Have A Merry Little Christmas
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Request: WandaNat and reader cuddling and watching holiday movies on Christmas eve night. An extensive kissing scene comes on and the reader starts to squirm, which gets the attention of wandanat.
Warnings: Smut, Mommy Kink, Daddy Kink, Threesomes, penises, pregnancy
A/N: This basically solidifies that every fic in this event is either pure filth or the cutest thing you'll ever read on my blog and that's just so me!
Event Masterlist
❃❃❃❃❃❃❃❃
As much as the three of you loved going big for the holidays, there were times when you and your lovers simply wanted peace. Sure, dressing up and getting wasted at one of Tony's parties was fun, but nothing could beat being wrapped up in the arms of two beautiful women and being treated like the most precious thing in the whole galaxy. Wanda on your left and Natasha on your right, the usual setup for a movie night. They had already gone through the trouble of getting snacks and picking out all the movies you'd be watching that might. You were practically reduced to a human teddy bear for the night.
Not that you were complaining. Wanda and Natasha had always made a big show of spoiling you any way they could. All throughout the night, you were kissed and praised for the slightest thing. It made your heart warm. The warmth of your heart seemed to spread to the heat of cunt a lot faster than you'd like to admit. With Wanda's choice of a rather explicit Christmas movie and the constant touch, if it was no surprise you'd get wet. You didn't want to ruin the holiday cheer and just kept it to yourself.
Your lovers knew you too well. It was part of their plan, to begin with, but you could never hide your neediness from them. One low whimper from your mouth and they'd be on you in seconds.
"Oh Wanda, I think someone's really enjoying the movie," Nat chuckled before placing a kiss again. "It's pretty late, I think it's time to give them that gift we made." Her words were punctuated with more kisses along your neck and jawline. A familiar hardness began forming in her pants as she rubbed against you. "I think you're gonna love it, malysh. It's something you've always wanted." Natasha's hands grew bolder as they explored your body.
Wanda hummed in agreement as she rubbed her crotch against your thigh. "I think you're right, our little puppy has been so good this year. One early present won't hurt." Wanda took the job of kissing the other side of your face and neck. Hers were much softer than Natasha's. More focused on getting you to relax than marking you up. "Isn't that fair, puppy? Just one gift before Christmas morning. We promise you'll like it," She said in a mocking tone.
You helplessly tried to squirm away from the strong hands grabbing at your body. "N-no, I'm fine! We can keep watching the —" Any attempts to argue were immediately stifled by the searing kiss Wanda pulled you into. Wanda's heavy tongue invaded your mouth while Nat began trailing kisses down your stomach. All the strength in your body was needed to pull away from Wanda just for a second. "I wasn't being needy, I promise!"
Wanda raised her eyebrows in shock. "Oh, really? Why don't we check?" She held up one of your legs, exposing your cloth-covered heat. "Let daddy touch you and we'll find out fair and square." Her nails dig into your skin to keep you from closing your legs. "You're getting your gift either way, but you know how we feel about liars."
Natasha shook her head. Even with the barrier of her fingers, your cunt had practically covered her fingers in slick. "Oh, baby you're soaking. There's no need to hide it." She kissed your pussy over your underwear before pulling them off. Two of her fingers slipped inside you with ease. "There's nothing wrong with being needy, that's what we're here for baby."
Wanda's other hand snaked down to play with your clit. Rubbing it in slow, tight circles just to hear you whine and beg for more. "That's right, just let us make it better. We just want you extra happy for Christmas." Her lips went back to attacking your neck "Just keep being good and everything will feel so good!"
You could only whimper and nod along. Unable to think for yourself, just letting yourself be marked and stretched. "Wanna…wanna cum," You said, barely stringing the words together in a comprehensive sentence. The feeling of two more of Natasha's fingers stretching your sopping wet cunt nearly sent you into orgasm. Your hand clamped over your mouth to prevent any more obscene noises from coming from your body, only to be snatched away by Natasha.
"Nope, none of that. Mommy and Daddy won't know they're doing a good job if you hold back." Natasha curled her fingers against your g spot, finally letting you fall into the ocean of pure bliss. She wanted you to drown in it. No matter how many times you tried squirming away from her fingers or tugging at her shirt, her fingers never stopped. "I know it's a lot but you're gonna need to be extra wet for our gift, puppy."
It was only by the grace of Wanda's lust that you were freed from Natasha's torture. "Let mommy have a turn and then you'll get your gift. I promise!" In one swift motion, Wanda turned you around to face her. "Just one taste." Greed had clearly over the plan the two originally played out as Wanda spent what felt like hours eating you out. The nerve endings on your clit were assaulted by both her tongue and fingers.
Wanda's tongue easily forced out two orgasms before she was done eating you out. You were thankful for the few minutes you were given to recover. "Thank you, momma. Thank you, daddy." Words were barely above a whisper but it was all you could get out before your brain short-circuited. You could only make a confused face and let out a "Hm?" When Wanda pulled you into her lap.
"It's time for our special puppy to get their little gift!" Wanda smiled before peppering your confused face with kisses. Her hand reached in between your bodies and guided the tip of her dick around your clit. "I know you're still sensitive, but you're a good puppy. Mommy knows you can take it." Wanda slid inside of your cunt and bottomed out in almost record time.
Natasha pushed you forward a bit. "And now you get the extra fun part." She peppered your cheek with kisses before slipping her dick inside of you. A deep groan came from her as she pushed as far in as she could. "God, this little hole was made for having babies." Her hips slowly began to thrust in sync with Wanda's and she grinned.
If you weren't so cock-drunk and full, you would've noticed the way Wanda slapped Nat's arm and reprimed her for almost ruining your surprise. Instead, you enjoyed the feeling of being stuffed and stretched out. Mindlessly bouncing on your lovers' dicks with much concern for how late it was becoming. "Fuck, I'm gonna cum again!"
Wanda smiled. "Go ahead, make a big mess for your mommy and daddy! You're gonna make us so proud!" She groped your hips and pulled you closer to her. Having you sandwich between her and Natasha was forever a blissful experience, but not one of them would ever compare to how important this instance would be. "You better hope your daddy can hold it for three more minutes or she'll ruin the gift. Then the two of us will have to punish her, won't we?"
It seemed you liked the idea of a little revenge because your walls tightened unreasonably around your partners. "Fuck, I don't think either of us are gonna last if they keep pulling shit like that." Nat was practically rutting into you at that point. Her stamina was at its peak and not even the threat of Wanda's punishment could break her need to cum. "Be easy on me, just 2 more minutes."
Your brain barely processed Wanda's threats. Her words were far too big and long for your fluffy little head to understand. "No punishment…just wanna be full." You grabbed both of your partners' hands and signaled them to press down on the bulge in your stomach. The second your lovers fulfilled your wish, you came for the fifth time that night.
The rapid clenching and fluttering of your walls sent both of your lovers into orgasms of their own. They coated your insides with sticky white cum they'd been holding in for days. Their bodies moved as one in an attempt to prolong the bliss you three were captured in. Natasha was the first to collapse and Wanda didn't follow much longer after.
"Merry Christmas, malysh."
"We're gonna be a family."

