thoughts on the fionna and cake ending

-it was a bit boring. ok not Boring just, not on the same level as all the other eps? especially not on the same level as the previous two (the star+jerry). like it was more of a Cake the Cat ep. it was fine just not world shattering and thats fine ig

-that being said the casper&nova scenes were sooooo boring i couldnt care less. it kinda made me feel like they wanted to show shermy and beth but didnt know how so they just made up whatever??? it wouldve been cool to see more of future Ooo instead of. whatever that was. they couldve made the parallel to simon and betty some other way. or even if they absolutely Needed to show thay weird video game they couldve made it like one scene and shorter lol. tho the detail of it had being astrid that started the story was cute

-i actually liked the resolution to betty and simons relationship. again they couldve shown More of it instead of it just having like, one scene, but i liked how they did it. getting them back together in a fairytail Everything Works Out And Theyre Happy Ever After!!!! wouldve completely taken away from how tragic their entire story is, but making something even worse happen wouldve just made simon feel worse and his character development wouldnt.... exist much lol. having simon come to terms with it, SEND HIM TO THERAPY THANK FUCK and try to move on w his life is exactly what i was hoping for

and i looooove how they portrayed their relationship. ive seen ppl be mad ab it but like didnt yall like that is was codependent and insane and they were obsessed w each other to the point theyd destroy their life for one another? OBVIOUSLY its going to be unhealthy. thats not saying simon is a bad person, or that they didnt love each other. they obviously did. simon loved betty more than anything. but he was selfish. unintentionally, yeah, he didnt realize how dependent/obsessed she was with him and that she just went along with anything he did which i dont feel its his fault, but it still happened, and it still affected her, it made her get deeper into that. its a new spin on their relationship that feels really real and i really like that. yeah turns out that when ppl are so obsessed w someone that they go insane and almost destroy the world twice thats probably indicative thay theres something wrong there who wouldve thought!!!!

adventure time is The "people have flaws" show (bonnie, marcy, finn, jake, etc etc all the characters are shown to be selfish sometimes snd to varying degrees! and theyre all still good people! theyre still just people) so it feels a bit insane to see ppl acting like the show saying "simon too btw" means theyre portraying him as irredemably bad

-i didnt want the fionna world to completely change and go back to bein magic but i was at least hoping the characters world :( like a "modern with magic" situation it wouldve been cool. and the farm/baby/vampworld characters coming in felt a bit random but like eh sure whatever

-IM SO PISSED FIONNA DIDNT LOSE HER ARM

-i dont think the lack of resolution in all the universes we visited was a bad thing? like i dont even feel like its "lack or resolution" i just felt like. thats how the stories were meant to be told. we come into a world that has nothing to do with us and then we leave them behind, yk? its not our world so we just pass by and dont know how it ends. leave it up to imagination. i thought it was cool we dont need to know Everything

-we shouldve seen marcy and simon interacting when he got back. even if it was just like a interaction without dialogue in some sort of epilogue sequence theyre so incredibly important to each others story and the show even made sure to show us that and we get nothing????? the lack of a scene where he talks to her about how hes feeling and how he almost put on the crown again felt so!! FRUSTATING. the scene in ep two where he calls her even felt like it was setting up for a scene like that! im so mad we got nothing. like i understand the adventure time market is flooded with marceline so maybe they didnt want to focus on her much but still theyre too linked for that relationship to get completely ignored in the Last Fucking Episode of the show

-the implication of fern/phoebe made me pause the episode and stare at a wall for a moment. auaugh.

Chapter Five: Picnic In The Park 🧺

Y/N had found the family pretty quickly, Han and Seungmin were playfully fighting off to the side of where the family sat. The girl could see Innie and Binnie talking - awkwardly, she should add - while the grandparents were keeping the little ones happy. In the middle sat the mothers, gossiping as usual. Y/N made a beeline for them, though she did say her hellos to everyone else; giving the kids their madatory cuddles before sitting herself down in the middle of the two ladies.

"Y/N!" Hyuna exclaimed, arms open for a hug. Lina smiled at the pair, happy to see the girl comfortable with them.

"How has it been these past few days?" Lina questioned, Y/N explained her whereabouts during her time off and the three woman fell back into the previous conversation. Y/N took this time to look around, Lixie and Chris had been playing tag with the elders but were know quite happily playing together and their toys which were a mix of dinosaurs, dolls and one very ragged looking wolf teddy which she knew to be Lixies's - a present upon birth from her Uncle Han. Y/N's eyes drifted over towards Innie who was now pointing towards the tub of food in front of her, Binnie gave her a questioning look while reaching for the tub. Y/N couldn't see what was inside from where she was sitting but knew it to be the extra food Innie had mentioned to her a few days prior. The babysitter couldnt help but giggle at the scene, attracting the attention of Hyuna and Lina who looked around towards Innie and Binnie. A sigh left Hyuna's lips as Lina laughed,

