So I guess while im setting everything up, this will be the masterpost? To those who got Ivil's message, hi!

I had to move blogs for personal reasons. But don't worry! We're gonna move all the old stuff here! This blog is gonna be the main tumblr home for the full series. Im hoping that reuploading the old posts slowly will get all the old followers to migrate here?

ah forget it. Main thing is... I eat pasta for breakfast is a story about a little girl cursed with demonic power that wanders into a world of monsters, cryptids, and murderers. It has a lot of... flaws and was discontinued after a certain point, leaving it unfinished.

The older I get, the more I value people who are kind, compassionate, forgiving, and willing to work on themselves. And, the less I want to do with people whose politics and beliefs would seem to indicate that they are but whose actions show them to be unkind, unforgiving, and unwilling to look inward. Too many people have decided that cruelty is praxis as long as it's directed at the "correct" people. But punishment doesn't teach and is not synonymous with accountability. Cruelty creates more problems than it solves and fails to recognize the spark of the Divine in every person. Worse, it usurps the role of Hashem, who is the only true Judge.

As a religious Jew, I have to believe that every person has the ability to repent and change themselves for the good as long as they are alive. Even in death, I have to believe that gehinnom is temporary and meant to wash clean our collective neshamot, which are pure.

These are my values and I do my best to live by them. At the same time, I'm human and I make a lot of mistakes. I get angry and frustrated and I lash out. Or I allow myself to succumb to despair instead of seeing the broken things in the world as opportunities Hashem has given me to help others and release the Divine sparks trapped within. I do not always speak as wisely and as kindly as I wish I had. My deepest regrets in life are the times when I failed to be kind as I could have been in hindsight. I am a flawed person and I make mistakes. But, I also do my best to admit and correct them.

Hazbin deaged AU! ♥️✨ Generally, the older characters become younger, and the younger characters are a little older! So Alastor is 6, Husk is 4, Angel is 8, Charlie and Vaggie are 12, and so on! Luci is 100 years younger but you can’t tell bc he’s so old! 😆 the one exception is Niffty, who’s 2 years old because it’s just cute and fitting that she’s a tiny lil baby!

You’re free to draw lil Al or Husk or both, together or separate or with Lucifer or any other combination (in fact I’d CRY if you did!🥹) so long as you tag me!! I’d love to see it!!! 💖

Some rambly infodumping if you’d like to know more about the AU:

Alastor a feral little rascal but is capable of being a polite little gentleman if he chooses to be! 😆 As a de-aged gremlin he does love to scamper about with his hoovsies out, usually forgoing shoes, which adult Alastor would loathe hehe! In being de-aged, a lot of the things Alastor tries to hard to present himself as (refined, in-control of his every reaction, put-together and neat, etc!) are mostly stripped away, and he’s left even more impulsive, reactive (both negative and positive emotions!), inclined to blab what he’s thinking, act messy and unrefined, etc! Which again, older Alastor would HATE 😆

Little Alastor absolutely WILL bite, no hesitation! He also loves to eat things that most definitely should not be eaten! 😆 Alastor’s shadow shrunk down to match him and helps him get into mischief too hehe!

Lucifer makes all the de-aged kiddos their outfits and delights in doing so! 😆 He makes them other outfits and little pajamas too! He loves being able to be a dad to little ones again, even if he is SUPER overwhelmed by just how many there are that he’s responsible for! Particularly without Lilith here to help this time☹️ His mental health, as we know, isn’t—great! So this is a good motivator, in a way, that he can’t bedrot for days on end with no word to anyone, but also, for that very reason, it’s also very hard on him that he can’t just have a moment to decompress! Charlie and Vaggie are old enough that they can help out some, but young enough that Lucifer can’t rely on them to be left too long with the little ones without supervision! 😆

All the kids have very different food preferences, different levels of development, different bedtimes, different clothing preferences, different play styles, some need baths/showers more often, some need help and supervision bathing, some don’t, and it’s very hectic all the time, and Lucifer is having a TIME trying to accommodate everyone and make sure no one gets into trouble or gets hurt and everyone has what they need!

