I know you probably won't answer this, which is fine.
But, I just wanted to say thank you, for everything you do.
Whether it's a simple shitpost, a artistic comic about gay puppets, or even a life update about sprinkles, everything you make brings me joy.
Life's been pretty shitty lately, and I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done.
I can't what to see what else you post, lol
jokes on you, I'm Answering This! ha, get pranked
but really, that's one of my big goals, i'm going to be honest. it's why i started posting fic & now art - i wanted to provide for people the joy and escape it all gave me over the years. if i can make One person's day better, it's worth it!
so... really i should be thanking You! it warms me to know that i've brightened your hours even a little <3 KITTEN BLAST:

You have mentioned Ice Nine Kills. I don't know them yet but I'm a huge sucker for getting music recommendations
Which songs do you like best from them (and do you have more recommendations eventually?)
hiii Hai hi hello ! if you're like wholly unfamiliar they make metal music and if that's ur thang then ummm. My all time favorites from them are probably rainy day, ex mortis, the american nightmare, funeral derangements, hip to be scared, your numbers up, and the shower scene. take your pick is also up there but it's not as approachable I don't think. they also have a really really really really really really really good cover of can't help falling in love. lots of their stuff is very over the top and silly but they know it is and that's the fun of it

There have been so many songs I've had in the back of my head loosely linked to Ricky and Gina, and today's prompt finally gave me an excuse to compile a playlist for them. There's honestly probably more that can be added, but I'm actually quite proud of how many I was able to add to this list!
There are some songs that are from Gina's perspective ("Mastermind", "What if I Love You", "Nobody Love Me Like You"), including her S2 perspective, some from Ricky's ("would you love me now?", "Smoke Slow"), some about their angst that can be from both perspectives ("The Night We Met", "Where's My Love"), and some that are more joyous and celebratory ("Different", "I Just Love You", "Honeybee").
However, the one I really want to highlight is "Nebraska" by Oh Wonder. This was in my top 5 most played in 2021, so I can't believe I didn't think of it until now as a Rina (and especially Gina) coded song, but BOY does it fit them so well. Seriously, go listen to it now and tell me this doesn't perfectly represent and describe Gina Porter and how she feels about Ricky. It touches on the importance of "I love you" but that it shouldn't be a wasted phrase, and the narrator sings about traveling the world but the only place that feels like home is her beloved (who may have also broken her heart).
The other song that I want to talk about briefly is "I Just Love You" by Roo Panes. The feeling and atmosphere the music of this one creates always reminds me of domestic Rina, and the simplicity of the lyrics ("I just love you") reminds me of how Ricky feels for Gina. I also headcanon Gina's middle name is Marie, so the lyrics of the first verse fit, and the second verse sings about they've both had fears of vulnerability ("why are we oh so afraid / of saying something real?"). This contrasts the straightforward conclusion of the chorus, which definitely reminds me of Ricky's resolution, certainty, and directness in "Love You Forever".

My therapist had The best idea!
I struggle with naming emotions. If you ask me how I'm doing, I have to think about it for 12 hours to give a somewhat accurate answer, and my answer is a metaphor like "I feel like someone is scratching at the walls of my body" or "I feel like a stray dog wandering through dirty alleyways in search of something that never existed".
But I can draw emotions. For years I have been drawing emotions. And he suggested to print out my drawings as a card deck and simply hold them up. So simple! So awesome! I'll do it. I'll keep drawing emotions and I'll print them out and start carrying them with me.
He said that since I have such a perfect, always-smiling-friendly mask, other people literally can't know how I am actually doing. So this could help.
I've only started therapy with him five months ago (and I was hospitalized for three of these five months) and he has already helped me more than the other therapists I had before him. I'm more grateful than I can put into words.

the song Brutus by the Buttress has been circling tiktok and I’m so glad it’s getting the hype it deserves. it makes me want to write a villain fic so bad 😩
I saw a tiktok pointing out that there are no daughters to the high lords of prythian (besides Rhys’s sister but she’s dead 🥲) and that either it’s just a choice SJM decided to make or it’s been done on purpose (meaning like they’ve died/been killed off to ensure a male inherits the role of high lord) and now I wanna write a fic of Beron having a daughter who lowkey turns into a villain inspired by the song Brutus 😅