"That boy..." Hyuna trailed off, Lina scoffed,

"Don't think its all his fault, Innie thinks its fun to lead people on - she's always done it. Can't take her anywhere." the women finished her sentence with a shake of her head. The three woman laughed to themselves,

"I remember this one guy at school - his name was Beomgyu - he acted like a lost puppy around her. I mean he wasn't the only one, every guy in our year seemed to have a thing for her back then..." Y/N trailed off, realising what she had just said - Lina raised an eyebrow,

"Takes after her older sister obviously." they laughed as Y/N started again,

"The guy I mentioned, he was really sweet and was never weird about it unlike some of the boys, but - bless his heart - he would do literally anything Innie asked of him. We kinda made it into a game and in the end we felt so bad about it Innie asked him on a date, which sounds bad but he seemed to have a good time and I think he had an idea it would be a one time thing." Hyuna couldnt help but smile at that,

"I hope he didnt take any of it to heart!" Y/N shrugged,

"I mean he was still our friend afterwards, and we see each other occasionally out and about and always stop to chat so I dont think he took any of it to heart. Though both of us still feel bad about it, he seems to have moved on - I think he's got a boyfriend now and lives in his own place so he's doing better then us." the laugh she let out was pitiful but the two older women decided against questioning it.

"Have you gotten anyone with potential in your radar?" Lina questioned, a teasing expression on her face. Y/N laughed,

"Uh, well..." she paused trying to find the correct words - an eyebrow was raised by Hyuna, "yeah. I've been talking to this guy I met at uni."

"Ooo!" Lina cooed, Hyuna wiggled her eyebrows in reponse,

"Any potetnial?" Hyuna asked, Y/N shyly smiled,

"Maybe, I'll show you what he looks like one sec." she got out her phone, searching his name on instagram before turning her phone so the two ladies could see.

Eyes widen instantly,

"Wow! He's definitly got a lot of potential in the looks department!" Hyuna whistled, Lina nodded in agreement.

"Is he good to you though? Like does he look after you well?" Lina spoke in a serious tone, Y/N nodded

"Yeah he's so sweet, we're actaully going out tomorrow for a date."

"Good! Where are you going huh?" Hyuna teased, serious moment over.

"He told me it's a surprise but I should wear the dress he got for me." gasps from the women beside her,

"He bought you a dress?" came from Hyuna,

"Was it the right size?" came from Lina.

"He did, it was in the womans section of one of the collections he was a model for, he's really good friends with the designer so managed to get it before the release and yes it was the correct size, why wouldn't it be?" Y/N was a little confused by Lina's comment - why would someone buy you something you couldn't wear?

"Men aren't typically good at sizes or buying clothes in general." Lina side-eyed her husband as se spoke. Hyuna laughed, nodding in agreement.

"Han... tries. He never quite gets there though - and don't get me started on him trying to guess the sizes of lingerie..." Y/N couldn't help but laugh at the comment, she couldn't imagine either husband was great with anything like that.

At that point in converstaion Innie had made her way over to the trio, sitting down with a huff,

"Having a hard time chasing this one away?" Lina teased, her younger sister just rolled her eyes in response.

"Binnie has never outwardly taken interest in anyone before, I wonder why that has changed." Hyuna thought out loud, the three other women hummed in agreement.

"What were you guys talking about anyway?" Innie asked,

"Han buying lingerie." Y/N spoke bluntly, wanting to see her best friends reaction to such sentance. Innie's face screwed up in disgust,

"Ew." the trio in front of her fell into laughter. Lina managed to sober first,

"That and Y/N potential future husband..." Y/N showed an embaressed face,

"Future huband is a little to far in the future, Lina!" she exclaimed.

"You told them about Mingi?" Y/N nodded at her best friends question, "He would have to fumble the bag sooooo hard if he doesn't turn out to be your future husband!"

"Your babies would look gorgeous!" Hyuna squealed,

"Omg yes! Squishy little cheeks and handsome eyes!" Lina added, Innie laughed while Y/N couldn't help but roll her eyes at their fantasies. A small voice then spoke up,

"Y/N is having a baby?" Chris looked like he was about to cry, as Lixie looked over confused,

"If you have a baby does that mean you won't be playing with us anymore?" tears evident in the small girls eyes.

"Oh! Chris, Lixie! No, Y/N isn't having a baby yet. Don't worry about that, she'll be around to play with you for a long time!" Lina spoke as the two kids fell into her arms, tears now rolling down their faces. Y/N decided to put their worries to rest herself,

"Even if I was pregnant and had a baby, I would still come play with you guys, but I think by the time I do have children you guys wouldn't want to play anymore - especially not with me!" The two children shook thier heads, now falling into her arms,

"We would want to play with you forever, Y/N!" Chris said, rubbing his eyes, a small "Yeah!" fell from Lixie's mouth.

"Well then, we'll play forever." and with a couple of nods the kids started to fall asleep in her arms.

"I think it's time for a nap and then we'll eat." Hyuna spoke, everyone nodded as the family let the children sleep a little longer.

Y/N wouldn't leave them for the world!