Little Al is obsessed with 4-year-old Husk and treats him like his favorite stuffie, hefting him around—with little regard for if it’s comfortable for Husk or not—and petting him, pulling on his tail and wings, nibbling on him, etc! Little Husk can walk an all fours and on two legs, and he doesn’t speak, only make kitty sounds, and the rest of the Hazbin Hotel doesn’t know really know for sure how old he is or if he’s not speaking by choice or not! Alastor also adore baby Niffty, but he’s noticeably more gentle and tender with her than he is with Husk! 😆

Lil Husk is very picky, and loves drinking from bottles even if he’s technically too old to be doing so! (BECAUSE IT’S TOO CUTE😭)

thanks so much for this question, as this issue wasn't even on my radar at all and i had to go do a quick search!!

i haven't given it much thought. if it's not a huge time sink for me, i would back up my posts hopefully soon and put them on my squarespace or something, and change my domain name to go to a blog there instead of here. i might also start posting more to social media like ig or fb, or i might just stick with the domain and patreon. another option would be to put everything on patreon, and just have the stuff that's free here be free on there too.

if it is a pain to back up, i would just migrate to there and we would sadly lose the old posts but i would never stop making new ones!

meanwhile i do have a linktree. i don't use much social media at all other than this but in the event that we had to move, you would easily be able to find me via that.

hopefully it never comes to that! i love my little tumblr blog here and i think it's brought me the absolutely most perfect demographics of a following.

1. i do not write for A*rcane anymore and i don't foresee myself picking it back up. trust me, go look at my ao3 and you'll see that i've done my time in those particular salt mines.

2. you can find my ao3 account here. all my fics are posted there, and i no longer post full stories/chapters on tumblr - only snippets and previews. almost all my A*rcane fics have been removed from tumblr and are only on ao3 with the exception of the stray drabble that i couldn't find when migrating things.

Maintaining a devblog keeps your audience in the know and helps facilitate productivity so you’ll have something to blog about. Development logs are essentially the same thing, except we’ll be using the jam forums rather than a blog. However, you are free to use both the forums and your own blog as you develop your game.

Doing so is not necessary at all, but check out all the logs from last jam! In order to get the most out of your jam experience, it is vital that you interact with your fellow jammers and the community surrounding it. They’ll provide valuable feedback and support to help you along the way. So please, we encourage you to mingle, post in other logs, and of course post your own!

DWRP is more active than regular fandom DreamWidth, but it's full of people who are anti-queer in the weirdest ways. They're queer, but they use words like "transtrender" and "fujoshit" and "asexies". They hate how prominent slash is in DWRP but bash people who play female characters as playing self-inserts/playing Mary Sues and decry female characters who have sex as "cock-hops". Playing a lesbian or bi woman is equated to being a 40 year old guy who jerks it to lesbian porn and reveals "neckbeard qualities", even if you're an out lesbian yourself. NB people are regularly mocked on both Plurk and in anon communities as "thembys" and "genderspecials".

DWRP has also slowed down hugely in the last 5 years, with many major games closing and most new games not lasting half a year. I once accidentally started wank when I said I don't consider someone who only replies to 2 comments or less a month a roleplayer, and people rushed in to argue that we're all just too busy to reply to more than that many comments and the only way you have more time than that is if you're a NEET. Play non-white non-anime characters and you're a SJW trying too hard to be "woke". Autistic is used as an insult fairly often.

Which is another facet of DWRP to consider: the weird hatred of other DWRPers everyone in DWRP has. You're a NEET, a neckbeard, a basement dweller, a wage cuck, a fast food cuck, etc. The anon gossip communities get way, way more activity per day than any of the actual game communities do. Gossip about people regularly runs dry, so instead discussion is rehashed of people who were subjects of previous wank/gossip, sometimes including people who played during the LJ era and never played on DreamWidth because they left when the mass migration to DW happened. I have seen people get accused of being another player who was the subject of wank returning for having the same given name as someone who was the subject of wank circa 2006. People are that level of desperate to get some excitement going among their small circle of friends who want there to be A Big Deal (TM) of some kind going on.

