"i'm home.." you called out tiredly, taking off your shoes and hanging your coat.

"welcome back, hun!" satoru responded from the kitchen. "how was work?" he asked.

"tiring. the curse was annoying, kept splitting into smaller versions of itself when i tried attacking it." you said, walking behind him and wrapping your arms around his waist, leaning into his back.

"yeah, i bet.." he started, almost done preparing the meal. "how 'bout you shower and we can eat and watch a movie or something. what was that one you wanted to watch? lala loopsy, or something?" he continued.

"lala land?" you asked?

"yeah, yeah! that one! is it any good?" he responded.

"i don't know satoru, i haven't seen it either." you say with a laugh "let's watch it together after i shower." you add, pulling away.

"okay, i'll be done by then." satoru responds.

after showering, you both finish your meal and watch the movie.

"ooh, i've heard this song before!" satoru exclaims, upon hearing mia and sebastian's theme.

"yeah, me too, i like it." you say, already feeling tired, you had a long day after all. you lean towards satoru to rest your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes for a bit.

"falling asleep already? you're the one who wanted to watch this." he said, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and pulling you closer.

"i'm just resting my eyes." you explain with a yawn.

that was a lie. fifteen minutes later and you were out cold, the events from the day taking a toll on your body.

upon noticing, satoru pulls the blanket to wrap around you and rests his head on yours. "g'night hun." he whispers, deciding to finish the movie on his own.

Kemarin sore lagi main sama Lala sama papanya di kamar. Ternyata lala ambil pensil alis aku dan coba matahin , padahal pensil alis baru tuh.. ak nya pas lagi ngga merhatiin lala. Happy spooky month!!! And also monthly updateeee. Sooo i’m probably not seeing gnr in concert sadly i was supposed to see them on the 8th but my grades aren’t good enough sadly. Ooh, I know a good one to watch: Murder By Numbers. It’s one of Ryan’s first films, I think. It IS rated R, tho, so I’m not sure if you have rules about R-rated movies. But if you’re allowed, it’s a pretty decent movie.

That one post about how you're one "le" away from calling someone a whore is like. 90% wrong? Like just untrue. The "fille" thing is blatantly untrue. Using that word to mean prostitute is extremely rare, it's very old, it would have been used at the same time as other definitions anyway, it's extremely dependent on context and it has nothing to do with putting "la" before the word or not.

"Je suis fille de boulanger" is not inappropriate at all, it's a woman of any age being most likely really proud of her baker lineage.

Chat is masculine, so you wouldn't say "la chat". How hard is it to Google it to check before making an uninformed claim,

And what else was there? Oh right. "Je suis excité(e)" can mean both "I'm excited" and "I'm horny". Telling your students "ooh lala you're saying you're horny!!" is basically equivalent to ordinary sexual harassment that often presents itself when men purposefully ignore the obvious context to claim you meant it in the sexy way. English even has a rough equivalent to this with "being hot".

Coup de fou doesn't exist and was just a Google translate quirk. Coup de foutre WOULD translate to cum shot but it also doesn't really exist as something that people would say

I was commissioned to create two paintings of Marianne and Héloïse :D The artwork will be used as the front and back covers for her personal copy of the POALOF unofficial French-English transcript. The translation was a collab project by the awesome peeps of the Portrait fandom, and I bet you know who they are! ^^ Ok they are @ladyonfire28 , @mlleclaudine , @pensoakspaper and @morningmightcomebyaccident !

I took inspiration from the bonfire and magic cut scenes leading to Le Cave. :D Marianne has this forlorn expression on her face - the same expression that she has as in the scene with the final painting - where they both stand together in front of it. She takes in everything that she can as she looks at Héloïse and contemplates. It's the beginning of the end.