- his home is custom bulit to him. everything is like 2 feet taller than it would be for somebosy in averge height. somebody (me) said it reminds them of jack and the bean stalk and he doubled over laughing

- kiri and tamaki come over to watch cooking show because one he wouldnt be able to fit as comfortably at their dorms, and two because he got a big ass tv and watching on his tv is so much better, and he got snacks out the ass.  im talking pantry overflowing, with everything. tama used to the system but kiri swears he could get lost in it

- im sorry but, he can only cook stroke inducing food. which makes sense for quirk and what not but dont eat it unless you trying to put yourself in an early in a early grave. smothered everything, if its baked, best believe it was fired first. cheesy everythinggggg like omg, i still love him tho

- his favorite food shows be the baking shows, especially Cupcake Wars. he gets up-fucking-set if his favortite contestant loses or gets kicked off before the finalem hes gonna be talking about it for the rest of the week about how unfair it was and the judges didnt know what they were talking about because how could they not win. 

- relationships hcs or what not

- ahhhhhhh love language is most definitely acts of service and quality time. he livesss for when he got a second to just hold you, or be in your presence. it just so calming to him, the acts of service parts is bringing you food to try. ooo when he went on a mission outside of Esuha City he sends you a selfie with  e v e r y new food/ drink he tries on his mission. so expect a lot of of pictures and sometimes videos from him

- top tier cuddles in that giantic ass bed. and he has a weighted blanket with a big ass fan AND black out curtains ????? need i say more

- drags you down into his baking show addiction, but yall always tend to go for the rivals. so yall make bets on who’s gonna last longer. right now you’re winning 7 - 6 

- but you watch Extreme Cake Makers and write down recpies you wanna try and little things the contestant did so you could test it out. so you have notes deicted to ths and you sometimes go back and rewatch episodes to catch small stuff that you missed. he lovess when you get like this all nerdy and focused, it soo cute ugh. 

- likes to take you through the city at night because its look pretty at night when its lit up. you take a lot of pictures of bridges and in front of different signs and stuff

- omg, if you just so happen to walk past the shower whiles he in there singing his heart out, he’s gonna stop singing and say “take it away babe”. 

- a sucker for your southern nicknames. all the sugar, sweetness, bubs/bubba, honey. say anyyy of these and this man is at your feetready to do anything and everything just to hear you call him that again

- baby be feening for thanksgiving and christmas to come around. first time he was on a long mission, was gone for a week and came back on thanksgiving eve to see that you were cooking up a feast, he was so happy he cried.

don't recall if you ever elaborated but how long do blue's relationships usually last

ooo good question i dont think i have! id say typically as an average (so there were many that were shorter) prooobably a few months for actual committed relationships, anything casual can range longer bcuz there isn’t as many expectations for him lol. he’s not very good at committing or being there for people emotionally (or physically, hes gone a lot w his job) he’s not rly empathetic and he can get rly stuck in his head and self obsessed. he leans more towards casual relationships bcuz hes self aware enough to realize his behavior and wants in general w relationships r not conducive for healthy committed relationships but hes fighting thru a lot of conflicting instincts in them and it tends to bring up a lot of shit w his background or his own problems he doesnt want to deal with (and it inevitably blows up in his face)

his longest 'it went for at least a couple years without a breakup' relationship was with his bands original bassist but they were really young when they dated like, late teens, very early twenties, somewhere around there. she was his first relationship and a lot of shit happened though and he broke up w her and it kinda turned him off from serious relationships. im keeping it vague not only for spoilers but bcuz i know what kind of route i want to take with it but im not sure how implied vs very obvious i want to go with it yet

his longest relationship Now as an adult solidly in his 20s is probably his and elle’s on-again off-again thing, i dunno the exact timeline for the longest they’ve been together before they broke up again but id assume probably smth like six months to a year (a year feels like its stretching it but ill be generous), though they’ve had their Thing going on for a few years at least at this point though. on again off again yknow. theyve had months to maybe even a year in between seeing each other sometimes. but that’s not the norm for him bcuz when they get back together he does actually want to try to some extent, however long that feeling of wanting to make more of an effort lasts before they both get frustrated again lol

anyway hes like capable of longer lasting relationships just him or the other person/people didnt want it to/werent rly ready for it to get serious, or he makes bad decisions and he also makes bad decisions in who he chooses to date sometimes where they just dont Work and no amount of forcing it is gonna make it happen. or he loses interest in ppl or the relationship quickly.or he thinks damn i just wanted to have a fwb or something actually but now i got myself into this whole relationship and i dont actually want to date them. he also just isnt a very good communicator so to him smth that wasnt supposed to be serious can feel a lot more serious to whatever person/people he was with and he gets himself into shit for it, or vice versa bcuz other ppl r often not good communicators too, etc etc. so in tldr: USUALLY NOT VERY LONG. LOL

Just finishing his story, I feel like it was kinda rushed towards the end in a way? if that makes sense, like it just grazed over his story and not going into depth compared to riddles, like riddles i really felt like i was put on a bed of needles while having to recite the alphabet that shit hurt hurt and then for leona, i felt bad for him but not tear jerking oh my gad take my money type sad, but its okay bc i still love him and will still throw money at him. Lore week day 4:I didn’t understand it then, but thank you, dad.