Twenty Fanfic Writer Questions
Thank you @charmwasjess for tagging me, I feel so loved - spreading the love @panther-os, @s-c-g-s-c-g, @ankahikoibaat
1. How many works do you have on Ao3?
Twenty four. Huh. I need to import more of my stuff from fanfiction.net
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count?
How do I find this out… ohh statistics sounds handy. 265k
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Currently Star Wars, I've also written for Order of the Stick, Percy Jackson, Final Fantasy 7 and Danny Phantom
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Underestimated, Standing Above the Blood, May the Force be Taxed, A Supreme Chancellor to Kill, A Phantom Christmas Carol.
5. Do you respond to comments?
ohh yes, responding to comments is a reward, one I let myself have once I've gotten the next chapter of the story ready. This motivates me to get a chapter ready for posting faster!
but I usually write out my thoughts first in anticipation of getting to post them
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
So far: ‘Yet Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves’. A suicide fic starring a Sith Apprentice who has a Dooku-inspired Sith Master so its toxic relationships: the Fic. I went with non-romantic flower disease in this for extra toxicity plot and while the ending isn’t totally tragic because its implied (1) person lives that’s it.
However ‘Will the Wolf Survive’ may well outstrip it if I go with my knife-twister!
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Palpatine’s Jedi Holiday. It starts and ends with a holiday and Palpatine is exposed as a Sith in one of the more humiliating ways possible.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Yes, the Anakin/Consequences fics I’ve written involving the Tusken Massacre have gotten a certain subset of fans whining about Anakin being characterized as a whiny asshole and/or defending his genocide of an entire tribe down to the babes in arms and their Space-puppies.
I’m salty about it but I’ve managed to hammer out a few chapters running purely on spite.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Eh, I’m ace/aro and on the indifferent/repulsed side of the spectrum so in the rare case when I’m writing romance that leads to sexytimes I tend to dance around the actual physical acts, generally going for M rated instead of E rated.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I’ve read them more than written them but I love crossovers. My craziest published one is over on fanfiction.net: Dresden Files x Predator Series featuring the titular protagonist facing off against a Predator out to hunt down the mythical ‘human wizard’.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope, though that’s a Writer Goal ™
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope, though I might not mind later on.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
This is cruel making me pick just one. I tend to go for vibes on a ship more than specific pairings – foe-yay + hurt/comfort – so if the pairing fits the vibes I’m fine with just about any if at least one is a blorbo. Hypothetically Jaster Mereel/Ferus Olin pairing with those vibes would probably be my greatest wish. Rex/A’Sharad Hett and Jaster/Feemor are very close runners up.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
My strength is finishing posted WIPs. I’ve yet to post anything and later abandoning it (yet). However on the flip-side my hard drive is stuffed with WIPs from many a fandom where my interest has waned. They will likely never see the light of day.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Sheer determination. I can consistently word vomit thousands of words/a dozen pages of work every day (don't tell corporate) and usually have at least a finished rough draft of a story before I post. If not, come hell or high water I will finish my posted WIPs.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Focus. Often those thousands of words are on an unrelated project or ten. Also sometimes what I mean in writing is perfectly obvious to me but not to the reader, resulting in occasional misunderstandings.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I'm also gonna go with: does sign language count? I find it interesting and I read this post about this one show with lots of characters who sign and how their signing shows their characterization – I grabbed ahold of that idea and ran with it!
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Justice League, Back in the olden days when the animated series was out and my biggest obsession and I hadn’t found fanfiction.net or ao3. Was ao3 around?
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
of all time…that’s hard but narrowly May the Force be Taxed! I actually got to do the thing where I use my real-world work knowledge and experience for a realistic fanfic. I based the Galactic Republic Tax Law on US Tax Law, Palpatine’s move to change tax law in the middle of tax season is based on President Biden doing the same thing (though of course Palpatine’s decision was considerably more assholish for all parties involved), etc.
It was such fun to write and so relieving – since I wrote this during tax season I got to take out a lot of stress from irl clientele, co-workers and stupid politicians/bankers who really should know better and insert it in this fic. Qui Gon being a terrible record-keeper, Darth Sidious having not nearly enough clues about how taxes worked and the IRS auditors were definitely not my co-workers…
Plus I got to give Palpatine and the Sith in general a fitting fate in the form of a tax bill with nigh-unending zeros that they and anyone else in any way affiliated with the Sith is charged with. The Sith Order Dies because no one is willing to get near the Galaxy’s largest tax bill!

In early 2020, @mystery-moose decided my cinematic education could no longer be allowed to persist with such egregious holes. He and I and @eponymous-rose and @silksieve and @fistfulofgammarays started a discord server to watch movies every Saturday night, and shortly after came @probablylostrightnow and @servantofclio and @jadesabre301 and @annalyia and @bettydice, and suddenly we had something like bottled lightning held in a jar in our hands.
It couldn't have come at a better time--the pandemic struck about a month later--and what started as a way to expand my our horizons has become a precious thing. We've watched movies together, celebrated birthdays together, and we've traveled together too, to Colorado and Chicago and the Grand Canyon and a half-dozen other little gatherings across the entire country.
It's not an easy thing for a bunch of 30-40+'s to get together every week. But we make the time, rain or shine, only missing one single week where all but one of us were traveling, and the joy it's brought me (along with the knowledge of the greatest movie of all time, Kung Fu Hustle) is comparable to nothing else. Today is our slightly delayed three-year anniversary celebration.

A Friends in the walls story: A Good Day to Relax
A little late of a Christmas present for you guys, but having mono can really take it out of you it seems. But this is a little story that entails some bonding between Techno and Ranboo while the other boys terrorize poor Phil. I hope you guys enjoy this story and as a hint, look up what a eastern box turtle is for reference~
Edit: I posted at 12:27 am, it's not even Christmas anymore
Warnings: bullying, harassment, false accusations.
Techno could only sigh in annoyance as he watched the chaos erupting around him, trying to drink the tea that Phil had prepared for them as his brothers messed around, flinching only once when a shirt hit him in the back. Turning his head, he got a glimpse of Tommy and Tubbo running around the stairwell laughing their heads off while Wilbur perched on the railing, he almost looked like a panther as he stalked after the younger two. A loud yell from his brother only added to the slowly growing headache that the tea could no longer stave off, maybe he should get out of the house for a little while.
A soft huff drew his eyes downward and Techno couldn't help but smile as Ranboo tried to pull a bit of cheese out of the mini sandwiches Phil had tried to make, but the bread was burned beyond saving. The borrower was slowly getting covered in the cheese that he tried to eat, the yellow making an interesting contrast to the normal black and white of his skin and hair,” I thought you are supposed to eat cheese, not wear it, or is it good for your skin?” Techno huffed in amusement as the borrower sputtered in embarrassment,” be happy that Wilbur is chasing the other two, or else he would be offering to clean you.”
Phil entered the kitchen with a low chuckle and grabbed a small hand towel,” I think he’s pretty well occupied with them, but you never know when he might swing back in here, here you go Ranboo.” The elder stretched his wings slightly as he moved to pour his own cup of tea and sitting down before the two, frowning as he tried to find a less burned sandwich,” I don’t know how I managed to fuck these up, but oh well.” The three at the table jumped as a loud thump echoed from somewhere else in the house, giving the impression that the smaller ones got away from Wilbur once again, especially as the low giggling followed it. Phil only shook his head with a look mixed with amusement and disappointment, “Techno, why don’t you and Ranboo go out for the day, it's not too cool even with the cloud cover, I know you’ve been visiting the park pond recently.”