Fandom DW is far from perfect but I would highly recommend, even if you're bored, sticking to it and not DWRP. RP on there is a much more conservative (but identifying as "centrist", for some reason) environment and if you're reading this blog, my guess is you don't think trans headcanons are the work of transtrenders woke-ifying fandom and it's not gross neckbeard behavior for a lesbian to write a lesbian character. If so, this is definitely not your scene.

Activity is not the same thing as a fandom place being good.

Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki is Migrating to Miraheze!

Been a while since I made an actual original post, and not sure how many of my original followers are still here (or even care about this kind of thing, considering I'm mainly a politics blog nowadays, but you know, this is basically the only social media platform I have anymore, not counting Discord).

Anyway, for the past few years, I've picked up a CN -> EN fan translating hobby and have been sporadically translating some vocal synth songs, posted at my own Wordpress as well as the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki. Those who were in the fandom in the 2010s have probably heard of the wiki before, since it was basically the main hub of translation activity back then.

Well, almost fifteen years later, it's still going strong! And, with recent changes in implementation to Fandom policy, the wiki has finally decided to throw off the shackles of Fandom webhosting and move to Miraheze instead. I'll copy-paste the blurb I wrote for other vocal synth wiki discord servers about this:

Hi, so some folks might be aware of this already, but Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki has migrated to a new site on Miraheze. The admins of VLW has written a Google Doc explaining in detail the whys of the migration, if you want to check it out, but the long and short of it is that the new policy on lyrics removal has made our stay on Fandom untenable. Miraheze, in contrast, has agreed to host us and been much more transparent on actual policy. And, since they're on a newer MediaWiki installation with much more freedom in terms of what extensions we can install, we've been able to implement new templates and quality of life improvements on the new wiki! There's still a few kinks to work out on the new wiki, but we're open for editing now! Feel free to spread this message to other relevant servers/websites (with the exception of the old Fandom wiki -- the admins are planning on making an announcement themselves over there, once they're ready). And if you have any further questions, you can join our Discord or comment on our General Discussion page on the new wiki.

I am 100% biased because I helped with the migration (and have been wanting to move off Fandom for ages now), but I think the new site looks great!! And if anyone ever visited the old site and went "wow Fandom sucks, clicking back immediately", now you don't have to do that!

MY NEW LAPTOP WAS ORDERED YESTERDAY AND SHOULD BE HERE SOON! It’s a TUF gaming laptop, hopefully it will run better than my old one. Games to play on it should be easier, and I should be able to move files over to this new one. For that matter due to the new equipment upgrade I probably won’t be doing asks for a bit. Maybe till Friday. Laptop should be here tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully things will work out. I will however work a bit on the other blog and FIIIINALLY get things going again. So can check that out while I busy with stuff. And no worries, all the files I have are just my blogs stuff and the games I have are on steam and other game site so the migration for all my needed stuff should be fine. I can’t believe I just went through all 600+ pages of your blog, lmao. Where did you find all this stuff? I go out looking for league content on tumblr and barely find anything. I can’t tell if it’s because Arcane has oversaturated everything, or if the league fandom is just way smaller than it used to be…

I find a lot of these posts through blog jumping (I forgot the word for it, but basically going through past reblogs from other blogs). However, it's very difficult to do because: (1) people don't often tag things (2) poorly-aged jokes/memes

You're correct that it's difficult to find league content. While it is tied to the oversaturation of Arcane, it includes the fact that Tumblr is burying old posts in favor of making current-fandom-content more available.

And many users migrated onto Twitter (and refuse to come to Tumblr due to lack of engagement, but that's another can of worms to open; In 2013, you could get the SAME # of reblogs and likes on a 100-notes post. Today, new artists are lucky to get 10+ likes and 2+ reblogs on art).

Honestly, you'd be surprised how small the tumblr league (non-arcane) fandom is today !! Only a few blogs will create league-specific posts for their fave set of characters and certain tags don't update daily (Unless, the character got a new skin or attracts the attention of Arcane fans).
