okay, i'm about to watch the severance finale!! somehow i've managed to avoid all spoilers except that one gif of mark and gemma kissing covered in blood a la demolition lovers (iykyk) so here are my predictions:

gemma will die. i don't think she's making it out of this. and even if she did... she's been so thoroughly destroyed by lumon that really, is she not dead already?

we'll find out what mammalians nurturable is about. like just from a storytelling perspective it would be dumb as shit not to tell us. also, consider, i want to know

idk what he'll do or be there for but ricken will show up. he hasn't been in an episode in a minute and is due for some screen time

two big secondary characters will die. absolutely no guesses as to who and i have no proof to this, it's entirely vibes. possibly burt, natalie, or felicia from o&d

Sun's pulling out the list once more to show Nezha what they need. "We've already got the pear from the desert. We need to head to the Swirling Gulf. There's a glowing kelp there." Sliding the list back inside, Sun hops onto Nimbus and looks at his friend,

"Gabe is going to go and get the Fungus I think. We should hurry. Monkey King doesn't have much time." Sun's trying not to let the worry and fear get to him. The last thing he wants is to feel the panic AND make things worse for Monkey King.

Okay how about yokai fukufuku au.

How about Fukuzawa who's 12 years old and lives on the edge of a mountain village with his mother and is known among the townfolk for helping everyone with everything.

And then his neighbors start to go missing one by one and their belongings are found in the forest afterwards.

And of course Fukuzawa thinks investigating the case is his Duty™ (BOY YOU'RE TWELVE). But as soon as he finds himself deep in the forest, he immediately loses his way and after a while hears heavy footsteps in the distance.

The oni is scary.

He's large, his skin is red, his eye whites are yellow which makes him look even more intimidating, and his fangs look exactly like he can't wait to bite Fukuzawa's head off.

- Are you the one to torture and devour those of my kind?

The oni smirks and snorts.

"And if I am, what then? You'll slice me with your butter knife?"

Fukuzawa frowns, clenching his father's old sword.

"Let's fight."

The demon's eyebrows raise. Fukuzawa notices that, unlike the onis he has heard tales of, this one's hair is white. Meanwhile the beast lets out a big laugh, making the forest around them shudder.

"I like you! What's your name?"

"Fukuzawa Yukichi".

"A'right, Yukichi", - he then exclaims, and Fukuzawa winces at the familiarity, - "let's fight. If you win, I leave. But if you lose..."

There's no way back.

"...I eat you alive."

Fukuzawa frowns, once again. And nods, raising his blade against the spikes of the demon's mace.
