Day 7 of coding everyday for a year! It's kind of a late night this time lol.
My husband and I worked hard at it today! I added the task page functionality and UI and my husband helped me with things I didn't fully know how to do. It's great being married to senior dev lol
Tomorrow we are adding subtasks to the add/edit task functionality, and more notification work!

Day 5 of coding everyday for a year!
I did a lot today! I implemented the UI for the task list including subtasks, and task details. Crossing off a task if IsCompleted is true. Using many types of tasks such as one time, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Husband worked on more notification work. I think we will get this done before the weekend is over for sure!
Next things to go is edit/add task, getting notifications working for reminders about tasks, and more testing.

I love your RW art month tiles. What art program do you use and how do you get those really clean textures and shapes?
I use PaintToolSai, both 1 and 2- but most of the drawing gets done in SAI1 since I couldn't get my brushes to import right for 2. Its an extremely bare bones program all things considered (Sai2 less so, it has a bit more tool-wise, but I only draw in it if i *have* too or for minor stuff) so its nothing really fancy being employed, everything geometric I do just by using a self made grid to measure out shapes like you would a piece of paper.
Literally its just a measured out grid of like... 50 by 50 px squares with cross sections? I just paste it as needed and draw the lines around it and since the measurements are consistent it just works.
my default pen is already "crunchy" so being perfectly matched isnt a huge deal, and you can general paste and rotate to make it look a little cleaner. Honestly I've used this same grid for forever (and it was off by like one pixel at one point lol) its just really useful for quick matching things for a program that doesn't have stuff built in for lining things up
As for the textures, those are all default to SAI (I think?). The brush I use lightly uses of fabri (which mostly just makes the edges of the brush grainier) and then I usually also put some various level of a layer texture overlay thats just one of SAI's default 'watercolor' textures. It mostly just adds a little bit of a noise/grain effect. Heres that on max
For ArtMonth itself I just draw out a tile canvas using the grid with all the layers broken up- then I just reuse it over and over as needed. There's probably smarter ways to do it, but eh it works
And yeah, theres just two borders. One for the bottom and one for the top, makes it easy to make something that goes 'in and out' of the tiles without having to think to much. Just snip as needed

Thought my physics lab was two days late and I had only three hours left to get it in at all, but it turns out that there was no lab this week at all.
Hallelujah 🙌
I fucked up absolutely everything else last week but at least I accidentally didn't fuck that up.

Information warfare au: does snitch only work with heroes through nighteye? Does he develop other contacts within the hero industry (with or without nighteye’s help)? Does he ever get information sources that are (significantly) more illegal than ‘hacking a cheap security system’ or ‘overhearing some quiet guys in the bar’? Does he snitch have a source of income of his own?
He works primarily through Nighteye! He becomes almost an unofficial member of the agency. But, Nighteye does give him some direct lines of contact to a few other agencies he trusts and Izuku himself has his own line to the Underground Network that he uses from time to time.
Izuku's best hacking method is actually social engineering! Put on a press badge or carry a tray of coffees and most places will let you right in without asking any questions. He has a collection of USBs configured to download all local files and some others that will upload key loggers among other things. He also managed to get a few email addresses to just straight up forward every email they receive to him. He's crying at Endeavors lack of a specialized network security agent. Like, he's benefiting! But Christ man, it shouldn't be this easy!
He sometimes sells villains information about other villains, but he wont take money from heroes.

I know that people headcanon that if V1 has a voice, it’ll be SAM (and I like that voice for them), but here me out:
V1’s voice sounds like AquesTalk.
More specifically, the one that serves as a voice provider for Uta Utane/Defoko, the default UTAU voicebank.

the association in wolf 359′s sound design between memory and water, and the association between water and hera by extension; the artificial construct of a beach as imagined by someone who has never seen a beach but wants to. what’s expected of hera, the parts of her that were programmed to serve a certain function... “or end up in other places, doing things not because you’re good at them but just because of what you are" ... is so much in conflict with who she is, what she enjoys and feels drawn towards. the natural world, appreciation of music and literature, even spirituality... in one AMA, sarah shachat suggested druid as an rpg class for hera, and i’m fascinated by that. hera’s draw towards the natural world and, broadly, things the text associates with the Human Experience is such an interesting and deliberate choice. that alone feels like such a statement about isolation and loneliness as obstacles to personal growth and self-discovery: to have some innate longing for things she literally was not designed to experience.
