EEEEEKKK uhhh ill talk abt hook cuz thats the post yea yea

warnings for talk of death, dismemberment, implied cannibalism, ya

hook was spawned in lost temple, at about uhhh 14 she joined the true eye cult, having lived outside of it before hand. mostly out of wanting a purpose in life and intrigued by their religious practices, and also just to have a place to stay since she was pretty much homeless and didnt really like others

she was basically just raised there, given a mild education (with what they could offer anyways) and church teachings and allat, she had some friends, lalala. at some point having her eye replaced with the glass one

until about 17-18 she starts looking for what roles/jobs to do for the cult, she wasnt really interested in the religious aspects of it, but she still followed their beliefs.

her gear, (deluxe hook shot) works kinda like a grappling hook, but instead of the 'claws' going out to hold onto something, they just go inwards, like a claw machine ig would be a good comparison.

the claw part can be shot out pretty far and fast, and yea. very sharp and has those spikes on the big claw

she started doing different like, delivery type jobs, hauling stuff. she did some stupid stuff, getting into petty fights with higher ups, or just causing unneeded ruckuses. getting 'demoted' to doing moreso the dirty work if you will.

she became part of the 'clean up crew' which would basically be the ones to drag away the dead bodies produced by the cult (whether it be traitorous cult members, results of a duel, enemies of the cult, or just some unnamed guy dead in the streets) the crew was the ones who were to either bury or burn the bodies. get them out of sight if you will.

at first she HATED the job, she wasnt averse of violence or anything but many of the bodies were in pretty gorey conditions, and having to get that close and haul them herself made her eugh.

which is kinda why it served as a punishment in the first place. after about half a year she wasnt required to do it anymore, but she gave up on the other roles or jobs, not feeling she had all that much talent, so she just kinda settled on it

slowly as she does it though, she starts to not see the dead bodies as people, being clearly desensitized and just seeing them like rubble to be cleared out. and the constant smell of inphernal blood and guts has gotten tuned out of her mind.

but then, as most of her interactions with people are dead, she starts not really seeing the living as people either, that they'll meet their end someday and just become another mound of dirt

honestly didnt feel like her life Had that much purpose, hell, she didnt believe in what the church taught anyways. she didnt believe in others because they were all animals, all to be killed, all to just bring eachother to an end. to harvest.

one day, when she was about 23, a burial coworker, who I'll just refer to as S. tried to kill an important higher up, and was executed for it, being shot twice and left to bleed out in the sand. she found him, basically on the cusp of death, and just kinda watched. she wasnt at the aftermath, but his time was running out.

it was just so interesting. and it was someone she had atleast worked with before. so she approached, took her gear and would begin to dismember him. watching his reactions as he faded in and out of painful, painful death. this was a traitor, someone stupid enough to get themselves killed. the blood staining her hands, it was warm, and the smell of it all, she felt like an animal, and so was he. so she consumed.

when the body of the traitor was to be burned, it was missing its arms.

after the 3rd 'family' member was found disfigured, she was threatened and she fled to the coverage of thieve's den forests

using the large claw of her own gear to tear that pure white glass reminder in her skull out. it was messy, it was freeing. and by the heights it hurt.

The idea of helping Malleus dress up is adorable. You sat him down and helped him tie his choker by the laces and then comb his hair. Lilia was definitely melting from this domestic sight, you would often tie his ribbon for him as well. As for Silver, you would always fix the creases of his uniform or his hair, mostly because he slept at random places inconveniently. Sebek? He found it ridiculous until he found out his liege fancied you, especially Lilia. Sebek no longer complained when you helped him keep his hair up all the time.

Jade would be the type to dress you up instead of the other way around but here he was, having his bowtie tied and earring put on. You buttoned his uniform and all, passing him the fedora before sending him off to Mostro Lounge. You gave up on Floyd but still helped him with eyeshadows and eyeliners if he promised to stay still and not smear them. Azul was definitely melting and spewing ink internally when you combed his hair, adjusted his coat, and praised him for being pretty. He felt like he could die on the spot.

Helping Kalim dressed up reminded you of grooming a puppy. So active and all, especially with the warmth he emitted out of nowhere. Jamil did not need your help but he secretly liked it when you did his hair by hand and not magic. Tsun tsun...

Riddle was all red when you played with his heart-shaped hair, trying to bend it or anything yet it remained sturdy. Was it magic? Gel? Or just genetic?

If Deuce had a tail then it would be wagging hard for your attention. How could he not when you were so close to him, dusting his uniform?

Cater's uniform had always been messy but his hair was always in good shape! Cay-Cay was the happiest when you helped him do his hair.

Drawing a clover on his face had been a habit for Trey so it wasn't a struggle for him anymore. You wanted to help him and he figured letting you draw the clover would be a treat for him since it would take you a long time and he got to look at you closely for a long time~

Ace was definitely running his mouth all the time despite the faint blush he had all the time. He'd make you draw the heart on his face and tease you non-stop (to make you struggle more and stay longer)

Leona would flick his tail at you in annoyance but judging from his ears, he wasn't completely against it.

Jack wagged his tail a little bit too hard...

Ruggie was a bit embarrassed if you had to look at his skinny body, not like he was malnourished (almost) but still, he could never compare to Jack or Leona's muscles or the other students' healthy and normal body.

Rook was on one knee as you helped him put on his hat. He was already perfectly dressed up before you could even try.

Epel just pouted because he felt like a doll but wasn't completely against it.

Idia was already throwing random shirts he could find until you stopped him. He could be wearing a jacket all day with no one knowing what he put on beneath it but you were insistent in making him put on the uniforms properly. Troublesome as it may but he found your attention endearing.