I looked at the pink dress on my bed. Pink wasn’t as bad as white, but I still didn’t like it. Hey, it’s better than that awful shade I used to like. White. But now they compare whiteness to purity. People who wear black or have black features are awful. And they murder people. And stab them in the stomach after going insane. The cat, Vinum, meowed at the door, and I opened it to let him in.

"Hi, baby," I said, making sure to close the door before saying it. They didn’t like when I babied him. They said they got him the same day they signed my adoption papers. Vinum, or Vinny, meowed and pawed at my ankles until I picked him up. He licked my face, and I shoved his little head away. He purred, touching my hand. I giggled a bit, and then I heard that awful pig voice.

"Mary, honey, you need to hurry up. Uncle Dave will be here, and you need to look pretty." I nodded, though she couldn’t see it. Ooo, shiny. I shook my head. She couldn’t see through the door. If she could, that would be worse. Oh, what’s that on the floor? I shook my head again before yelling back, “YES, MOMMY!”

I hated that word. If I could hate anything, it would be that word. Who is she to think she’s my mom? She’s not. And she waved Penelope’s and the other four people's deaths off as a freak accident. I called her scum. What’s the word again? Whatever. I will find out one day. I finished tying the annoying little bow. Ugh, I hate Uncle Dave. He’s so touchy, and it makes me uncomfortable. She, Lilly, turns it away because he’s her brother. What he is is weird. Penelope told me that it was not right for a man to love a child.

I gazed at myself in the full-length mirror. My weirdly red hair finally reached my ears. I had eye bags—heavy ones at that—but they were mostly covered up by the mountains of makeup Lilly put on me. I swear my skin tone had lightened with the fact she put makeup on my arms and legs to lighten it. And I swear, what was she on? Because fox spears? What? Why would you dress an 11-year-old in makeup and a dress that all too well fits her young form and reaches way too far? 

THIS DRESS HIT HER CALVES. HER CALVES. Yeah, she’s 11, but her calves? She’s pretty sure it drags on the ground.

Vinny rubs against her legs, bringing her back to the living world, and she hears Lilly yell again, “UNCLE DAVE IS HERE!” She yelled. Oh, wait. He’s here. She opened the door to leave, and Vinny followed her like a duckling. 

As she enters the kitchen from the hallway, she spots him. Old. Smelly. Crinkly. Uncle Dave. Fat as well, but shhhh, everyone’s “equal” to us. Well, to her, probably not them, but... She smiles innocently at him.

“Hi, Uncle Davey.” Someone killed her. He smiled so creepily at her. Lilly set a bowl of grapes in front of him, and he popped one in his mouth, chewing. He turned back to her.

“So, little mouse, what has been going on with you?” He asked, acting like he wasn’t staring at her. It made her want to crawl out of her skin. He popped another grape in his mouth. 

She didn’t see his jaw move. I must have decided it was small enough to just swallow. But she was wrong. His face started to turn blue, and he started to choke. Lilly rushed back into the room and patted his back frantically.

“Dave, what’s happened?” She turned back to me and asked the same question.

“What happened?” I looked up at her and spoke.

The sirens were loud, to say the least. They blared in her ears. He was already too far gone by the time the ambulances got there. Her adoptive parents were crying, and they let her go back to her room. She later lay on the bed, and Vinny lay beside her.

Fantasy au designs and lore post!!

So~ here are my fantasy au designs and some good old character lore!

There will be another post for plot, but here’s the link to the main worldbuilding and lore post.

Jeanist:

So, Tsunagu is half elf, half star fae, and is an elven prince.

His father was an elven king, his mother was a star fae queen.

His father found her fleeing from the village they were destroying, had a change of heart when he saw her (fell in love ooo)

He kept her safe in the palace and tried to convince the others to stop their fae-hunting and let them live in peace but they eventually rebelled against him

They had twins, Tsunagu and his sister. His mother was said to just be a "very magical elf witch" to protect them all

One day, mother got killed and Tsu’s father found her and raised the children by himself

Over time, the king had to tell them about who they were in order for them to hide it so they stayed safe

Unfortunately, darkness took over their kingdom, a dark elf (evil one, very bad) came and killed their father, taking over the kingdom and planting himself as king

Tsunagu follows orders and goes with all the dark and cruel things he says and does in order to keep his sister safe

His sister looked after a crystal necklace, given to them by their mother. She gives it to Tsunagu one day, and tells him to find the piece that it has been split from (it was in a very certain shape, making it clear it had been forcefully split in half - they didnt know what it was) 

This means he follows orders to lead an army into a forest to find and raid one of the last big fae kingdoms

He wields incredibly strong light magic, and can summon special kinds of plants and vines in particular. Isn't great at healing, but he is learning.

