     winding yet another inexplicable white hallway, junha wondered just how boring this tour might end up being. within seconds, his eyes had already adjusted to the bright fluorescent lights that lined his workplace, mostly because he'd been around them regularly for the past two years or so. he was proud of his work at the lab, but in all honesty, it was just another building block to his ultimate goal: he wanted to go to space. he was well on his way to earning his master’s degree, and working here, he was able to aid in the logging of new discoveries among the final frontier. it was quite fulfilling, and maybe that’s why he was so keen on the idea of showing the person beside him. “okay, this is the main lab,” he spoke in a hushed voice, as they weren’t technically supposed to be here at this hour. he swiped his id card through the slot in the door, which emitted a small series of beeps before allowing the two access. when the door opened, the centerpiece of the immaculate room was immediately obvious; a gigantic, panoramic view of the galaxy is all its glorious high definition detail was projected upon the wall, giving them a fantastic view. “the image projected here is actually being recorded by the high powered telescope we made,” he announced, turning to the other with a small smile, uncharacteristically chatty.

Normally Jimin makes coffee at home, but he was running late and decided to rely on one of the espresso machines upstairs for their regular clients. He greeted the clerk and quickly grabbed himself a cup, before selecting a pod to put into the machine.

He put the pod into the chamber and closed the door of the machine, then pressed the button to start making his coffee.
