Growth.

A journey that can easily become frustrating, especially seeing others in a position you wish to be in. Comparison really is the thief of joy and can be hard to avoid even subconsciously, as we indulge in the world of social media. Growth is a journey very different for each individual and just like flowers, we all have our own time to bloom.

March is here and the theme for me is growth. Not entirely sure how yet or when, but I'm looking forward to using this month to bloom into the flower I'm meant to be 🌸

I have an obsession with time. I collect minutes on the back of taxis and in the middle of group conversations, all to get better at writing. My thoughts are always buzzing but are careful around other people. I construct a new syntax, play with haikus, all in the back of a classroom. I have an obsession with watching hours add up. I do this so carefully and so thoughtfully that I’m not much else. I look at life through a filter of words, grammar and syntaxes. The world has been magnified to this, or minimized at times.

It means that I love You more, because You become a muse. And being a muse is to be glorified, glamorized. You are all of these things to me. Your bleeding sun and your cloudy thoughts matter more to me than they would have to anyone else. Ultimately though, when magnifying You doesn’t feel accurate, I minimize. And You dull out.

I hope you enjoyed.
