When I say "I'm fine," what I mean is "Lucifer and Lilith never share a scene in Supernatural. They never get to talk to one another. To my recollection they never even talk about each other and it's only through other characters talking about them that we know their connection, and still, they defined each other in ways that no other character so mutually changes and defines one another. Lucifer's creation of the demons gives him rule and command of Hell which is instrumental in the apocalypse and afterwards, and Lilith being the first demon "tempted and twisted" by Lucifer rules in his stead and pays the ultimate price for his return. They, together, create demon-kind, a species that God did not create and did not want to exist, from His most prized creation - together they were the first to defeat God. And very likely because of that, because of that slight, God designed the Cage to only open if Lilith was dead, to make it so that Lucifer and Lilith could never reunite, and they never fucking do."

catholic priest monster hunter Ethan au where Kronos (still workshopping) is the bishop of his diocese and the one who suggested to the church that Ethan should be granted the authority of a priest and go hunt monsters. But it was mostly a ploy so that he could have the church monster hunter under his jurisdiction so that he can subtly point Ethan towards doing his dirty work because he's secretly been working with a demon. This was entirely inspired by me listening to that one sam smith song. The demon I keep picturing in my head is just Drolta from Castlevania Nocturne (psspsspss kai c'mere).

When Ethan finds out it obviously causes some big moral issues because Kronos excuses his behaviour as performing a necessary evil for the greater good, and Ethan is technically doing the same thing by working with Luke to protect more people from monsters. Except Kronos' idea of 'the greater good' is extremely warped

The difference between them is that Ethan's demon actually likes him, whereas Kronos' demon knows he's spiralling and wants a front-row seat to his eventual but inevitable breakdown.

Whenever I think about Sky: The Two Embers, I can't help but feel excited but also dreadful at the same time. On one hand, obvious excitement for getting an animated series for one of my favorite games + possibility getting some lore clarifications. On the other hand, the dread stems from those possible lore clarifications. Like, what will become of my headcanons and planned stories if they conflict with canon...

i'm rereading the night beyond the tricornered window right now and... ngl but this manga really did better than jujutsu kaisen at explaining the power of curses and the way faith can affect people regardless whether they believed in a higher power or something more... mundane

tomoko yamashita-sensei have less more stuff to work with compared to akutami here yet she's still able to create a better, much more engaging and interesting story that's able to convey what it wanted to say effectively compared to jjk, for me personally

it's a good example on how less is more

sometimes not adding too much lore can help the readers understand the story easier than adding too many convoluted backstories and lores for the sake of appearance and following genre conventions

Starter call! Yep, you saw correctly. I've been making progress in my drafts, and I realized since it was mentioned the other day that I function a little better under pressure, so, yes.

These will be a little shorter (and I'm going to be a little strict with myself on that so that I actually get them written), so expect roughly a paragraph and if it stems from an idea that we've spoken about in plotting or whatnot, then it might be a little longer. But generally, they will be shorter starters that knowing me, will become lengthier threads as the replies progress! This is also welcome to non-Genshin blogs, but then please remember that I do not have any verses outside of Yelan's game canon, and so I'll be looking at your Genshin verses!

sorry if you've answered this before, but what do you think of taco's immidient switch into her viseral hatred of the game post losing mic? do you think its just her trying to get everyone to quit or does she genuinely detest the game for ruining what was her one honest happy relationship (with someone who knew the real her, not to deligate pickle and taco but to me their relationship is much different because of it)

THIS IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING ID HAVE TO REQATCH THE EP TO ANSWER CONFIDENTLY. but anwyays taco is very unreliable and what she says outwardly is almost always taken lightly by me because she contradicts herself a ton and lies a lot to avoid putting herself into vulnerable situations. I don’t think she cares about the other contestants very much and taco has always been a very self serving character. if ae really meant to write her as someone sincerely acting selflessly to preserve the wellbeing of people she hardly ever considers,I would be very very surprised...so the answer is the latter. she’s in her bitter revenge arc..she’s tearing up whatever she thinks ruined things between her and mic…which also happens to include herself as well but that’s not rly relevant rn
