At first I was a little bit annoyed at how differently Beck acts with the Tron mask on and without it. I thought that it was inconsistent character writing.

But now, I kind of embrace it. He becomes more confident with the mask because with Tron's image and power he can do things he's never been able to do before. He can help people.

You can also see a little bit of that confident personality come out in the train episode, when he's not wearing the mask but he and Paige are still acting heroically to save the people on the train. It's kind of cool how Paige can bring out that side of him when they're together.

It also helps explain why she doesn't recognize him as Tron. He acts so different when he's in the suit! How could that cocky, quippy, leader of the uprising be the same person as this sad-eyed, soft-spoken mechanic?

Anyway. I still think Tron: Uprising has a lot of flaws but I've decided to like this one.

I have a question for people that understand God of War characterizations better than me.

If a Ragnarok era Kratos wound up in the battle of The Last Olympian, what would he be most upset at? Children fighting in a war or that they were being forced to fight their parents battles? I know, obviously there’s no real crossover between GOW and PJO, it was just a fleeting thought I had.
