Honestly, I know there’s a lot of people in the fandom that kinda view Kim as pure and can do no wrong and only good natured, and when I see people draw him with the lungs it makes me think about that, but also it’s accurate.

Like, the lungs themselves are connected to a figure who is widely seen as innocent and amazing, but there are hints in the game that the character is not actually as good as we were initially led to believe. Dolores is seen as inhuman to some, and some of the decisions she made could probably be considered really bad, but we do still view here as a good figure, and when I thought about it I really really began to appreciate the lungs and halo being a Kim thing.

I don’t really know if everyone who draws Kim means to draw that parallel or if I am actually just 599 iq who can see things in media no one else can see with my special eyes, but I really appreciate that symbolism and depth of meaning. Ugh I love Kim.

//howdys! already sent an ask to here before (unless tumblr ate the ask in which oops) but i have a lowkey suggestion for a name that you can call your AU with, i've noticed the word Flawed in the character informations and in the au's lore so perhaps the AU itself could be called "The flawed Au" or just "Flawed AU" in short since the main trio here seemed to be more or less different clones in a sense to the other cartoons, just a small suggestion, but anyways happy early christmas

bendy, alice, and barry are all flawed in some way, boris although given the Frankenstein treatment was a perfect clone. but all 65 bendy clones, most of the alice clones, and a handful of the boris clones were all flawed or imperfect so its a good name for the au! hope you don't mind me using the name 🥺️ ))

Hi! Yes of course! I wasn't expecting such attention, haha. I appreciate it. Thank you for asking! I love to ramble about my OCs.

Dren (he/they), was born and raised in Cyrodiil. Following some unfortunate mishap, he finds himself in Morrowind. It's a place Dren always wanted to visit because of their ancestry, but it's clear that he isn't welcomed there. So he begins working alongside Caius as a mean to find a way back home; although they never considered Cyrodiil to be a place where they really belong.

Of course following the events of Morrowind, he accidently finds himself to be chosen as Nerevarine, which he had taken has a joke from the start. As the story progresses, Dren begins however to take in the importance of their role, and slowly, literally transforms into this prophetised hero.

By literally, I mean that in my own canon, the soul of Nerevar is still very much present and very much haunting the Ring, and takes over Dren's body and mind as their adventure progresses. (I do want to add that Nerevar is in no way a malevolent being— the whole thing is in neither's power).

I think Dren is one of my most tragic OCs; he is a nobody who dreamed of becoming somebody important, to finally find their place in the world. Alas when this happens, he forgets his own identity and gets replaced by someone he is not, eventually left to be erased and forgotten as a person from history. They're one of my few OCs who don't get a happy ending, unfortunately.