His star fae marking is on his neck, which he hides with his clothes and concealing magic.

His sword holds a star beacon piece and was giften to him by his father.

He is nicknamed "the blessed prince" bc of his strong magic

Is afraid of revealing who he is because of how fast star fae (even part star fae) get hunted.

Edgeshot:

Shinya is fully Star Fae, and is the King of one of the last biggest Fae Kingdoms.

Born to the last star fae village, fled when it was destroyed. He was a small child and his parents had been captured

He got taken in by a close (regular) fae kingdom, and the king and queen protected him and raised him as their own alongside their daughter. (hana - my pink fairy sister oc)

((i should mention that he had wings. A lot of Star fae do.))

One day, when he was like- a teenager, the kingdom was attacked and the king was killed, the queen fell ill shortly after and died

Shinya lost his wings protecting his new sister, and eventually the attackers retreated

She appointed Shinya as the new king, because he had shown that he would protect their people and that is how he became king (at a young age)

Him being star fae also meant that his magic could create a protective bubble against the dark, protecting his people

He holds the other half to Tsunagu's piece of the Fallen Star crystal. It was split many many years ago, where two star fae lovers were drawn apart. They split the crystal piece into two, so that they could find each other again.

(unfortunately they never did, but ig maybe they had this chance in a new life ;) )

Naturally, he has strong light magic and can use it to heal very well and create flowers and new sprouts.

He seems incredibly cold and kinda harsh at first, but he's just very protective of his people.

His people do know that he is a Star Fae, but there is a sort of like- vow- for it to never be told to anyone else. (and they are more than happy to not say anything, shinya keeps em safe they like him lol)

Short "how they meet" and their dynamic:

Tsunagu stumbles across the kingdom and gets greeted (at knifepoint) by Shinya at the river bordering the kingdom.

Tsunagu does not want to hurt fae, but he is kinda with an army of elves searching for that very village- so he doesn't believe him.

(even though he was actually looking for the village to warn them all)

He gets knocked out and taken to the fae kingdom, and he wakes up tied to a chair in the middle of a hall like “okay- i was willing to come here why did i get knocked out :(”

Cue Shinya making his proper entrance in his regal clothes and Tsunagu maybe stops functioning for a minute bc god damn he's Hot.

Interrogations.

Elves are approaching too close and so Tsunagu begs for him to let him go talk to them and so he (reluctantly) does.

Tsu tells them to return to camp. And so he goes off with them, leaving the fae kingdom safe

their dynamic is basically just:

"enemies to lovers" but they're only enemies because they're supposed to be and - "I don't trust you, get out." "you...you strapped me to this chair- i don't wanna kill you??"

Aizawa:

Aizawa is a human with no magic. He is an assassin and a ranger.

What he doesn't know, is that he has some royal blood - but he doesn't care about that when he does find out.

His mother was a maid in a small human kingdom, and she got pregnant by one of the princes in the palace she worked at. She ran away to be safe

A kind fae witch took her in and Shouta was born, but shortly after, she died of illness

The fae witch raised him enough for him to provide for himself and left him in a bigger human kingdom (it wasn't safe and his mother had asked her to do this)

He grew up not understanding why he had been abandoned and survived by scavenging and roaming around.

He met Hizashi as a kid, and they became friends, until the two kingdoms fell apart and he could no longer see him.

As he grew older, he became an assassin -not by choice- and started going on dangerous missions for the human kingdom.

(i haven't decided what his piece should be yet, but I'll figure it out soon /lh)

Since he has no magic, he fights physically very well and with short sharp weapons.

Mic:

Hizashi is an elven prince, and is constantly kept inside and not allowed to leave the kingdom without close supervision

His fathers are very overprotective but caring, but he gets really bored and wants to explore

(even though he is. terrified. of the outside world.)

When he was a kid, he met Aizawa and they became best friends.

When they separated, he gave Shouta his crystal necklace as their "Promise" that they would get back to each other some day

He grows up and grows into his princely duties, but part of him still wondered if Shouta was still alive.

He wields relatively strong light magic and can use it to manipulate the breeze as his strong point

How they meet in the main plot and dynamic:

Shouta gets sent on a mission to assassinate Hizashi, basically, and he sets off knowing fully well that he could not do this, and that this was the time he runs away

He prays that he will remember him

Climbs into his window and, of course, we have a classic "who tf are you and how are you in my bedroom?????" moment

Until Shouta very quickly reveals his face, they have a short sweet reunion, and he explains they have to leave.

Mic agrees within seconds and just whips out his readily-packed-in-case-of-running-away-emergency bag, and off they go

Shouta returns the necklace in a very emotional sweet moment a few days later when they are safe, and they are now just on the run and out in the wild, happily

Childhood friends to lovers - "You came back...thank you" "I promised, didn't I?"

(aka i give them enough angst in my canon hcs and other aus they deserve this one)

Powerloader:

(if it's not already known, Higari gets all my favourite tropes and design elements all the time- i swear its not favouritism, i swear shush shush /lh)

Higari is half dwarf, half dragon shifter.

