as someone who i think had more black influence in his upbringing than, again just to keep the metaphor going, johnny, i think mark developed a speech pattern that, in some ways, echoes how some black people speak !! but i also think that MY upbringing has a lot to do w how i receive mark's rapping lines as opposed to johnny's or smth. mark's speech pattern is far more familiar to me than johnny's, i think, and like... because he sounds more like What Rap Music Artists I Know sound like than johnny, i'm like, yeah, that sounds good, that sounds right, that sounds familiar !! mark has a much better sense of how to stress certain syllables and manipulate certain sounds because i think he grew up with rap music far more than johnny did and was probably around more ppl of different backgrounds !!! like––again, no offense to johfam, i come in peace––johnny raps like a suburban dad at a barbecue reading off the instructions on how to work the grill. to me, he doesn't deliver the lines...he just says them. mark, imo, delivers his lines and, like, seems to make more of a concerted effort to sell it, yknow?

now, to be fair, i think that mark is at an advantage compared to johnny bc as we can see, he gets way more lines and opportunities to practice and improve himself. i feel like if johnny was given as much attention by,,,,, idk the producers? coaches? the music team? you get what i mean hopefully sdfgkhdf,,,, as mark has access to (or even, like, a fraction of their time, yknow?) i bet he could at least be coached more on, like, How to deliver certain lines and i'm not even saying he has to Sound "Black" or even Sound Like Mark; i'm saying that there are times when he's singing/rapping or smth (in english bc i am only able to critique his english delivery obvi) where he says smth and i'm like . Suburban Dad At A Barbecue.... they could at least give johnny pointers on how to kinda ease off of that affect he uses ??? idk ??? bc there are def artists in the western rap industry that don't rap the way i'm "used to" or the way i'd expect... like lil dicky !!!! i mean this so genuinely: lil dicky is a super entertaining rapper and i think he's very talented !!! i think that, though, he has a Very Unique rapping delivery that isn't common and also isn't really very compatible for, like, featuring on other people's songs. lil dicky's THING is like "hey i'm kind of a corny/dorky white dude but i can rap!!" and like. yes you are and yes you can king 💖 but lil dicky's style of music would be out of place in Another Rapper's style, but he could invite other rappers to his style. for example like his song w snoop dogg called professional rapper !! lil dicky's audience KNOWS how he sounds already; they're expecting that sound from him, and they know it's different than "typical" rappers! when snoop dogg is on lil dicky's song, it's bringing in, like, what we more typically expect from rap music (snoop dogg) which contrasts with what lil dicky does!! i'm simplifying a lot bc i am realizing how much i've written and i'm aghast tbh so . if you want me to elaborate on the following analogy, just ask!!

more traditional sounding, "cool" rappers: snoop dogg, mark lee

less traditional sounding, "uncool" rappers: lil dicky, johnny

when SM gives 127 songs with rap parts, they are 100% always aiming for sounding more traditional sounding, "cool" (why do you think we hear words like "ethnic," "urban," "street," "hip-hop" all the time? i'm not saying i agree w their word choices, i'm just pointing it out to clarify my point) in their songs.

when mark raps his lines, he is being a more traditional sounding, "cool" rapper. his vibes are consistent with the sound they're aiming for. when johnny raps his lines, he is being a less traditional sounding, "uncool" rapper. his vibes are inconsistent with the sound they're aiming for (to me; i feel like their production team prob doesn't 100% agree bc like . they're obvi still having him do what he does, y'know) so if their production team wants a more traditional sounding, "cool" sound, then they should coach johnny (as well as other members who get rap parts on their songs) how best to fit the sound they're looking for... does that make sense at all?

