I'm designing characters and storyboards for this potential series starring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit! Now that he's public domain, these guys are taking the opportunity to use him. We're obviously struggling, but I still have faith in this project.

THE PROGRESSION OF OSWALD’S FEELINGS TOWARDS FELIX

So during my first reading of The Inky Mystery, I found it a little rushed for Oswald to have agreed to something romantic with Felix in the far future, especially since I felt at the time that there weren’t many indicators of Oswald potentially having romantic feelings.

OH BUT DURING MY RE-READ….

It’s hard to tell AT FIRST if you aren’t paying attention especially with EVERYTHING ELSE going on in the story.

Here is how Oswald’s feelings toward Felix changes overtime before the confession, along with most of their interactions(warning-I am not counting the times where Felix is genuinely compared to Ortensia cause that isn’t fair)(please let me know if I miss anything)

Was the cat trying to watch out for Oswald’s son? How kind of him. “Hello.” Oswald greeted the cat with a smile. Felix blushed from the tip of his pointed ears to the end of his tail.(69)

Thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you treat my children so kindly.” His smile grew, and Felix felt himself heat up. “I really do hope we meet again very soon.”(69)

Ozzy, this is Boris, Cuphead, and Mugman.” Mickey indicated the three behind him. “And that over there is Alice and Holly, and you remember--”

“Felix! Nice to see you again!” Ozzy walked over to the cat with a bright smile. Felix ducked and flushed.

“Hello, Oswald,” Felix murmured. “Glad to see you’re doing well.”(85)

The rabbit sighed and scratched his ear. “I want to believe you, Felix. Sorry, I’m worried, and I can get hot headed,” he apologized, his sharp eyes turning gentle again.(88)

He had to admit after reading one of Felix' books as a bedtime story, he was colored impressed. He wondered how much was true and how much was embellished. It was hard to imagine the soft spoken man as this grand adventurer.(101)

“Mr. Oswald, hi.” The wolf kid waved with an uncertain smile. Oswald crossed his arms.

He was still getting used to talking again and didn’t really enjoy it, but he couldn’t stay quiet anymore either. It would devastate Mick and the kids if he went silent again.

That didn’t mean he had to be courteous to these people, though.

“We came by to look at the hole and see if we could do anything to help.” Felix stepped up. “We may have an idea of where Mickey’s at too.” Oswald raised a brow but pushed the door open.(101)

“Mr. Oswald,” Felix called from outside his door. “W-we aren’t leaving immediately. If you want to come, we can discuss it. But there are somethings that have be taken care of in town first.”

He threw the door open to see the cat author jump in surprise.

“What’s so important that my brother has to wait!”

“We-well, you see, one of the hostage requests is a girl. We still haven’t talked to her yet, and she isn’t in the best health to travel either.” Felix shrugged helplessly. “We have to plan carefully if we want to save Mickey.” That...was true. He had a bad habit of jumping in without a plan.(101)

Oswald swallowed and nodded. “Fine. But I am coming. You leave me behind, and I will call the police and report all of you.”

Felix’ ears dropped and a strange sorrow entered his eyes. “Of course.” Oswald ignored the pang of guilt he felt for threatening the cat. They had all lied to him. He had nothing to feel bad about, but Felix had been a wonderful visitor and a friend. The kids adored him.

“I’m trusting you Felix,” Oswald found himself saying. He watched the cat’s ears perk and eyes light up.(101)

He felt a bit guilty since he had to admit he didn’t completely trust Felix, and the cat had been nothing but kind and understanding. (103)

Boris is right.” Felix smiled at Oswald gently. “Mickey is a very capable person. I’m sure we will be able to get him back right as rain.”

Oswald tried his best to smile for the kind cat. “Thanks.” (103)

Oswald raised a brow. “Oh really?” He glanced at Felix. “Then hopefully Felix will get me chance to prove myself soon.” Felix looked up from his paper, eyes wide.

“Uh? M-me?” He blinked.