Techno gave a low huff as he turned away from his father's knowing gaze and looked to see how Ranboo took the idea, smiling fondly as he did. The younger’s tail was wagging with excitement as they turned to look upwards, red and green eyes meeting crimson in a look of clear wanting, and Techno couldn’t deny his weakness towards the borrower. “Yeah.. alright, don’t forget to grab your gear Ranboo, I know you're going to collect things while we’re there.” Techno offered a hand and held back a pleased hum and the borrower climbed into it, it always amazed the man when the tiny things put so much trust into him, even after knowing what all he had done in the past to those that hurt his little brother.
It wasn’t long before Techno was striding out the door with Ranboo tucked into his scarf, the tiny pressed up against his neck as a warm little lump against the nipping first winds of fall, and hiding his scent from any other giants. It wouldn’t be the first time that another giant tried to snatch the younger family members since they were seen as either a pest, pet..or a free snack, It brought a smile to Techno’s face as he remembered when he punched a random cat hybrid that tried to snatch Tommy off his head with the excuse of  “Just trying to remove his stowaway”. His attention was brought back down as he felt a little rhythmic tapping on his neck, Ranboo was looking over the edge of the scarf with apparent excitement, meaning that the tapping was his wagging tail (it definitely didn’t make his own tail give a slow wag, you saw nothing nerds).
“You enjoying yourself Ranboo, I thought you traveled a lot?”
*
The pointed ears tilted downwards as Ranboo sighed,” We did… but there were a few times that it wasn’t for enjoyable reasons... Tubbo’s injury being the most recent, but not the worst..” The throat beside him rumbled in curiosity, making the borrower lean against it for comfort. He and Tubbo had been living with the giants for a long time now that they easily considered them family… way more than the colonies they both came from,” I can't tell Tubbo’s story before we met up, but my life in the colony wasn’t great... My size and coloration made me stand out too much in some people's eyes... But my allergy to water is really what set them off.” He couldn’t help the shudder that ran through his body as he felt the phantom pains of his past,” there was a group of kids that thought it was funny to hide in small spaces and toss water at me before running off. I could never catch them, and if I did I was told that they were just children having harmless fun…” The giant gave a low growl that shook his entire body, it almost made him fall deeper into the scarf if he didn’t have such a good handhold.
“They didn’t punish them at all? Couldn’t they see the marks it was leaving on your skin!!”
Ranboo let out his own small purr of appreciation toward the piglin’s outrage for his situation, but it was too late to change anything,” they never did, but I was able to deal with it since my height let me reach places the others couldn’t without gear, so I had a use on the foraging runs…until it led to me escaping over someone else.” Ranboo couldn’t help the low whine that escaped him as he thought back to the day, he knew it wasn’t his fault, but not in the eyes of the colony. It was supposed to be a safe area away from any giants, but the blackberry bushes were not as safe as they thought.
He was with another borrower on the edge of the bushes as a third acted as a lookout, he actually felt at peace for once since the two were halfway nice to him. He had only just reached out for a rather plump berry when the scream happened, he whipped his head around to see a plastic cup slammed next to the watcher, how had they missed the giant that snuck up on them,” Shit I missed them, guys I found some Tinys in grandmas bushes!!” Ranboo dropped his haul as he ran for the relative safety of the deeper thorns, but had to stop suddenly as a large stick came crashing down near him, and it was followed by four other sticks. The giants were going to either flush them out... Or crush them in the process. His only hope was to make it to the fence they had climbed through and make it to the relative safety of the woods, he just needed to make it to the small hole and climb through it once again. His fellow gatherer had the same idea as he watched them sprint for it, dodging the snagging branches or slipping on fallen fruit, their dark hair flashing as they made it to the lead rope and started the climb. The only sounds that Ranboo could hear at this point were his panicked breathing and the voices of the giants getting closer, and the only thing he saw was the opening getting closer and closer until he lept for it, arms and legs scrambling for all the purchase he could get. He ignored the rope completely as his hands dug into the poorly painted wood and pulled with all the strength he had, not noticing his struggle had pulled the rope higher until he fell panting to the other side.
“Where is Alec, he was just behind you wasn’t he, where is he!!!?” Ranboo could barely focus as the other borrower shook him, turning his head to look back at the fence in mute horror. Through a small gap in the wood, they could see the watcher fighting to grab the rope as a giant closed in on them, they only just made it to the hole, arm reaching out to pull themselves through, when they were snatched away and the rope slithered after them into the sky. “ALEC!!” The borrower next to him collapsed in sorrow, pulling at her hair as the giant voices moved away, and the barely-heard yelling grew fainter…..
*
“The giants that day took him and none of us knew what happened, and the other borrower blamed me for pulling the rope higher than he could reach when I climbed through, which I know was unfair, but in the eyes of those that wanted me gone…it was just the excuse they needed.” Ranboo looked up from his reminising when Techno stopped moving and gasped at the sight before him, there was one of the most beautiful lakes he had ever seen in his life. There were oak trees that framed the edges while glades of wild grasses and flowers took up the sunny spaces; it looked almost entirely untouched by any civilizations, giant or borrower. The site was beautiful enough to make him forget his past for a moment.
Ranboo couldn’t help but gush in excitement about collecting fresh acorns, which led to the two of them collecting for over an hour and had a sizable pile to sort through. The two of them now sat beneath a large oak tree as they worked, Techno gazing out at the lake with such a calm look that it almost startled Ranboo.
“This is where I go to get away from everyone, I found it a little while before we moved into the house, it's just me and the world around me…and I can indulge the voices a bit.” Techno saw the little borrower look up confused from the pile of acorns the two had collected and were now sorting through. He picked up one acorn and held it in his hands thoughtfully, the surface looked perfectly pristine and like how any normal acorn should, but that perfect image was broken as he cracked it. Instead of the normal yellowed flesh, the inside was a dark gray from improper development, showing how it was utterly imperfect on the inside. “As you could probably tell, I’m not biologically related to Phil or Wilbur, I didn’t get adopted by them until I was about eight…and that was when my problems had already started to show.”
Techno wasn’t even sure how old he was when the voices first entered his head, he would be fine playing with the other piglin children and then a voice only he could hear would speak, and everyone would stare when he responded to them. It was easy to ignore when it was a single voice, talking with the same childish tones as himself, but then they started to multiply and sound much older than he was. There were times they offered useful advice, but they were rather bloodthirsty in other instances, especially when he was bullied in his youth.
*
Techno was quick to duck the first aimed for his face, feeling the wind of it rustle his tangled hair, but was unable to avoid the foot that kicked his legs out from under him,” stay down you freak, no one wants a freak like you for a kid.”  He lifted his head to spit out the gravel that slipped inside, but a larger hand pressed his face back into it,” didn’t you hear them freak, or were the voices in your head too loud?” The three older kids kept laughing as he tried to fight against them, managing to cut his lips on the sharp gravel, and igniting the fury of voices in his head.
