I’m having severe brainrot right now and need to scream into the void about it

This item. You get it from Morgotts remembrance.

I have a stupid theory about this. The only equipment you get from his remembrance are his weapon and his cloak. Literally just the only things he had on him.

The Omen Bairns are made to memorialize each omen child, so I’m under the assumption that this specific one was commissioned by Marika and Godfrey, or maybe even only by Godfrey.

You could say that the original was lost to time and that it was so intrinsically connected to Morgott that you can recreate it with his remembrance. But I want to go the angsty route.

What if he just. Had it. What if he just kept it. What if. What if. What if he was literally just carrying around the raw essentials. His weapon, clothes, but also the trinket his parents made for him when he was born.