“You’re the most famous adventurer here, after all.” Oswald pointed to the book Holly had. “So, you’re the one that hands out the adventure cards.” He shrugged. “Makes sense to me.”( 104)

Oswald shrugged Felix off and walked away without a word. He looked at Felix and turned. “Mr. Oswald!” Felix called after him. “Mr. Oswald!” The cat went to follow.(105) (it’s unclear what happened between them after this but Oswald is less antagonistic toward cup for the rest of the trip and Felix ended up going to save Mickey instead of the brush despite it being at first a desperate attempt to get ozzy to calm down so in my eyes it counts)

Okay! Let’s go!” Felix said as he pulled Mugs and Boris away by their neck-wear. Oswald watched in entertained and perplexed amazement. Bendy felt like he missed something(106)

Oswald!” Felix stood too. “Wait, there has to be a mistake! We--”

“It’s okay Felix. I can handle this. You fellas just rest and relax,” Oswald said(106)

We’re all in danger as long as this thing is ticking,” Felix said pityingly. Oswald grimaced and looked from the door to Felix and back again. He clenched a fist and banged it against the car wall.

“Fine!” he growled and turned on Bendy and Boris. “But you make sure you get him out safe!”(109)

Holy stars. We’re alive.” Oswald slumped against the wall. Felix stepped up and patted him on the shoulder.

“Nice job Oswald.” Felix smiled.

The rabbit snorted. “You can call me Ozzy after this. Hell, call me anything you want. That was absolutely insane.”( 110)

Felix. He had a new respect for the cat. Soft spoken and kind. He had a tough side too. The toon had been steely yesterday. He was definitely the adventurer from his books. Oswald could see it now.(112)

“If he’s a demon, what is stopping him from going on a rampage with them? Maybe attack the angel’s city or something. I mean, that would make a lot of sense.”

“And you think Felix would actually help with that?” Mickey raised his brows.

“Maybe he’s lying to all of them,” Oswald suggested.(112)

Oswald stayed still, eyes wide as he absorbed what had just happened. How Felix had reacted. Until he felt heat in his ears and face. No way.(112)

“Ozzy?” Felix asked and followed his glance to the other side of the long table. “Is everything okay?” 

The rabbit sighed. It wasn’t his business. It really wasn’t. He was having a good night with his friends and brother.(125)

The inky crew seemed curious, especially cupface, but Oswald could ignore them. Almost. All but Felix.(125)

Oswald sighed. “Let me guess. You said or did something and you’re wondering if this is all your fault.” 

Felix’ eyes widened. “How do you know?” 

Oswald laughed. “Because that’s how a parent thinks.” He grinned. “And I knew you were close to them, Felix.” (149)

Felix scowled. “It’s nothing,” he grumbled and stomped to the sidewalk, the others on his tail. 

“Don’t give me that!” Oswald said. “Now show me.” 

Felix rolled his eyes and lifted his shirt. A couple pieces of glass and a long shallow cut above his scars. Oswald paled. “I’m fine,” Felix said again and sat on the sidewalk(150)

Hey Felix, seems like we’re in the same boat.” Oswald smiled. (156)

You just be the nice fella you’ve been and listen when someone wants to finally talk about it,” Oswald said and shut his eyes. 

“You sound so wise,” Felix said and smiled(156)

Oswald shrugged.  “I’ll be fine. Worry about the others.” 

Felix nodded. “Thanks Ozzy. You’re a great help.” 

The bunny blushed and lowered his chin. “It’s nothing.” (156)

“Don’t worry Felix. I’ll save anything good for you.” Oswald winked. The cat ducked and pulled his hat down.(162)

Oswald blinked. “Okay. Weird. Felix? What’s going o- Why do you have antlers ?” The adventurer had two perfectly mirrored deer antlers right between his ears.(248)

Just the entirety of them in 251 but here are some personal favorites:

“Doubts? You?” Oswald tilted his head, looking surprised.(251)

Oswald flushed and scratched the back of his head embarrassed. “It makes sense that I instantly felt a connection with you. I mean, I understand not getting along with your family and being burned in the past too.”(251)

Oswald winked. “After all, you’re a cussing charming fella. How could they not love that smile!” 