Blood. They drew blood.  The director can’t be mad. They did it first. Make them eat gravel. Blood. Blood. E. Blood. There’s too many. We can take them. He’s too young. Blood. Blood.
The sounds were getting to be too much for Techno to handle as he brought his hands to his ears, trying to drown out everything he didn’t want to hear, but it was too much when a kid that looked eerily like a zombie kicked him hard in the ribs. That was when he blacked out... He didn’t come out of it until he was being held in the air by the director of the orphanage while the three bullies were holding back tears at the wounds Techno gave them. “Technoblade what did I tell you about fighting with the other kids, you’ll never be adopted at this rate and I’ll be stuck with you until the age I can kick you out!”
*
“That's pretty much how my life went when I lived in that hell of a place, it's also why I hate orphans so much, they're assholes.” Techno could only sigh as he leaned his head harder against the tree,” I really thought I would be stuck there until I was an adult, but Phil came in and saved me from that, it was hard in the beginning as you might guess, Wilbur and I fought a lot.” Techno couldn’t help but chuckle at the memories, especially when anything golden colored was involved, which included Phil and his blond hair. Techno then reached out a finger to gently rub the borrower on the head, ruffling the black and white tresses,” But things worked out in the end, me and Wilbur are as close as blood brothers and my instincts view all you tiny nerds as my family too, the voices don’t shut up about you being the favorite.”
Boo boy. Sounder. Ours. Ee. favorite. Mini me. Ours. Ranboo!
Ranboo felt his face flush at the admission, Techno was never one to voice their feelings so openly to any of them, but here he is saying that he likes him. It made his tail wag in happiness, an action that Tubbo pointed out that he started doing again, much to his embarrassment. He brought his hands up to try and smoosh his hair back down,” We both came from some sad backgrounds, does that make us the main characters or something?” The giant body let out a rumbling laugh as Techno chuckled, almost making Ranboo fall off the leg he was sitting on, startling the borrower immensely due to the loud noise.
“The main characters huh, maybe on a internet blog, but I see myself as more of a mysterious mentor,” Techno finally got his chuffing under control as he looked down fondly at the borrower, until his eyes were drawn to movement on their left,” well would you look at that.”
Ranboo turned around to see a large turtle waddling its way towards them as fast as its little stout legs could take it, a very determined gleam in its orange eyes as it drew closer. He lightly panicked that the turtle would try to eat him, a snake had tried to eat Tubbo once, so who’s to say that a turtle wouldn’t try with him. He scrambled higher onto Techno’s body as he wanted to be out of the turtles reach as possible, but was stopped by a giant hand pulling him back down to the lap,”It’s alright Ranboo, that's just Carl, He’s a friendly box turtle and he wouldn’t eat you; didn’t Tommy.” Ranboo slowly peered over the pale fingers to find the turtle with its front legs placed on Techno’s as it looked at him with curiosity, but not any maliciousness. The hand slowly lowered enough that Ranboo was level with the turtle's face, a face that was as big as his torso, and looked up at Techno with worry. The giant just nodded with a gentle smile, causing a small bit of tusk to jut out,” he really likes his nose rubbed.” Ranboo gently reached his hand out, ready for the moment the turtle could bite for his fingers, but was amazed when it closed its eyes at his touch. The skin was slightly cool to the touch and almost felt like leather under his fingers, and like nothing he had ever touched before.
Techno watched the whole interaction with a softness at how he didn’t think was possible in his youth, here he was with a turtle leaning against his leg and a borrower sitting in his palm, it sent the voices into a fluttering warmth that left him slightly dizzy. He couldn’t help but chuckle when Carl turned his head away to give him an annoyed glare,” alright you spoiled thing, I got a carrot for you.” He reached with his free hand to pull the carrot he had swiped and offered it, smiling as the borrower took hold of it while the turtle happily munched away. A low rumble of thunder caused his ears to twitch slightly and the smell of incoming rain drifted into the clearing, and that meant this visit was coming to a end,” alright Ranboo it's time we head back, it's going to rain and I don’t want to see you get wet.” The borrower gave a sad sigh but gave Carl one last pet before climbing back up to his scarf, burrowing in to avoid any risk of water reaching them. Techno gave Carl a gentle stroke across his shell before standing, his pockets clicking with all the acorns as he stood with a groan, now wasn’t the time to go slow as another rumble of thunder sounded.
He was just starting a fast stride when a faint voice echoed from his neck, “Thanks for this Techno…Today was a good day”, before he felt the sensation of tiny arms wrapping around him the best they could. The small action sent him into a low rumbling that no doubt shook the borrower completely, but he was right, today was a good day to relax.
*
Phil could only sigh into his cup as the ceiling thudded above him as Wilbur was still chasing Tommy and Tubbo around the house, it seems like Wilbur is losing his touch. Maybe going on morning runs with Techno instead of sleeping in would do him good, but he would need to be drugged out of bed first. A loud yell of triumph almost made him drop his cup, leaving him to pinch his brow, why couldn’t he relax today.

Being neighbors with Wanda had many perks. She was a kind soul. It didn’t matter what the occasion was — if someone needed help, she was the first to step up and make a plan. She attended every PTA and neighborhood watch meeting she possibly could. Wanda was the sun of Westview, and not a single person could escape her compassionate rays. No one except her adorable little hermit of a next-door neighbor. You were a bit of a mystery in the community. You were young, just moved in, and seemingly didn’t know anyone in the area. As if the lack of attachments wasn’t enough, you were painfully shy. You had missed the first few community parties since no one could contact you. When you did attend the first pool party, all you did was sit on a floatie and drink.
Wanda was fortunate enough to be one of the few people you actually talked to in the neighborhood. Though the conversations were brief, she learned a lot about you. Most of it was through simply watching you but you were surprisingly open with Wanda. Despite your crippling shyness, you worked in retail. You had a really bad habit of putting your hand in your face when you spoke. Wanda assumed it was so you had an excuse not to look people in the eye. You also really enjoyed photography. You loved it so much, that the simple promise of taking pictures was all it took to get you out of the house. Wanda even convinced the principal to commission you to take yearbook photos.
Wanda thought you were the cutest thing to ever wander into the neighborhood. Though she denied it if anyone asked, the older woman had developed a slight crush on you. She was kind to you because she was kind to everybody, but not everyone could say that Wanda gave them homemade lunch every Wednesday. In fact, those Wednesday lunch boxes were the start of a real relationship between you and Wanda.
"Here you go, sweetheart! I made sure to add some extra Oreos in there!" Wanda was always extra bubbly on Wednesdays. She'd wait until the morning to actually pack your lunch so you'd have no choice but to sit down and warm up a bit before heading off to work. Having actual conversations and hearing your thoughts about the world was oddly relaxing for her. Any relaxation she got from that day's conversation was immediately thrown out the window when her hands brushed yours. "Your hands are as cold as ice! You're not sick are you?" Wanda carefully grabbed your hand and squeezed.