He is an exiled dwarven general and a blacksmith :)

His mother was a dragon shifter that got captured by his father (a dwarven warrior). He was an asshole haha a bastard, a complete awful fuck-

Anyway his mother got pregnant with him and managed to run away for a bit and entrusted him to a lovely couple that looked after her before she was captured for good.

Higari was raised as a “dwarf” by the lovely couple that owned a smithy. They told him who he was and everything. He disguised himself as a full dwarf and grew up like that.

Eventually he got into the dwarven army, becoming one of the strongest generals.

(he just claimed that he had distant fae ancestors, which was the reason for some of his non-dwarf-like features)

But, one day they wanted to send them out on a mission to capture dragon shifters to use them to look for gold.

He outright refused in front of the king, the other soldiers and everyone. He refused by basically just stepping down right then and there. Obviously he couldn't say why, but he could not take these warriors to kill/capture innocents (like his mother)

He got ridiculed for this and exiled.

He cannot enter the palace, he cannot fight, and if he leaves the kingdom he can't return

Higari is honestly fine with this, he goes back to the smithy and just lives an easy life. Being half dragon shifter makes that not so easy, but as easy as he could.

Uses very strong and particular dark magic, and can sense magic and treasures and all sorts of those things.

His axe holds a piece of the beacon and he made it himself

When he was exiled, his Axe was taken from him and was gifted to another dwarven king as a "peace" offering

Since he is both dragon shifter and dwarf, he can make The Strongest Weapons in almost no time :)

His eyes give away his dragon shifter self, and he wears those lil metal claw things to cover up dark markings on his fingertips

Is the embodiment of Identity Crisis in this au <3

The soliders that followed him and agreed with him also got exiled. (his two children- i mean, closest friends and soldiers are thirteen and cementoss)

He doesn't know how to shift into a dragon

Ectoplasm:

Oh boy, here we go... /lh

Ecto is an elf, an elven prince to a lovely (and the least problematic) elven kingdom.

He used light magic and was a strong fighter and was often leading any battles that needed to be fought, but well, one day in these battles:

He died :)

They couldn’t find his body, but he did die.

Parents and kingdom are left to mourn him after the battle, and his good ol bestie snipe doesnt wanna believe that hes dead. (this is purely out of denial, he knows he is dead.)

Ecto wakes up in a dark cave-like room, very confused as to where he was and how he got there.

Turns out he got revived by a soulwatcher, but he didnt know why. The soulwatcher simply explained that a time would come where he would understand, but it was important that he was revived.

A few weeks pass and ecto finds out more about himself. 

He lost his legs, those apparently couldn't be replaced. He died, but he was now alive. He had skeletal features….

And he was now a wielder of dark magic instead of light magic. A certain type of dark magic too, one that he didn't fully understand.

The soulwatcher taught him the basics and how to conceal himself to look like how he used to. 

He was going to go back home and act like nothing happened, and that he was okay.

Snipe found him and was like “okay- man- i know i said i wasn’t believing you were dead but you literally got stabbed in front of me why are you alive???”

He explains everything to him bc….besties /lh and they return home.

Everyone rejoices and everything returns to how it was, except he pretends that his magic is weaker bc of the injury so he doesnt use it (bc haha dark magic now)

The soulwatcher gave him a staff with a certain crystal in the end of it. He simply said “it'll come in useful” and ecto has to just explain that a kind wizard healed him and gave it to him to help him get around.

His usual legs are made of wood but enchanted with dark magic to make them look and act normal. He had to explain that to his parents and they were like ????

And his face appears normal to others bc of magic

But (like in the designs) unmasked Ecto has shadow magic legs and his skeletal face <3

Since he is now a soulwatcher, he gets random visions and can interact with the dead.

How they met and dynamic:

Ecto's kingdom was visiting Higari's and Ecto's sword breaks during training but no royal blacksmiths can fix it bc it's "too difficult" (elvish and magic blade)

He ends up going for a walk and a civilian tells him about Higari's smithy so he goes in

Higari takes his sword and says it'll be an easy fix, and that he should come back in a day. Ecto is shocked but happily obliges.

Higari instantly knows that something is off and can sense the dark magic both on him and the sword

He also kinda fixes it immediately with the help of his own dark magic

They meet up the next evening when Ecto comes to pick up his sword, can't find Higari, walks into a lil training area around the back and almost gets hit by an axe that Higari threw at him on instinct

They have a slightly ??? dynamic, idk how to label it - "You've got secrets, should I trust you as much as I am right now?" "You also have secrets...let's figure them out together"

but also

"everyone thinks i kidnapped you D:" "but you didn't?? This was my idea???"

The characters get to go on their own separate journeys and adventures, and they all lead to the same point in the end! The journeys and bonds they make separately all contribute to the shared goal of saving the world from darkness :D

I wanted to do more characters (in particular: all three of mirukyubami, hawks, thirteen and cementoss) but this is already long as it is so just these guys for now!