Felix flushed. Oswald blinked and blushed himself. Felix coughed. “Thanks!” the cat said quickly to save both of them from an awkward silence. “I appreciate that. More than you know.” 

Oswald’s face got even darker, his ears fell. “Don’t mention it.”(251)

Oswald’s cheeks flushed before he raised his nose. “Brillant, huh?” 

“You’re everything you listed and then some. I hope I can shape up to be half the father you are,” Felix said. 

Oswald grinned. “Go on.” 

Felix paused a raised a critical brow. 

Oswald smirked teasingly. “I never said anything about being humble.” 

The two burst with laughter. (251)

Okay, okay,” Oswald wheezed. “We better go before anyone bangs the door down.” 

“Well, you’d have to get off me first,” Felix pointed out. Oswald looked down and seemed to realize that he was straddling Felix.

“Ah! S-sorry! Oops, sorry! Haha!” The rabbit's face darkened (251)

Oswald's eyes widened. Felix attempted to escape to the door, but a hand closed around his wrist. “Hey,” Oswald said, his tone had dropped. Felix glanced back to see the handsome bunny watching him intensely. “H-how about lunch tomorrow? I’ll buy.” 

What was with that look? “Okay,” Felix agreed, feeling both excited and a little nervous. “What’s the occasion?” 

Oswald smiled, but his eyes didn’t soften. “Does there need to be one?”(251)

The hand on his shoulder squeezed before pulling back. “Bendy and Boris need me. In a lot of ways, now more than ever.” He looked up to see Oswald's smile soften into something warmer(256)

Felix raised a brow. “You’d go into Hell for me?” 

Oswald folded his arms behind his head. “Well yeah, Feels. You’d do that for me. I know you would. You’re amazing so I’m just trying to keep up.” 

Felix felt his face heat up, and he laughed. “You keep up with me? Hahaha! Ozzy, I thought I needed to try to keep up with you!” 

“M-me!” Oswald chuckled. “Well, I’ll be.” (262)

“He’s actually quite the fella. Super smart, fast, funny, bashful, and you’d think he’s all quiet but no. He is full of surprises! Right when I think I have him figured out, there’s a new twist. He can really keep me on my toes. But he’s a good fella. No, a great one. He’s trying to adopt those boys and it’s not easy. I’ve been trying to help and I swear they make those documents as dry as possible in hopes you’d give up! But Felix is smart. Smarter than me. And you should see the look in his eyes when he gets mischievous. You aren’t ready for it since he seems like such a nice strait-laced fella but he can be a real schmuck if he wants to!”(268).

Clara x reader - my person

Hello! I was wondering if you could please write something fluffy of a Clara Oswald x timelord!reader, with an established relationship already. Maybe a picnic date on some beautiful planet. - @dinofromspac3 💜

She had been really stressed recently, you could see that as clear as day, so you decided to do something grand for her, and of course your TARDIS was up for it.

You gathered everything you needed from local stores and some thing from your girlfriends flat and you spend an hour trying to choose the perfect place.

Because this had to be perfect.

Once you settled on the planet, you quickly put everything together before making it back just in time for Clara to come around the corner.

“Clara!”

Rushing over you jumped into her arms and she laughed, happily hugging you back just as tightly.

Pulling away, you beamed and took her hand in your own.

“Where are we going?!” She yelled.

“It’s a surprise!”

You pulled her into the TARDIS and closed the door, running to the console to start her up and set her on a path to your desired destination.

“Wanna tell me what’s going on?” Clara hummed.

You turned around, grinning at her.

“Nope!”

Kissing her forehead, you slipped past her, eagerly disappearing somewhere before you back back and held some fabric up.

“Absolutely not.”

“Please! I want it to be a sunrise!” You pouted.

Clara looked at you and gave a soft sigh, rolling her eyes as she nodded and you quickly blindfolded her.

Once you were sure it was safe to go outside, you gently took her hands in yours and led her outside.