The extra touch made you jump out of your skin. "Oh! I'm fine, my heater sorta broke last night while I was sleeping. I'm working an extra shift tonight so I can get fixed, don't worry about me!!" You and Wanda had been friends for almost a year and you had yet to learn how she worked. Every time you told her not to worry, she would only worry about you more. "I got a heated blanket and a lot of pillows on my bed, I'll be fine for a few days!" A brave smile spread across your face with the hopes of getting Wanda to relax about your condition.
Wanda pressed the back of her hand against your forehead. Your temperature was fine and you seemed to only have the sniffles, but she wasn't going to leave you out to the wolves. "Fine, but let me make you some soup for lunch!" Before you could refuse, Wanda took the lunch box out of your hand and headed back towards the kitchen. "There's some pancakes leftover from breakfast this morning if you want and I'll make sure to make extra dinner tonight so you'll have something warm before bed."
Your heart nearly exploded out of your chest. Just taking lunch from her once a week made you feel guilty, you'd never live down having her feed you three times in one day. "No, that's not necessary! I'm sure what you made me today is enough," You said as you reached for the lunch box. "Plus, isn't tonight when Vision comes over? I'd hate to intrude or give the wrong impression!" You continued to make grabby hands until Wanda used her free hand to cup your face.
"I'm going to make you soup for lunch and you're going to eat breakfast while I do it. Then, I'm going to drop you off at work to make up for having to stay." With her careful grip on your face and confident tone of voice, you were hopeless against her. "Vision wants to commission you again anyways. You two can talk about that over dinner." She gave your cheeks an affectionate squeeze before letting you go.
Having Wanda talk to you like that had certainly awakened something in you, but you elected to mindlessly follow her orders rather than think too hard about your attraction to your neighbor. "I'm sorry, but I can't do any more photography right now…my lens got scratched up and I can't afford to replace it right now." Opening up to Wanda was a slippery slope. One minute you're lamenting about your struggles and the next she's draining her wallet just to help.
Wanda nodded along as she began to cook. "Ah, well he won't need it until early next year so there's enough time to get that in order! What type of camera do you use?" She felt bad about taking advantage of your misfortune, but it was the only way you'd accept a gift from her. "Oh, and there's some juice in the fridge if you want."
Had you not been busy eating, you would've noticed the trap Wanda had set up. "Oh well, I'll use any camera, but I mostly prefer digital cameras over anything." The feeling of a homecook meal filling your stomach was wonderful. "This breakfast is really good, thank you Ms.Maximoff!"
Wanda sighed as she put a glass of juice next to your plate. "I told you, Wanda is just fine. You make me feel like I already have grandkids."She playfully flicked your forehead before turning back to the stove. "Also, a broken camera won't get you out of dinner. It'll be ready as soon as you get off work!"
You let out a sigh of defeat but continued eating. "Okay, just promise not to go overboard because I'm gonna be there. You know how you get with guests."
❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆
Wanda had decided to take step back after having you over for dinner. You spent days desperately coming up with ways to pay back her kindness. After enough pleading, the two of you settled on just having you entertain the boys while she went gift shopping. Though Wanda was hesitant to leave you with the boys and take up your weekend, she left anyways.
After being stuck in dreadfully long lines and the densest traffic she'd ever seen, Wanda didn't exactly have high hopes when she returned. Billy was calm on his own, but Tommy had a way of bringing his brother out of his shell and into his world of chaos. Which was to say she was rather surprised to see her sons resting peacefully on the couch with you sandwiched in between. "Oh, this is definitely a first."
You looked up from the tv and smiled. "Yeah, Tommy was a bit of rugrat. Turns out he really likes puzzles though, it's a really easy weakness to exploit." You carefully moved out from between the twins. "I can help bring the gifts in if you want. I don't know how long these two will stay asleep when they realize I'm gone."
Wanda didn't bother trying to refuse you. "I would really appreciate that. Just hide them in Vision's old study for me." She handed you off the first few bags she brought in the house. "Do you have any plans for Christmas?" It was a simple question, but one that made her unreasonably nervous. "I mean, you probably do, but if not there's always a seat at my table for you!" She batted her eyelash and flashed the prettiest smile she could. "Even if you just step in to say hi, it'll make me really happy."
Rather than answer her, you just kept bringing in bags. You couldn't tell her the truth. There weren't any Christmas plans and you would just spend the day cooped up in your house. Wanda wouldn't let you do that. "Welp, that's all the gifts! Hope you and kids have a nice winter break!"
Wanda grabbed your coat sleeve before you could walk out of the house. She pulled your back flush against her chest. "I'd really appreciate it if you showed up." Her hands slid to your front and zipped up your jacket. She considered giving you a kiss on the cheek, but the moment was ruined by her twins' disgust.
"Noo, don't let mom give you cooties!"
You burst out into laughter at Tommy's interjection. "There's no cootie giving here. I promise your mom doesn't like me that way." The words sounded neutral leaving your mouth, but they disappointed you. "I'm sure Ms — Wanda wants someone her own age and more capable." You giggled to lighten the mood. "Well, I'm off to work! Call me if you need help wrapping stuff!"
"Fine, but the offer still stands!"
❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆
Christmas day had arrived and you were nowhere to be found. The whole neighborhood and their relatives had packed themselves into her house, but you were just a ghost.
"Wow Wands, I'm surprised you haven't been showing off that new plaything of yours yet." Agatha's teasing voice filled the air. "Their car's still parked. They can't have gone far."
Wanda frowned at Agatha's description of you. "They're not my plaything and even if they were, I wouldn't show them off like some dog." Deep down, she knew part of that wasn't true. She'd happily show you around like a new puppy if you'd let her, but you weren't hers to show off. Not yet at least. "I'll go check on them, but promise not to say anything weird if they come over." Wanda grabbed her coat and made her way to your front door. At first, she just looked around to see if you were there. Maybe you'd been picked up by someone else when she wasn't looking out her kitchen window and hoping you'd walk over to her house. The adorable sight of you sleepily hunched over your laptop was all the confirmation she needed.
The knock on your door startled you. You climbed off your kitchen countertop and opened the door. Wanda standing in front of your door with her arms crossed was not what you expected at all. "Oh, hey Wanda." You stood up straighter and fixed your clothes. "Is everything alright, do you need me to watch the boys?" It confused you when Wanda shook her head. You peeked over to her house and noticed all the cars lined up in front of her house. "Oh, your Hanukkah party! How's that going?"
Wanda could only sigh. "No dear, it's my Christmas party. You know, the one I invited you to last week?" She watched as your face fell. You looked like a kid that just got caught with their hand in a cookie jar. "You're not taking anything from anyone by coming. Just a few hours, that's all I want." Her heart nearly exploded watching you shift from side to side.
"Why are you so nice to me all the time? I'm just your neighbor." Being defensive when you had no excuse wasn't a good habit, but you'd rather die than have Wanda waste another ounce of her kindness on you. "I'll be fine. My heat is back on and I've got enough food. Just go have fun." You got ready to close the door only for Wanda to put her foot in the hinge.
"I'm nice to you because I like you." It was Wanda's turn to blush. Karma for all the times she'd left you a stuttering mess for her own amusement. "I understand if you're not interested, but every time I see you I just get the urge to take care of you. It makes me sad seeing you overwork yourself and huddle up in your house all day." She gripped your door frame hoping you'd be at least kind enough to reject her softly.