I vaguely remember you mention a ceo/assistant or like a boss/secretary au and I thought what about big scary boss/ceo Lewis who’s secretly his secretary’s sub

Ooo yes!!!! We definitely don't talk about sub!Lewis enough, so this is brilliant, and I love this au so much.

Everyone is always saying how you have the best job, because Lewis treats you so well, far better than he treats anyone else in the company. Lewis isnt a bad boss, not at all, but Lewis is a whole other level with you.

Of course they have no idea that the reason why is because you're actually Lewis's dominant.

Lewis will literally do whatever you ask. Anything. You need him at work at 5am? Done. You need him to book a first class ticket to turkey? Done. Need his credit card? Done.

He trusts you completely. He takes care of the business and in return, you take care of him. Anything that you could ever want or need is yours.

He knows that usually the Doms provide for the subs, but to Lewis it's his job to provide for you because you take care of him. He can't remember the last time he had to worry about being on time for something, fitting a workout into his day, having three meals, making appointments, taking care of his own mental health, etc. He literally would not be able to function without you.

And of course this means that you do some kinky things during what is technically office hours, but oh well.

Honestly Lewis thrived during the pandemic, working from home with you? Incredible. Half the time he was working at home you didnt even let him wear clothes, and he was having the time of his life.

Even now that's back in the office, he will regularly call you for a 'schedule meeting' which just means he wants attention from his dom and so you must come in and help him.

kamen rider REVIEW!!!

i was gonna do this on twitter but twitter is dead now. anyway i decided when i finished ryuki i would review every kr i’ve watched so far so here it is. no spoilers (i think) but it is fucking long. 

build - i can’t believe it’s been 5 years since i watched build… i miss her so bad every day… but also build had a lot things that i couldn’t stand. however the yaoi was really fucking good. also build is pretty strong overall despite it all. we need that energy back for kamen rider so bad but all they do now is try to sell toys. i really like sento as a protagonist because he’s so funny and quirky but also not like the usual kr protagonist who is stupid. i mean he is still stupid but in a different way. banjou is more like the protagonist type but he is actually just sento’s boyfriend. love wins. my thing about build is that i didnt care about kazumi or gentoku or katsuragi or any of the other men (evolt can stay #sexy). so sometimes i was sitting there like oh my god. enough. also the way they nerfed sawa and misora pissed me off. but that final episode hit hard enough that i forgave all the shit the last 10 or so episodes put me through. which is true of a lot of kamen riders like if they hit that ending it’s like all is forgiven baby!!! but anyway i love build. i miss her. i love her. 

ooo - i got so obsessed with ooo that 5 years ago i was in a college english class and they asked me what my favorite tv show was and i said kamen rider ooo. right there in front of everyone. ms. kobayashi really got me with that one! everyone has already said this but the relationship between ankh and eiji is so interesting both on a yaoi level and a psychological level… the human won’t let himself want anything and the monster whose existence is all about wanting things. and they’re in love. wow! the whole ooo cast is great though and i think it’s so cute that the actors still interact 10+ years later. i love hina so much… i love gotou and date and satonaka. i miss them. i’m sorry that ooo 10th was like that but i will forgive them. i guess. i think ooo’s one weakness is that the monster of the week episodes were kinda boring. like bro i don’t care about this guy getting back into wrestling what about ankh’s existential crisis!!!! but it’s ok we all have our flaws. i love you ooo. 

ex-aid - i THINK i watched ex-aid after ooo but honestly i don’t remember? wild that i went from ooo to ex-aid actually. ex-aid is a deeply controversial work because it sucks so bad but it’s also really fucking funny. but also sometimes it really is unwatchable like i tried to watch a couple of the first few episodes with eri and i was like this is horrible i’m being tortured but then when i think about parad i get hysterical. the duality of ex-aid. I think a lot of ex-aid is not very good. and yet it has something… some kind of power that makes me tell people to watch it and then they’re like this sucks and i’m like yeah! (this has happened 2 times.) but i do like ex-aid despite the fact that it’s really loud and annoying and the camera angles are weird and the belt noises are insufferable. it’s funny. i think the idea of gamer doctors fighting to the death(?) is hilarious. it definitely impacted me that’s for sure. there’ll never be another one like it… despite takahashi doing multiple krs since then (mistake). ex-aid is the demon that haunts me.

w - i think i’ve actually forgotten a good chunk of what actually happened in w but it was good. it was solid. philip and shotaro and akiko found family baby!!! and w made me tolerate a cop so that’s something. i really have nothing else to say here. ok actually w totally fell apart when it killed off the sonozakis and brought in that weird-ass doctor and that random villain who showed up at the end but philip and shotaro carried it… for me. and akiko of course she was everything to me. also again the final episode made me forgive everything because it was like they’re reunited!!! (sobbing and screaming and crying) 

fourze - for a while i didn’t hype up fourze that much because of the american high school aesthetic, which is actually really funny but not exactly my taste. but gentaro truly is a wonderful good boy. he loves his friends PERIOD. also ryusei was really funny because everyone else was like some kind of american teen drama trope (the goth girl, the jock, the cheerleader, etc.) and then there was ryusei who was like two-faced bitch alert! i love that. also kengo and gentaro were in love so there was #yaoi. that one episode where kengo was mad bc ryusei and gentaro were getting along and he was so jealous i cried. i would give anything for another kr as good as fourze tbh. 

