The Escape

Alex Mason ran from a gang that taken him away from his family. He looks at the picture he still had of them and holds it close while running in the forrest.

Alex Mason was only 12 when he was taken and spent a year under the control of The Black Hawkes. But on May 28, 1878. That all changed when they gotten careless.

He saw his window and jumped out of it. Literally. He's hurt but he can walk.

Soon he stops and jumps in a bush. He hurts his head on something hard and saw a revolver, rusty and unsure if it will even work. But he took it.

He decides to stay in the bush and sleep there for the night. Tomorrow, he'll continue his journey and maybe meet a kind stranger.

Gazelle: she was hit with the fastest acting neurotoxin

Poppy Adams: overdosed on poisoned heroin.

So me and my friends were playing Gartic Phone and I've been obsessed with Hazbin Hotel lately so I couldn't help but keep randomly doodling some of the characters during the game. Here are some of the ones I enjoyed the outcome of or found funny.

This one was an animation game type and the first panel of the gif is my drawing. Whatever comes after is what my friends drew from my origninal panel.

Then this one was a game type that each round you had less and less time to recreate the original drawing so it fell apart fast lol

and then these two are just doodles I enjoyed and saved seprate from the whatever game type they were originally from.

btw all of these were drawn with a mouse under a time constrait so they're rough but it was just for fun. Hope someone enjoys my random shit post~!

Had a dream and thought up a new story idea. Whoops, lol. Poll at the end if you're interested.

Basically, it's a thought for an original story inspired by haunted houses/mansions. The mother of a family received the deed/ownership to an old mansion. In the process, she becomes possessed by the spirits of the house and ends up killing most of her family.

Jump to the present, one daughter and one son are left. The daughter has no memory of what happened, but the son remembers it all. [Edit: They reunite right after college for the start of this instead of high school ending.] However, throughout their school years, any friends they've grown close to and any bullies they've had both disappear. Everyone else has them erased from their memories, except for the boy's. He can't convince anyone to remember, so eventually gives up, making private notes in journals to keep the memories of the lost at least acknowledged.

They go on one last road trip with two of their mutual friends left and end up stumbling across the mansion, overgrown in the middle of nowhere. Lured into the mansion, all of them end up separated.

Not sure how to explain the rest without giving away the whole idea, but basically the story is told from the PoVs of the brother and sister. Non-human whumpees as well as human ones. Though it is also some experimentation whump mixed with supernatural whump, so humans turned into animal/human hybrids kind of thing. Like, a whumper moved into the mansion secretly and has been contributing/taking advantage of the disappearing characters. It was a very detailed dream for one night, lol. Of course, lgbt and neurodivergent MCs, as well as the side characters, too.

I'm still working on the October writing events stuff first. Basically this whole ramble was to keep the idea from disappearing in my head, plus what I'm writing on some scrap paper. Everything else I've shared so far for ideas has been re-tellings or fanfics, but I've noticed a lot I've read for the whump community and enjoyed has been folks orgiginal works a whole lot more. And I'm working on not being so paranoid and cagy about writing origninal stuff myself and sharing it with more than just a few choice friends. So I'm nervous to share this idea, but excited to see if anyone would actually want to read it.

Japanese Oni - WK 6

Oni is these super cool but scary creatures in Japanese mythology. The witches are generally depicted as though they have claws, unkempt hair, and even horns on their heads. They look so strained that their skin is either red or blue, depending on their mood. This is like a triumvirate of really strong dude fighters who are often depicted as the bringers of disaster and diseases, if you will, the karma punishers. Since Oni exists in pop culture maybe you have come across it without even knowing it existed. The anti-hero has many subtypes; one of the most popular examples relates to Akuma from “Street Fighter.” He’s got this demonic thing going on, you know is heavily influenced by Oni. There is Nago from the “Princess Mononoke” (Great movie, I recommend watching it) after martial transformation, she gets cursed to become devil like an oni. These characters make an Oni a figure that can be discussed and most likely avoided at the same time. So, what’s the deal with Oni? Perhaps they evolved as a result of early man and his primitive and irrational beliefs. In the olden days children could not comprehend natural disaster or diseases so they attributed them to these horrible spirits. Oni could also signify evil or the evil in man The characters of the game could then each be associated with origninal an Oni that represents the evil within them Selina for example was possesed by an Oni that represents the evil in her. As a matter of fact there are no concrete proof that Oni does exist but regardless, they have been depicted in folklore and the pop culture as agents the dark unknown and things that goes bump in the night.