Your heart was beating a thousand miles a minute. None of the words swirling in your head made sense. You were overjoyed at Wanda's confession, but you didn't wanna seem like a nerd in front of her. "...I'll…I'll go to your party, just let me get washed up first." You slowly opened the door and let Wanda into your home. "Sit down if you'd like, I'll be showering upstairs."
While you showered and rehearsed your own confession, Wanda roamed your house. There wasn't much, but you cared for what you had. The video games were neatly stacked and organized, your couch and furniture had just been cleaned, and the fruit washed and ready to eat. "You really do a good job at keeping… What is that?" The compliments on your house care were cut off by Wanda's astonishment at the sweater you choose to wear.
You looked down at your sweater and smiled happily. "Oh, I got it from the store I work at. I didn't get to wear it last year so I'm bringing it out today…do you like it?" The graphic skeleton with a Santa hat, mug of hot liquid, and decorations in its chest cavity wasn't exactly what Wanda expected of your style, but it was cute on you regardless.
"I think it's very cute. Now let's go, people we ask questions if they don't see me after a while."
You grabbed Wanda's hand and tugged it before she reached the door. "I really like you too. I understand if you want to go slow because of the boys, but I'm willing to commit." The seriousness on your face was foreign. "I'll try not to be such a hermit!"
Wanda kissed your cheek and simply led you back to her house. It was obvious you had practiced your confession, but she could always tease you about it later. Thankfully, not many people noticed how long she was gone so you were able to sneak into the crowd without too many questions. Of course, nothing escaped Agatha's watchful eyes but Wanda shielded you from her invasive questions.
Christmas was the first time you had stayed until the end of an event. Sure you had the ulterior motives of making a good impression on Wanda, but you genuinely had fun and hadn't noticed the hours ticked by. Cleaning and putting the boys to bed took a while, but you were satisfied to see Wanda's house back to its original state.
"Here! I meant to give you this when you first came over, but you were too busy partying to notice." Wanda carefully placed a box down on the countertop and smiled. She giggled at your hesitation. "You're not gonna refuse a Christmas gift from your girlfriend, are you?"
The title made your face hot. "That's a low blow, especially for you!" You carefully pulled off the wrapping paper and lifted the lid. Your heart stopped once you saw what was inside. "Wanda, this is almost a thousand dollars worth of equipment! I can't accept this, I didn't get you anything."
While you mulled over a way to pay Wanda back, her mind began to wander. "I can think of a few ways you can pay me back," She whispered. Her hands cupped your face and pulled you in for a kiss. It was a lot deeper than the ones she imagined giving you before. "A few more of those and we'll be even. Yeah?"
"Yeah."

Merry Christmas, Baby 🎁 - An Attoye Hallmark crackfic
- words: 2.5k+
Summary: This is a hallmark Christmas romance between Okoye, a big city businesswoman, and Attuma, her childhood crush boy next door who owns a Christmas tree business, and his dad isn’t Santa or anything, so chill out.
I put no effort into this, it’s purely for fun
Tumblr media
༄ ♬ ˚₊ ➳ 💙⚔️❤️ ➳ ♪ ❀ ༄
It was a cold, snowy day, and the laughter and shine of joy on the streets was thick in the winter air.
Snow fell on the windows, the trees, and the cars in the parking lot, a perfect white blanket over a city that seemed to glow from the inside.
Okoye stood at the window and watched it fall, snickering at all the stupid people who celebrated Christmas and believed in having fun instead of working every day all the time.
It was a week from Christmas, and she was at work. She was always at work. She didn’t remember a time when she wasn't at work, especially at Christmas.
Okoye loved work, money, and the big city, but not Christmas because of her tragic past. But we’ll get into that at a later, more convenient-to-the-plot time.
Okoye sighed, sipping the coffee cup she was holding. Her best friend and the CEO of their company, Carol Danvers, was going to throw a party, and everyone would be there, including her lesbian sister, Maria Rambeau. But who cares? That’s another very gay story.
Okoye’s associate and technology manager, Shuri, walked into the room and slammed many amounts of critical business on Okoye’s desk. “Okoye,” she said, “we have many business to attend to this holiday season.”
Okoye rolled her eyes. She couldn't stand Shuri. She was annoying and always tried to bring joy into Okoye's life, but it wasn't happening.
”We need to get all this business done before Christmas so I can spend it with my Dilf Husband, Cha’htoh, or maybe my wife, Riri.”
Okoye scoffed and placed her coffee on the table in a Grinch way. “I do not care for romance and love; keep your Dilf away from my business! I will complete this business by myself!”
“But in order to complete it, you must travel to Christmas Town! A small, poor, warm, cozy town where you were born!”
“I will go to my hometown by myself and complete this business. That is all, associate Shuri Udaku.”
Shuri sighed as Okoye sat down to start on the business, tapping at her computer. “Oh, Okoye…” she lamented, “I hope you learn the true meaning of Christmas…”
And then, with a blink of an eye and a clap of her hands, the annoying associate Shuri was gone, and the door closed with a bang behind her. She must’ve been a magical negro. But Okoye cares not for magic or negros.
Okoye got back to her business, ignoring the feelings she may have in her heart because she never felt those feelings of joyful Christmas. She packed her bag in her office somehow and left for the airport in a big limousine, sighing wistfully at all the passing Christmas-flavored families.
The airport was cold and dull like her soul. She hated Christmas but had a good time listening to the Christmas songs because they reminded her of her tragic backstory.
The plane took off and she sat there and thought about her tragic backstory.
When it landed the airport this time was smaller and more warm and cozy, the planes were in a lounge sipping on hot cocoa. That’s how cozy it was.
This was truly her hometown.
She rented a car and drove down the icy road until she reached the only inn in the village, the Wakand Inn.
It was a beautiful log cabin with a fireplace and a warm glowing light.
The old inn keeper smiled at her and grasped her hand. “It’s Christmas, honey. If you need anything, just ask.”
She went to her room and laid down, sighing as she looked out the window. It had begun to snow, and the world looked soft and cozy and warm.
A feeling bubbled up inside her and she tried to push it down. This was too Christmas, she didn’t have time to Christmas, she was a big time lawyer or something like that.
She closed the curtains, and decided to go out and do some business. She put on her long trench coat and black suit and stepped outside, the snow crunching beneath her shoes.
There was a little shop across the street that was still open, the perfect place to put a big city law firm or accountants place??? Idk
She stepped into the store and found it empty except for a tall figure in a red flannel button up with sleeves rolled up who was bent over the counter, doing some work.
He turned around and smiled at her. Oh, It was the man who made her feel things in her chest. He was hot and sexy and tall and tan and thick and just overall a Mayan god, but he was too Christmas for her to love.
“Hi.” He said, his voice smooth and deep like dark chocolate. He flipped his long wavy hair over his shoulder and wiped his for some reason dirty hands on a wash cloth. “I’m Attuma. Welcome to my Christmas Tree shop.”
“Hi…” Okoye said, looking around. “Are you the owner?”
Attuma chuckled, his eyes glinting. He had a little scruffy beard on his jaw that Okoye thought was extremely sexy. “Yes, I own and operate this store. How can I help you?”