den-o - when i first started kamen rider i was like i’m not watching that old shit (pre-neo heisei) but then i was like ok i will give den-o a chance because it was written by ms. kobayashi… and it was good. it was really fucking good. like there’s not a lot of crazy shit it’s mostly just funny shenanigans with the imagins and ryoutarou’s hard knock life but you still feel emotional about it all… ms. kobayashi’s genius. her range. even though the plot makes absolutely no fucking sense i think it’s fine. it’s about the feelings. the bonds. and also trains. 

ryuki - so after not watching kamen rider for 4-5 years i started watching ryuki with lain because they put it on tokushoutsu. and wow was i not prepared for whatever that was! i don’t think there is a way to prepare yourself for ryuki actually. but i will say that ms. kobayashi once again impacted me with her talent. her ability to create so many weird and mentally ill men… i’m obsessed. also i love shinji so much he is just an silly little dogboy who is being forced to confront the trolley problem and also fight to the death. why did she do all that to him? also why did she give kitaoka a beautiful and perfect malewife? why did she make asakura so sexy? why did she make tojo like that? why can’t ren be nice to shinji just a little? i have a lot of questions and no answers. there was never a dull moment with ryuki bc there was always some shit going on. every single guy was fascinating except the ones that were meant to be annoying as hell. and the ensemble cast of yui and ore journal and aunt sanako… love them. they are all so funny and iconic. i wish i could say more but i would spoil it. ms. kobayashi’s wild ride. as you can see ryuki has left me incoherent. i will not recover from what ryuki did to me. gen urobuchi you will never be her. 

blade - i started watching blade while also watching ryuki to prevent myself from looking up spoilers but it didn’t work. anyway the point is i watched all of blade while also watching ryuki with lain. it was interesting to watch them at the same time bc toward the end blade started copying ryuki so hard with the battle royale shit it was like ok girl i guess! blade is interesting bc a lot of krs have a strong start and then go off the fucking rails but blade is the opposite. it starts off like what the fuck is all this now then at the very end it’s like ohhh it’s about how the love was there all along. bring out the yaoi. i think at least 30 episodes of blade are complete nonsense like you will be sitting there like um okay i guess? but it’s worth it for the shakespearean gay tragedy of kenzaki/hajime. i can’t say i really liked mutsuki or tachibana but toward the end i started finding them really funny like i couldn’t really be mad because tachibana is so pathetic you just have to chuckle and mutuski has teenager disease. although it was tiring watching them both be assholes to their beautiful girlfriends for so long like ok can we get back to how in love kenzaki is with hajime PLEASE. but oh well. we can’t have everything!

if you actually read all of this thank you. i have so much to say and yet my brain is very small… i will continue making my poor quality videos to show my respect however. kamen rider the world.

You know what, I've been thinking recently, what if all this talk about the new Alpha Tauri and a "maybe available seat" wasn't for Daniel but for Sergio.

Hear me out, 1) this isn't the first time a driver gets dropped to the sister team because he wasn't performing and 2) it will be a safer way in terms of contractual obligations for RedBull, some sort of like "hey Sergio we've seen that you're a competent driver but being against max is clearly overwhelming for you so why don't you try this position out for a while and then we will see" kind of situation.

The way Christian went from "nope Sergio is good" in Miami to "not 5 millimeters sick" is telling, because unlike Helmut he had yet to say anything bad towards him, but after 4 races where he's out in Q2 and the other teams are getting closer to 2 place in the championship, I think that Christian might be running out of patience.

Daniel in the AT makes some sembalance of sense....he's been out of the sport a year, go there shake the cobwebs off, properly prove that he can still drive, it was just the shit mclaren that he couldn't drive, and then when sergio's contract ends (i still need hard evidence of what his contract actually is btw, are we settled on 2 or 1+1?) he can graduate up to red bull (easier send than done when you've got liam and yuki also waiting, but it makes logical sense)

AT is a feeder team at the end of the day, and i know they demoted pierre back down, but he was a junior, he still needed his training wheels on, whereas putting perez there just does not make sense?? he wouldnt be going back down with the promise of maybeeeee making it back up....he;'d just be going downwards....(which arguably any time he goes to will be downwards, but i mean in the sense of the rbr family and his trajection)

i do agree tho it seems christian is running out of patience and even tho they got a 1-2 today christian didnt even seem impressed (which fair enough, its not the real race, not a lot of points, checo quali'd better so easier for him to finish higher YET he still finished 21 seconds behind max which begs the question where the fuck is he going to finish tomorrow cause idk i cant see it being the podium personally)