(also just while i'm thinking abt it: this can apply to jaehyun, too !! he def has had some rap moments where i was like Baby, Let's Not Do That, Actually... (think dancing in the rain) bc he sounds, at times, more similar to johnny's "style" than he does to mark's, ig. but i think that not only is the SM production team wising up, but also jaehyun is improving!! bc they're not giving jaehyun the same kinds of lines they'd give mark or johnny, rly. they give jaehyun lines where he can talk fast, he can speak low/deep/huskier, kinda be "sexy" when rapping? kinda like whisper-rapping (think abt bring the noize) and/or somewhat melodic sing-talking rapping (think lemonade) and etc. so !! i'm not just coming for johnny i promise i rly am just using him as an example !! i think SM's production team is essentially trying to fit a square peg (johnny) into a round hole (edgy/"cool" rap lines) and it really doesn't seem to be working, at least to me. i think SM should figure out, like, what they want johnny to Do and what he's Best At and what he could Improve On. bc i'm gonna be real, his lil monologue in favorite (vampire) was NOT it. at all. it was the mark tuan-ification of johnny suh (if you don't know what i mean, check out this song by got7; if the timestamp doesn't work, go to 2:30-2:40...yeah.) and i was not a fan at all in the slightest dfsgjsdlk)

OKAY I'M RLY WRAPPING THIS UP IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT I WENT ON FOR THIS LONG esp bc like . you poor, poor soul, anon... i'm so sorry you didn't ask for this at all kdjsfgkljdfk BUT IN SOME SORT OF SUMMARY: there are obviously very different, distinct ways and styles of rapping and people are naturally going to have preferences and opinions !! i just think that sometimes SM's production team attempts to Do Too Much in some of their songs... they could either help/coach the members whose voices don't quite fit the vibes they're going for OR they could compose songs and parts that DO fit these members' voices !! i don't want it to seem like i'm over here going "give [insert member] more/less lines!!" bc i'm not !! i just want SM's team to like...play to their strengths... and either accommodate or hone each member's individual charm so they all get an actual genuine chance to put their best foot forward y'know? don't try and combine, like....uh.... glazed donuts and ranch dressing to make one very odd, potentially icky dish... find separate recipes where we can make use of the glazed donuts AND we can make use of the ranch dressing. hhhHHHhh yeah okay i think i said my piece finally...

top 5 haikyuu characters!

oh god here we go this was difficult

01. hinata shouyou - this actually really surprised me at first because i'm a huge side characters type of person, but i think hinata just brings out both the competitiveness and best in everyone. don't know how to explain beyond that but he's just such A Guy i love him

02. kozume kenma - i think it's that one episode in s4 that really sold me. his whole relationship to hinata and taketora really bring out a lot of his character by contrast (character foils!) and how he develops. taking the extra step, "is it weird that i tried for my friends?!" god i'm proud of him

03. kuroo tetsurou - ah yes. this bitch. he's purposefully annoying but knows his boundaries. he's apologized to characters (read: daichi lmao) for pushing it. also timeskip kuroo makes me very emotional and i owe it to this art piece by h4mmiee. and now i'm working on a kuroo-centric fic lol

04. bokuto koutarou - his vibes. he makes me smile a stupid amount. he's always just a positive force and there's this manga scene way into nationals that i know you've probably read but i absolutely lost my shit, oh my god i love fukurodani and their dynamic. bokuto can bring back their morale and they understand and support him oh my g od,,,

05. kita shinsuke - he's actually not got that much screentime for anime-only fans but i think there's a beauty in simplicity with his character. by which i mean the routine "i am a byproduct of my rituals" thing stuck with me a lot. i didn't expect him to make in on my top 5, but he absolutely deserves a spot imo

i had to select a top three from each school and start narrowing down my list from there lmao, i have a "few" honorable mentions if you're willing to indulge me. yaku, yamaguchi, oikawa, akaashi, tendou, komori, suna, and osamu all could've made it on there but i would be rambling and it wouldn't be a top 5. maybe i need a little help

Markiplier played the newest game from the Henry Stickmin series (Completing the Mission) and I’m crying it’s so good-

(Me just gushing over stuff after the cut because I don’t want to spoil and I typed out so much stuff)

The Henry Stickmin series lets plays were one of the first videos I’ve watched from Mark. Why is this a big deal? If I hadn’t watched them, believe it or not but my life would probably be so much different from how it is now. So, seeing him playing a game from the series gave me MASSIVE nostalgia. Also has made me realise that I’ve been watching his content for five years which frankly is amazing.