She cleared her throat. She had no time for love and romance, she needed to complete her business. “I’m here on behalf of the Milaje Corp. and we were interested in going into business with you.” She handed him many papers.
Attuma nodded. He had a strong jaw and beautiful deep brown eyes and his arms were veiny and his muscles bulged from all his small town work. He took out the papers and began to look them over, the gears in his mind turning.
Shaking his head, he handed her back the papers. “No, thank you.”
Okoye blinked in confusion.
That had never happened before.
Never ever.
In her entire time as a business woman, this had never happened.
He crossed his arms over his chest and smiled a charming smile.
“But, Mr. Attuma-“
“Just Attuma is fine.”
Okoye narrowed her eyes at him and his smile widened a bit. “Mr. Attuma. This contract is very generous!”
“You want to tear down my Christmas shop. It’s the own shop in town. Literally, there’s no other shops in the whole town.”
“But sir, this will make you very rich!”
“I don’t care about being rich, I only care abour Christmas and love.”
Okoye groaned. This was so not sexy or cool of him.
Attuma chuckled. He leaned across the counter, his hands flat on the wood, and his eyes stared deeply into hers. “Maybe you should learn more about this town and Christmas?”
“No.”
Attuma sighed, “if I can’t convince you to love Christmas by Christmas, I’ll sell you my Christmas Tree shop. Deal?”
Okoye thought about it for a moment. She was going to win, that was guaranteed, and she would be able to do her job. But what about his feelings and what if she did end up liking Christmas??
Okoye reached out and grabbed his hand, shaking it while holding his line of sight. She had to win, she had to.
She wouldn't let herself lose.
It was on.
Attuma pulled her hand towards him and kissed the back of it.
Okoye felt her insides burn. Then she heard bells, she looked towards the window and saw children playing happily and grimaced.
“I will show you what Christmas is all about, Ms. Okoye.”
“Okay.” She said, shaking her head at the happiness outside, “Wait, I never told you my-“
When she turned back, Attuma was gone.
Okoye shrugged, and headed back to her inn.
She went to sleep, dreaming of Christmas.
She hated it and beat Santa to death in her dreams.
<<<
Okoye woke up the next day, groaning as she stretched and pulled the blankets over her face. It was still early, she had time to sleep before her first business meeting.
A loud banging at her door made her jump. She groaned and pushed herself up, rubbing her eyes.
Who the hell was knocking on her door this early in the morning? When she approached the door, fully dressed suddenly and with two scarves on, the door opened.
Okoye froze.
Attuma was standing there with a grin.
And a tray.
On the tray were many, many plates.
He handed it to her and walked into the room, pushing her aside gently. He sat down at the table by the window and crossed his legs, gesturing to the chair opposite him.
Okoye looked down at the tray, then back at him.
It was filled with all kinds of food.
Pancakes.
Waffles.
French toast.
Crepes.
Scrambled eggs.
Eggs Benedict.
And bacon and sausage and a bowl of fruit.
Was this too much for one person and even four people? Yes, but it was Christmas and nothing mattered.
“So,” Attuma started watching Okoye as she began to fake eat the hearty breakfast for eight marathon runners, “Why do you hate Christmas so much?”
Okoye sighed and swallowed a big bite of food, trying to avoid Attuma's intense stare.
She was an amazing business woman and didn't feel the need to answer his stupid question. “It’s part of my tragic backstory. But that’s none of your business.”
Attuma pouted, leaning across the table. His long hair was tied back and Okoye couldn’t help but think about how his hair would look down.
She hated him.
And Christmas. But especially Christmas.
He shrugged and stood up smiling,
Damnit.
Attuma stood and grabbed her by the arm.
She protested and fought and squirmed, but he was a big muscly man. Who yanked trees from the ground for a living because he was a small town boy next door heartthrob but the last thing she was looking for was a man.
He pulled her out the inn, down the stairs and onto the cold, snowy street.
The children laughed and played, building snowmen and igloos and making angels in the snow. Okoye wrinkled her nose.
Attuma sighed. He had a dreamy look in his eyes as he watched the children. He really loved this town, he would get Okoye to love it again too.
“I remember when the town would gather to celebrate Christmas, singing carols and drinking cocoa, lighting the tree and dancing around the bonfire. Remember, Okoye?”
Okoye sighed and nodded her head. All she wanted was to complete her job, and the sooner, the better. But she did remember how she used to love Christmas, before…
Her thoughts trailed off. No, she had to finish her business and go back to her cold city life.
They walked in silence until they reached the town square. The Christmas tree was there, surrounded by many happy people and decorated beautifully with lights and ornaments.
Suddenly the Christmas magic became so big and beautiful and it overwhelmed Okoye with the power… of it… the magic.
“Okoye,” Attuma said, taking her hand and wiping a Christmas tear from her cheek, “I feel like I’m falling in love with you…”
“Attuma,” Okoye sniffled, “This eleven minute walk has been enlightening… I love Christmas and I love you! Let’s get married!”
“Yes! Okoye, you have taught me the true meaning of Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is marriage.” He said, pressing a tender holiday kiss to her forehead. “But… I have a dark secret, I have to tell you…”
Okoye gasped, a look of horror crossing her face. “You’re gay?!”
“No, Okoye, not in this story. But I…”
“What is it, Attuma? Whatever it is we can get through it together!”
“My father… my Dad is Santa Claus.” Attuma said, dramatically. He fell to his knees, tears welling up in his eyes.
Okoye gasped and held him close, stroking his hair. Suddenly, above their heads, they heard a buzzing noise faintly grow closer.
An evil, evil helicopter flew in from the distance, flying low and fast, and circling the tree. Is that?… No! It can’t be!
“Ho ho ho!” Namor said, flapping his itty bitty winged feet in his little red shorts. “Merry Christmas!”
Okoye and Attuma looked at each other, then up at the flying elf, both wearing looks of confusion on their faces. Attuma stood up as Namor landed in the snow, hissing at the snow but he wasn’t no bitch so he took it.
“Dad?” Attuma said, confused, approaching his father.
Okoye gasped, “You’re Santa?!”
“The one and only! Merry-“
“But you’re elf sized.”
Namor grinned, “I’m travel size-“
“And why aren’t you wearing like… a suit?”
“Well, the shorts are more-“
“And your ears-“
“I’M SANTA, SHUT UP.” His right eye twitched and Okoye dropped it.
Namor smiled. He was very tan and very old, but a dilf about it honestly. Just a sexy little Christmas man. “Hello, son. It’s me, Santa Namor! And I need you to come with me or Christmas is over!”
“But Dad,” The larger son of Santa said, reaching behind him to grasp Okoye’s hand, “I love Okoye and I love Christmas, but I can't abandon my life here and I don’t want to abandon Okoye either. She left her gay friend in the big city for me!”
Namor nodded, looking at the two lovers. He sighed and shook his head as the bells jingled on his cute little hat. What a cutie patootie, that Christmas water elf king. “Well, the true meaning of Christmas… is love.”
Attuma and Okoye grinned at each other, they joined hands and it was suddenly their wedding and they kissed and rushed off into the carriage. Then Namor appeared again and did a little dance like the sky ballerina he is and sprinkled Christmas dust on them and they floated away into Christmas.
