Moving out of the city can have many benefits. Here are some of them:
1. Ability to do your own thing: You can enjoy more freedom in the country than in the city. You can breathe fresh air, enjoy nature, and have more space for yourself.
2. Growing nutritious food: You can grow your own food in the countryside. This way, you can be sure that your food is fresh and healthy.
3. Getting away from…
After my modest success with the 1/64 scale shipping pallets, I was thinking about what else I could try to make, and settled on a Jersey barrier and an arcade cabinet. Turned out pretty well.
These are the result of hours of work over a couple evenings. Desktop hobby plotter-cut cardstock & 0.4 mm sheet styrene parts. And Tamiya putty, solvent glue, superglue & acrylic paint.
The Jersey barriers were extremely fiddly and difficult to assemble, though if I make more, I think I've figured out a simpler way to do them.
The arcade cabinet was slightly easier, but seems bare without any graphics or colors on it.
I've realized it's very helpful to put a tiny magnet in the base of these things, to hold them to a stick while painting.
I want to grow an enormous amount of strawberries so badly it is causing me physical pain. I need a strawberry plant that I can endlessly clone into infinite strawberries right now as soon as possible
WIP from my current Survival World. I recently discovered the Impeccable Aesthetic of Light Blue Terracotta with Cherry Wood trimmings, and had to share it with all of you.
...Pls ignore the fact that I keep using the same blasted house in every world.
of course, same as ever, the itch to actually write gets into me on the same day i have social obligations after work. tonight, visiting dad and my sister for pizza night. maybe i won't be out for very long? having energy when i get back, not quite so easily guaranteed. we shall see.
currently juggling metas aplenty — how the aura works and how ash is tangled up in it; the thousand-year-long and most fabled history of pallet house; more abstract tirades on ash's personal philosophies and how he copes with burgeoning immortality; how ash wound up in bed with the kalian technocracy; how the whole gang copes being completely fatherless, etc. speaking of which, halfway considering introducing other characters in ash's canon ( e.g., gary, misty, delia, etc. ) as guest muses — until such time as i get some more ... formal takers, anyway. we shall see, we shall see.
These are the little guys I found outside next to the forklift at my job. It’s been a week since I took them home and they’re doing very well! They are now double the size of what they are in this picture. These kittens had been literally born the day we found them with the mother no where in sight, there was a thunder storm right before we found them so the mother might’ve gotten spooked. I’ve had people keeping an eye out for the mother but so far we haven’t seen her sadly. As someone who’s done foster care for kittens before I’ll be taking care of them til they hit 8 weeks and get new homes. Might update periodically on my main blog about them from time to time!
BEHOLD my tiny, 1/64th scale wooden shipping pallets.
Hand-made, from cut-down wooden coffee stir sticks, using a template I made in Illustrator. Designed for use with Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. Don't quite have a paint color / wash / stain that I'm happy with yet.