“Oh it’s warm.” She said.

You smiled softly and walked her over to where you wanted her to be, and you walked behind her, slowly removing the blindfold and she gasped softly.

“It’s so beautiful..” she whispered.

Clara took in the soft golden sky, the setting sun pink in the distance, below was gently silver waters, Amal alien creatures jumping in and out.

There were a few trees that had been decorated with fairy lights and there was a small picnic in the middle all set out and ready.

“It’s one of the most calmest planets near earth. It’s just a little bit closer to the sun then earth would be, but the atmosphere here is incredible and there’s two. This one, and another just before it stopping the sun from overheating everything.”

Clara smiled as you explained the planet to you while you sat her down, and you sat down in front of her as you poured her a drink and poured yourself one.

“I got all your favourite things!”

You showed her everything and she laughed softly, nodding her head.

“This is amazing (Y/N), thank you.”

You beamed at her and let her get her food first before you got yours and you both sat next to one another, watching the sunset as you ate, drank and talked.

Clara was so used to wild adventures with the doctor that when it came to meeting you and going on adventures with you it was so different.

They were calm, well planned and you never took her anywhere that would put her in danger unless it was urgent in which case you’d make her stay behind.

Of course she never listened, Clara was never very good when it came to listening to things.

She rested her head on your shoulder, and you played with her hands, lacing your fingers with hers or tracing small lines on the back of her hand.

“I love you (Y/N).” She said softly.

You kissed the top of her head.

“I love you too Clara Oswald, so, very dearly.”

You stayed quiet for a few minutes.

“Clara?” You asked.

She sat up to look at her, and you turned yourself around, looking at her a little nervously.

“Marry me.” You said.

Clara blinked in shock.

“W..what..?”

“Marry me Clara.”

“(Y/N)..”

You shook your head, taking her hands in yours and held them softly.

“Just listen, please?”

Clara slowly nodded her head.

“I love you. I am so, deeply, unapologetically in love with you. I love you with every fibre of my being, and I know I may change appearance, and I know you will pass long before me. But I have never loved someone so much that it makes me feel like the whole universe should know. Never.”

You gave Clara and soft smile.

“I’ve lived a long, long life. Always so scared to love anyone, but you broke down that wall. You loved me, and let me love you. And I want that, I want that for the rest of my life. I will find you in every lifetime you have, and I will never forget you even if I do regenerate. So.. marry me.”

Clara moved her hands from yours and placed them on your face, leaning in to softly kiss you.

Placing your hands over hers, you closed your eyes and kissed her back, and you pulled away, pressing your forehead to hers with your eyes still closed.

“Yes…” she whispered.

Smiling, you leant in to kiss her again.

She was your person. The one constant thing you wanted to never leave. You loved her so hard sometimes it hurt. She felt right

" it was her first on planet rendezvous and she was honestly buzzing. she had worked so hard to get here, to show her stuff and show she deserved everything that she had. clara oswald deserved adventure, and to show she was a genius. a talented and beautiful genius. a talented, beautiful genius who had a mind so active that she would speak out of turn and ask enough questions to make people's head spin. most likely talking back and sassing her superiors wasn't the best idea, but she had been told by the chief engineer that he had warned them of her overactive mind and mouth. " i mean, this is supposed to be a shadowing and while you are tall, your shadow wouldn't span from being far away from me to... well, me. i think it's more expeditious for learning sake to stay next to you. besides, the moment you leave my gaze i will walk around and it's better for both of us that neither of us get lost. i'm a junior engineer and was picked by the chief engineer himself, so i will do all i can to learn all there is... commander. and, i want to learn from you too. i want to be the most well-rounded that i can be. "

plus, the more she stayed moving and talking, the less the nightmares of metal men and robotic screams could vex her conscious mind.

