I'm almost 100% sure this is how the agency will stop Fukuchi getting One Order
Aya seemed to recognise the flash of One Order. Why? One Order was made during the war and never used, so there’s no way she’s seen it before. But there is one blinding flash that she would have seen, and that she could never forget
AND GUESS WHO IS RIGHT THERE ON THE BATTLE FIELD!
I think Kunikida swapped out One Order for a fake containing a flash bang, Tanizaki is also there and could have used light snow to make them invisible while Fukuzawa distracted Fukuchi. And Fukuchi couldn't stop this by cutting the past, since he would have no way to know where they were at any given moment
But how could they have done it? They are on deaths door, well as Kunikida says here...
I thought it was weird that Yosano hasn’t shown up in the airport so far, she is way to central to the ADA to be left out of what seems to be building to the final conflict, this would be a great way to bring her in and call back to Kunikida saving Aya. The ADA is strongest together, and the biggest mistake Fukuchi (someone who does not have a great track record with subordinates) makes is forgetting that.
I thought for ages that Ranpo’s plan with Poes book was incredibly dumb, it was way to straight forward and he had shown Fukuchi what the books could do beforehand. But if it was just to make Fukuchi think he had thwarted him and let his guard down then it makes perfect sense!
I also think that Fukuzawa trying to convince Fukuchi to kill him and spare the others was not part of the plan, he feels responsible for everything that happened to the agency, and feels like Fukuchi only targeted them to get revenge on him.
So I still think there is a good chance of him potentially dying
Overall I'm really confident about the flashbang thing, since otherwise Aya's line makes no sense. but the rest also fits very well! They could use Annes room to escape afterward and Fukuchi would have no way to follow them, Ranpo is not stupid enough to leave room for error in such an important moment.
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE HOW THIS ENDS

I desperately need Asagiri to write a novel about Hunting Dogs. Except there's no backstories there's no angst it's just the same vibe as the day before Atsushi's entrance exam novel. It's 150 pages worth of Jouno trying to get Fukuchi to sign a restrictive order to ban Tetchou from cooking, it's Teruko on Tachihara's shoulders inviting Suegiku to a 2v2 duel, it's just them trying to get their paperwork done and failing miserably.

Maybe I'm insane BUT
Ok I caved and watched the final episode (I've only been reading the manga, got a lot of anime to catch up on but still) and, this:
So, what is this?
There's two main possibilities, I think:
One, that it's just as it said: in a linear succession, two hours after we left off, something's gonna happen with Fukuchi's corpse (?) and kickstart another round to the whole mess.
Maybe someone else uses his body and amenogozen. He definitely doesn't look alive, I mean, look at his feet!! Those sure aren't feet. And his hand! And the horns! And the facial covering, like an undead creature!! Mystical shit all around. Maybe it's the Page, 'cause it's the night of the full moon, when everything was supposed to come to fruition. Maybe it does whether the Page has to pick this man up and puppet through it.
But also, the insane other possibility:
There was a moment during their fight in the ship when Atsushi and Akutagawa combined their abilities for a surprise attack, remember?
It ended like this:
The first being the "timeline" where they killed Fukuchi right there, and the other version of events where they didn't.
In the first they were left to wonder...
And just like that, that "timeline" was undone, cancelled and rewritten by Amenogozen's interference. Timeline in quotes 'cause it was supposedly cancelled and didn't functionally divide the story into two routes. It just set things back to the timeline we follow afterward, with Akutagawa being killed-vampirized and Atsushi escaping alone.
I just find it really strange that, here,
Akutagawa refers to things as a "story".
Like... what does he mean? IS there another version of events gonna split from somewhere, somehow?
Maybe not. Probably not.
It's more likely that it's linear time, linear events, someone does something to his body and stuff, but... I dunno. Huh.
Guess we'll have to see what the manga drops next.

Fukuzawa's ability "All Men Are Created Equal" gives anyone he recognises as his teammate equal control over their abilities as everyone else in the organisation. So, as soon as Atsushi accepted to join the team he immediately gained full control of his powers to the same level that Dazai has, now the only thing blocking his progress is how creative he can be with his own abilities. A unique way of making a character very OP very fast (Unfortunately the only BSD character with OP powers that would really need this extra boost is on the wrong team. 😅💔 - Life is not kind to Chuuya).
I'm just very intrigued by Fukuzawa's ability. At first glance it doesn't look like anything impressive but that's because he's organised a team of heroes who fight for the greater good. Keep in mind that if any of his new teammates were to just leave their control over their abilities would resort to square one. And because he's so kind most of anyone who works with Fukuzawa immediately feel indebted to him.
Imagine this dude as a military commander or Mafia boss (I understand more and more why Fukuchi and Mori can't control themselves. I'd be mad if Fukuzawa broke up with me too).