If you don’t know the Henry Stickmin series, you better play/watch a playthrough of them before reading because I’m going to spoil it so much. From what I know, the remaster of games 1-5 as well as the newest one is found on Steam but the original 1-5 are on Newgrounds and Stickpage.com. (Technically there are 7 in the series but whatever)

I really like the references in this one (mainly because I got a lot of them) and they were hilarious. The Undertale reference made me laugh a bit, I think I would’ve liked it more when I was Undertale trash 5 years ago. The Minecraft references were pretty good, the one where Henry was bridging to the rocket made me laugh waaay too much. Them making him go ‘oough’ when he died was a good nod to the old death sound. 

Aside from that, the text on the fail screens have just been amazing. I specifically remember the drill fail where it said something like ‘haha drill go brrrr’ as well as the part where they downgraded the animation and said the budget ran out. 

The choices this time were awesome. I LOVE the fight scenes. I don’t really watch anime but I really like how they put in one of the characters just talking during the fight and explaining everything. The funniest part for me though would be when you pick the barrel, Henry and Ellie get shot up, and you need to do a combo with Charles and the choice ‘Grab’ just makes him give you a high five before you fall. That fail had me laughing so hard it hurt. It’s probably one of the funniest fails along with Henry 360 no scoping Ellie, Charles crashing the helicopter, and the dancing distraction (all from Fleeing the Complex).

The callbacks to the previous games were also really heccing great, the dancing distraction fail was one of my favourites and I love how they made it work this time. The teleporter too, the entire scene was so well made and I love how Henry didn’t even want to use it because it screwed him over so many times. Oh! I almost forgot, in one route, the fail screen says ‘Henry will remember that’ which is a really nice nod because it references the text you see from the Ghost Inmate ending when you leave Ellie behind (’Ellie will remember that’)

I also really love how the characters from the government, the tophat clan, and the wall all appear in the game. It’s just- I love it, so so much.

Ellie and Henry’s dynamic is also really, really good. It reminds me of Joe and Cleo’s (Hermitcraft) dynamic. On his own, Joe’s chaotic but he makes it work in his own way. On her own, Cleo feels more organised and logical. Together, they do stupid things. (Terrible summary but give me a break, it’s late and I’m tired but I wanna finish this) I just really, really like their friendship and I find it so great that they’ve only known each other for like what- a day or two? And, Ellie trusts him enough to follow through with his plans even when she doesn’t fully understand them.

Okay, Ellie and Henry are great but can I just gush about Charles? 

Best. Character. In. The. Game.

Him with his plans back in Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex were enough to make me love this guy but Completing the Mission just made Charles SO GOOD. I love his chemistry with Henry (plus Ellie) and his dialogue is absolutely hilarious. Seriously, he probably has the best lines in the entire series.

Also, he is SUCH a good friend. He’s only met Henry either once or twice (depending on the endings) but in the Valiant Hero ending, he seemed perfectly fine with exploding because Henry was safe and the mission was complete. And, his final lines DESTROYED ME. His dialogue was all written out in the captions but the voice never completed it.

When watching the video, I legitimately CRIED for Charles’ death. Markiplier did NOT leave enough time to just process and get over his death. In that ending, Charles died a hero but it was so SAD. His final lines- oh g od. 

“We did it though. We got' em. Pretty good plan. You could say it was the greates-” 

...

That being said, favourite ending (and the one I consider canon in my head) is Triple Threat. I want an ending with both accomplices alive please.
