Finished that adjudicating fellow from the soul game (that I accidentally reblogged here a couple times). You can see the build here if interested.

Scratch built this Trench Crusade inspired terrain. Was pretty fun and actually quite easy.

Scratch built cairn, Ringwraith for scale. Built it to get some background for more rustic undeads and #LotR horrors. Took inspiration from real world tumuli. Tested out long static grass - turns out I could've chosen even longer cut.

WIP Whenever

It's been 9 months since I had an update on the Nomad Vantage since I either didn't have the time or the space to work on it. But big advancements.

I figured out I could just make decals from really thin printer paper and glue it onto the model. The only printer I have access to is a monochrome laser printer, but it turns out if you put clear lacquer over the printed toner it completely seals it. Then use thin pva glue to adhere it to the model. I mean what nomad vehicle would be complete without flaming horse skeletons. Plus a few others.
I also threw some old waterslide decals on it for good measure, mostly to fill out some blank spaces. I went to clear it, to seal down the decals and the lacquer reacted badly to everything but the decals and I've had to repaint around them. Not the worst that's ever happened, but not an ideal situation.

I also added a light bar to the roof to, which helps to break up the silhouette. Gives it a more aggressive profile, as if the armour plated bumper wasn't doing enough.
Next to do is finish fixing the paint and then do some weathering. I should be done before the sequel comes out.

Finished Killa Kan scratch build. Not too happy with some stuff like the grass, but at least I finished something.

Model number 9 for this year is this mortar for Turnip 28. I scratch-built it using all-purpose filler and a repurposed wine bottle screw top.

Bucket Helm
You might look at this and think, "Leon, this just looks like a trash bin you painted, greeblied, and stick on your head". And to that I say...
Well yeah, that's what it is.
Another post-apocalyptic build. This is inspired by the famed bushranger/knight-cowboy Ned Kelly's helmet.
Just a little side project I built to take a break from the suit of armor (it's still happening, gimme a bit). Might make a shoulder guard or a metal vest to go with it.
Also, why does this make my fat head look so small?

I have stayed enamored with ScratchBashing's video of an Ork-looted Tyranid since he made it and then I remembered I had this. Something something plagiarism and flattery.