7. One DC death you'd like to make permanent—or alternatively, one you'd erase so it never happened?

if i was in a room with the joker and jason with a gun that had two bullets i would shoot jason twice <3 i think his character has good potentials however, being realistic with dc comics as a whole, they're never going to explore it in a way that has significance or is interesting. plus itll retcon the outlaws existence so its a win for the roy & kory girlies too <33

8. Is there anything about post-Flashpoint canon you prefer to pre-Flashpoint canon? Be honest.

i jump around in comics i read & their timelines A LOT so my canon and what i like is me just picking and choosing elements so trying to remember what came from where is difficult, especially because i considered flashpoint itself boring and new 52 is. new 52.... but I'm pretty sure its where willis todd was set up by oswald. i like the idea of him gooning (😌) for the penguin rather than his backstory being just a throw away line that he was working for two face because of the extra class commentary it can provide—especially if hes a poor man who just had to resort to petty crime and his desperation to provide for his family was being exploited. and him being thrown under the bus and arrested for something he wasnt responsible for in a cover-up for the crime lord who he was working for, resulting in being separated from his family and what eventually led to his family's homelessness—having his entire life ruined by a rich man who saw his life as nothing valuable and the unfair system that put him in that place to turn to crime and then punishes men like him rather than oswald... i think it has more depth and potential if any writer was capable of providing it, although i don't care for him now being wingman (?) and secretly still alive... but thats dc, one good idea forward, five steps back.

9. Superman in space or Superman in Metropolis? Does this change if I say Smallville instead?

oooh,,, ill have to say metropolis purely because it allows more nuances and better stories!! i think his adventures in space are grand and can be so fun but part of the reason why i love superman so much is that he IS this alien capable of major feats and he's powerful but, more importantly than that, hes just a lonely man whos scared to lose those he loves and wants to protect people. he has these abilities and he immediately wants to use them to help others and that hes based in that with all his actions. and because hes so people focused it also brings to a point of that sense of loneliness and guilt and identity crisis that he frequently had in 80s/90s comics and how he sacrifices a lot of his own happiness and self in the thought that he must to protect them or be the hero they deserve, allowing for stories to have more emotional weight and his character to be a silent tragedy that a lot of people overlook (literally what i was vaguely talking about last night on [this] post)

also i think a lot of people have gripes that hes boring because of his powers and the scale of his abilities but by having him in metropolis, it shows the heart of his stories and character (and it usually involves more than just out muscling the alien baddie since he has to be smart about his actions and what hes doing to reduce the possibility of civilians being hurt) and who he's supposed to be and what he represents by existing. by having him in such an earthly setting it constantly emphasizes that his character has always been to be a symbol of hope for the people, especially for the oppressed. what use is him having these big powers if he doesnt use it to protect those who needs it? again, his space adventures are fun and can be interesting!! but i think that if thats all superman was and what his stories focused on, itll get tiring quickly since itll be just making up new power-scaled characters to give any sense of conflict and loses such a big part of who he, as clark kent AND superman, is

a song that reminds me of them : it's ridiculously difficult to not think of tainted love or toxic firsthand when thinking of nine because of that one episode xD but after that , 'walk through the fire' - zayde wolf & ruelle , & 'shotgun' - george ezra.

what they smell like : he certainly looks like he would smell of leather & sandalwood , but honestly i rather think he would carry the scent of patchouli , faintly of mint & vanilla with an undercurrent of leather possibly. depends on if that coat of his is real or not.

7.Cook's playing with Jarvis and Edwards saw when they look into Jonathan's eyes, they saw hell, more specifically the person who held they go to when they die, due to the resurrection Jonathan can now cause people to have a sneak peek on what kind of hell they're going to go through when they die, even good people see how they will be tortured if they go to hell

Che lo sarebbe stato si era capito già dal trucco e dalle espressioni di Pattinson, tanto che il suo uomo pipistrello è stato battezzato emo-Mission: Impossible 7 già qualche mese fa e il film non fa nulla per convincerci del contrario. Bruce Wayne è praticamente inesistente e mette gli occhiali da sole anche a colazione. AlfMission: Impossible 7 manca dell'ironia che aveva la sua precedente versione ed è a sua volta una serissima ex spia.