The End.
Okoye sighed and sat up.
Oh, it was just a dream. A horrible nightmare. Stretching and groaning in exhaustion, Okoye began to wake up.
Loud snoring on her left made her groan and she wrestled herself out of her big blue hunk of husband’s arms. “Attuma!” She whisper yelled. “Let me go!”
Attuma snorted and rolled over, falling asleep again.
Okoye grumbled and got out of bed, pulling a robe on and walking over to the window. The sun was rising slowly and surely, peeking over the Wakandan horizon. Okoye looked back and admired Attuma, even as he drooled and snored loud as a old rhino. Everything was perfect, exactly how she wanted it.
The door burst open and she startled, before the blur of speed in front of her turned into her son, Tadeas in her arms.
“Mommy…!” He sung sweetly, yawning but practically vibrating with joy. Tadeas smiled up at her, his big brown eyes twinkling. He had his father’s eyes, his mother’s cheeks, and a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts. Smiling softly, she grunted as she lifted him entirely into her arms. He was only six and already so heavy, just like his daddy. “Mholo ngalentsasa, Mama!”
Pressing a kiss to his forehead and then his chubby cheeks, his mother squeezed him with love. “Good morning, little rhino.”
“Big Rhino! Like Daddy!” He insisted.
Okoye laughed and set him on the bed, watching as Attuma groaned and pulled him close. He mumbled a good morning and rolled over, his eyes still closed and his hair a mess. Their daughter Xyanza rushed in after that holding a mug of room temperature tap water with a loose tea bag in it, and Okoye swooned. How thoughtful. It was wrong, but the thought was so sweet.
“Got you teatea, Mama.”
“Thank you, my sweet girl.” Okoye cooed, cupping her face with one hand.
Her daughter smiled and then rushed over to join her brother in poking Attuma until he rose from the dead.
The Wakandan sunrise was beautiful, the warm, gentle light spreading across the land and touching everything in its path. Okoye had a few reservations about celebrating this colonizer holiday with her children; the capitalization on the holidays, the price upticks, the decorating…
But seeing them now, Attuma leaning up to fight her both his children against his chest and carry them with squeals and smiles to the living room to begin opening presents… Okoye had to admit, maybe the true meaning of Christmas was love.
Or maybe it was spending money and having a good time, she wasn’t sure yet.
But she had to say, the way her family felt now, was absolutely magical.
Merry Christmas.

NFL Week 2 Winners and Losers

Week 2 is over, and the games were wild. We had some great winners and some really bad losers. Who made the list?
     WINNERS
Alvin Kamara and the Saints
Nobody took the Saints seriously when they smoked the Panthers 47-10. They were going to have their "real test." vs the Cowboys in Dallas, and it seemed that the Saints were on their bye week.
For the second straight Week, the Saints scored more than 30 points in the first half, taking a 35-16 halftime lead. Saints running back Alvin Kamara scored 3 touchdowns in the first half. The Saints would continue to dominate the Cowboys in Dallas, 44-19.
Kamara racked up 4 touchdowns and 180 yards on 22 touches. The most he's come close to this state was on Christmas day vs. the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, when he scored 6 touchdowns and 155 yards on 22 carries.
The Saints scored 91 points in their first two games of the season. The last and only time the Saints scored 90 points or more in their first two games was in 2009 when they scored 93 points; they won a Super Bowl that year with Drew Brees under center. Are the Saints this good?
Matt LaFleur
The Packers were without starting quarterback Jordan Love, while backup quarterback Malik Willis started vs the Indianapolis Colts. Willis had a good game. Completing 12 of his 14 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown, but LaFleur pounded the run game vs the Colts.
The Colts gave up 213 rushing yards last Week to the Texans, and that's one thing Matt LeFleur knew he could do to hold off the Colts.
Green Bay ran the ball 53 times out of their 67 snaps on Sunday, racking up 263 yards. Running back Josh Jacobs ran 151 of those yards. The Packers squeezed past the Colts 16-10.
Green Bay ran the ball so much that they had the ball for 40 minutes of the game. That is the most Time of Possession they have had in a game since 2020.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
After a quiet NFL debut in his first NFL game, the fourth pick overall, Marvin Harrison Jr., had himself a game vs. the Rams, hauling in 4 catches for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns. The first 2 catches that he had were for touchdowns.
Harrison JR. only had one catch for four yards last Sunday during the Cardinals' loss to the Buffalo Bills, and there was a lot of buzzing about whether the Cardinals were using Harrison enough. It seems this past Sunday was the answer to whether Harrison was involved with the offense.
Austin Seibert
Austin Seibert became the Washington Commanders' number one kicker over the Week, as the Commanders released kicker Cade York. and Seibert delveried.
Seibert has kicked 7-of-7 field goal attempts, and the Commanders beat the Giants 21-18 by just kicking field goals.
It's rare to hear anybody from Special Teams named the MVP of the game, but I'm sure Seribert will be the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
     LOSERS
Bears O-Line
The Bears have had offensive line issues for the past decade, and they seem to be worse this year.
Chicago has given up 9 sacks in the first two games of the season, which is first in the league. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was sacked 7 times on Sunday Night during their ugly 19-13 loss to the Houston Texans. If Chicago has any chance at succeeding in the offense, that offensive line needs to be addressed ASAP, or at this rate, Williams will be traded to the Steelers in two years.
New York Giants
The Giants have had a rough start to the season, losing to the Minnesota Vikings 28-6. There was little to no offense in that game. However, the Giants scored 3 touchdowns and still lost, but that's not the stinger.
If it wasn't for their 1st round draft choice, Mailk Nabers, dropping a crucial catch late in the 4th quarter while tied at 18, New York lost to The Washington Commander by 7 field goals to a score of 21-18. Can you imagine scoring 3 touchdowns and losing to a team that picked up a new kicker in the middle of the Week, and he drops 7 field goals on the Giants
Sure, it didn't help that the Giants lost their kicker, Graham Gano, to a hamstring injury during pregame warmup, so the Giants were hopeless during the PATs.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers seemed to have gone from bad to worse, losing to the Los Angeles Chargers, 26-3.
The Panthers have been outscored 108-13 in their previous four games and 73-13 this season alone; they've also managed only 3 points in the first half of the last two games.
Carolina will take a different approach this Week against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Panthers are benching the former first-round pick and turning to backup quarterback Andy Dalton to start.
The Panthers are trying to win so badly that they don't care how silly they look after trading DJ Moore for the Bears' first pick overall and then some.
Daijahn Anthony
The 7th-round rookie out of Old Miss will have a game he'll label "Rookie Mistakes."
Bengals cornerback Daijahn Anthony had two PI penalties called on Sunday during their matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. The last was too costly, as the Bengals were leading 25-23. The Chiefs had the ball on 4th and 16; the Chiefs quarterback threw a pass to wide receiver Rashee Rice, but Anthony pushed Rice out of the way, drawing the flag. Anthony was called for pass interference, and the Chiefs got the first down and kicked the game-winning field goal, winning 25-26.
This will be the game he'll remember not to do, especially against an excellent Kansas City Chiefs football team.
Did I miss anyone this Week? Who were your winners and losers in Week 2
