Aro culture is being asked "out of everyone in school, who would you date?" And panicking internally because you have nothing to say and people wouldn't believe you if you said no-one, so you blurt out the first person you think of, who just so happens to be your best friend. Who got broken up with by your other best friend only a few weeks ago. And the Breaker Upper hears you.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐃𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 ?
love as tenderness.
love as gentleness after a lifetime of cruelty. when ocean vuong said,
'sometimes being offered tenderness
feels like the very proof you've been ruined ' ,
and when pablo neruda said,
'like a jar you housed the infinite tenderness' and like the infinite oblivion shattered you like a jar.
and when anais mitchell said,
'all i've ever known is how to hold my own,
and now i wanna hold you too. '

write a letter to your inner child and i’ll tell you what flower you’ve blossomed into
a poppy, for remembrance
"through the dancing poppies stole a breeze most softly lulling to my soul." — john keats, endymion (1818), book I, line 565.
you seem to mourn your past, as your inner child has died. you've been through your battles yet still have an immense amount of hope for the future. a yearning for peace of mind is what you have when you try to look for the sparks you've once felt in your life. but remember, you will no longer have to fight or defend yourself after you grow in a field where the vibrance of your petals are commemorated.

answer some questions and i’ll give you a character arc
hero arc.
well done - you did things right. this may seem like a boring answer, but i promise it isn't. you believe in goodness and you believe in doing good, and through everything, you work to keep that goodness.
you have seen so much blood, and your instinct is always to stitch. you grew and fought and won, and i'm glad you did, because someone had to. i'm glad you kept believing in the world you were trying to save. you are far braver than most could ever be.

How does your story end? with a whimper.
you only ever wanted a quiet life. all you've been trying to do all this time was to go *home*. you are cold, tired, and terrified - there is nothing of a fighter in you, but you have tried. oh, how you have tried. there is no shame in knowing one's limits. the battle is won without you. your place is in the aftermath, a healing touch, a soft word. your tale is an anecdote. those who know you will tell it around the campfire, always kindly; you are asked after often, you and your garden and your pet. you don't enter into the mythos, and you prefer it that way.

Guys, Phil is 37…. Debating if they’ll have kids or not is pointless he’s already too old to be getting pregnant without complications (geriatric pregnancy starts at 35), not to mention his health problems. Like Dan should’ve knocked him up years ago, they’re really past the point of no return. Sorry about it but they’re not stupid, they would’ve already done it if they were gonna
