i wanted to make some dinky elevator pitch introductions for my fav ocs because.. i dont talk about them very coherently it seems. or at all! what!!

to finally make up for that i'll put my extended edition under the cut below. love peace taco grease and stay frosty forever

so from what i gather in my notes, razz is the only recognizable one around here who got their lore blasted from a megaphone the second i came up with it. after that i got shy.. i was too busy having thoughts to ever explain who molly and Q were or where they came from. and its been like 2 years. well!

nat and molly are formerly codependent childhood friends and funhouse mirror versions of each other who split paths after high school. theyre like if two besties fated to be a detective duo spat on fate's shoes and ran off in different directions to do the same thing but badly & alone.. molly actually hit the books to become a private investigator, champion of truth and justice, while nat hit the pavement to become a paparazzo, champion of clickbait. they hate each other a lot but given the slightest chance they will attach at the hip again and drain the life from each other.

Q is later to the party, a terminally exhausted college dropout and shut-in with a notable (anonymous) presence in the online music scene. every slight inconvenience in his life is a straw and when the last one hits boy is he ready to just drive into the sunset or maybe the ocean or maybe just live in his car and stop talking to people forever. if the band they joined out of peer pressure makes it big or they get found out for their alter ego its so over..but luckily they started dating the most nosy and paranoid idiot alive & inadvertently pissed off the second most nosy and paranoid idiot alive in the process, so surely nothing like that could ever happen

these goobs run in slightly different circles that overlap juuust enough to be a problem, and its hard not to run into the most annoying eccentrics in their unserious version of LA slightly stuck out of time. if i were reintroducing lore important characters itd include plenty more than just them (eg freddy mysteriously missing from this description of events as if he isnt also there) but imho i have no obligation to pay attention to anything outside the range of my hyperfixation blast. the important thing to me rn is just to let yall know what the hell im talking about when i make stupid jokes everyday about girlies who dont exist <3

turns out my fucking glasses have the lenses put in backwards :| to be fair, if the arms were off it'd be difficult to tell which is which because they're vertically symetrical but. still.

btw what's the skull in your icon? Is there significance to it and the circle?

oh, the skull and circle aren't anything to do with the palestinian flag, my previous icon was this exact icon with a red and white background, but I replaced the background with the Palestinian flag to show my support, while still being recognizable to anyone who follows me .

The original is my take on the Faction Paradox icon from the old (now resurrected?) website.

Faction Paradox is a spinoff of Doctor Who, or more specifically the Eighth Doctor Adventure novels , with the namesake Faction Paradox being a group who's signature style is wearing skull masks and skeletal armor, with the most elite amongst their ranks wearing the paradoxical skeletons of Time Lords mutated with a (vampiric?) plague that never actually existed in this time line.

part 2 of some oc intros!! more below the cut again

since im on a roll with oc transparency, i figured id make a sequel post :p !! these are some of the 'main gang' of my mind as well, despite not being.. quite as frequent brainworms. i still love them for their wacky demeanors and im glad to try n give them more time in the spotlight!!

freddy is a talent manager to the stars, as long as ur counting stars very generously. hes still rather new to this business and appropriately desperate to make a name for himself, so he spends a lot of time and energy on trying to turn washed up losers' lives around - by whatever means get the job done, and in whatever vaguely positive direction he can think of. he's very social but wildly incompetent at making a good impression, so he lands himself among a crowd of ppl who really cant do much better themselves. if youve seen him around it was probably from playing out his role as the frontliner in his dubious business partnership alongside Eyes. he works closely with a lot of the rest of the cast whether they really wanted him to or not, as part of his mission to "know a guy" for every possible scenario. will YOU be one of the guys?? lets find out

noemi and kita ive been posting about more frequently, so u may recognize them already: the cocky robotics engineer coasting on a childhood of outside praise for her savant capabilities, and a somewhat recently sentient AI whos excited to be part of the real world. theyre a bit tangential to the usual hollywood crowd but got themselves involved suspiciously of their own accord. maybe i'll end up explaining that maybe not. u dont know. but regardless theyll be appearing a lot, so any questions can & will be answered ^_^

This is the old demo for the original Wolf Quest game, which came out in 2007. It lets you play the first Quest on the first map, Amethyst Mountain. You have to learn how to hunt, then find a mate. You can then run around with your mate continuing to hunt and leveling up.

The new game will not be using the same "Level" based style of gaming but will instead be an actual open world game where you can do any quest on any map and the game will transition much more smoothly between the stages of life rather than continuing the old fashioned idea of levels being tied to goals being tied to maps.

The old game is definitely still fun to play on its own, and especially with the free demo there's no reason not to try it lol.

They also have the old game available for mobile, but I'm not sure where to find the demo for that, you might just have to check your phone/tablet's app store?

Wolf Quest Anniversary Edition, the overhauled brand new modern version of the game does not have a free trial, because the maps are more than twice as big as in the old game, so even just Amethyst Mountain all by itself is a game in and of itself. It only costs $20 though, and you can see lots of gameplay videos on youtube if you want to see what it looks like before you buy it.

And when you buy Wolf Quest AE, you also get the full version of the old game included for free, which means you get to go to the Slough Creek and Lost River maps. In Slough Creek you get to raise pups until the middle of summer when the game ends, because that's where the "Level" ended.

Daenerys Missandei Irri and Jhiqui!

Irri wears Dothraki clothes. She wears long trousers, which are blue fabric with a fringed panel of leather along the inside of her leg and groin. She wears leather boots with green, white, and purple painted swirls on them. She wears a dark leather belt around her middle and a belt of gold discs over it. The central gold disc has a green stone. More blue fabric wraps around her chest, either pleated or wrappings. Over this is a painted vest, primarily decorated with blue, green, and white. On her upper arm is an armband with an illustration of a horse galloping in grass. She has leather wrappings on her wrist and opposite upper arm. She wears one visible ring. She wears a leather necklace with a triangular gold pendant and gold triangular earrings. Her hair is in at least three braids, tied off with gold beads. She has bangs. She wears a woven headband of green and blue, with jade stones. Her face is neutral.

Jhiqui also wears Dothraki clothes, although hers do not look practical for riding. Her clothes are primarily fabric of a deep raspberry color. Along the outer side of her trousers is a stripe of leather, fringed at the end, painted with pink and pale purple flowers. On her chest she wears a beaded brooch shaped like a flower, with pink petals and a green “stem”. She wears slippers, in the same material as the rest of her outfit, with a decoration of pink flowers on yellow around the heel. Her vest is laced closed over a green and gold under layer. Her vest is trimmed at the hem with gold discs. Around her middle is a dark leather belt, with a thin belt of gold discs over it. She wears a leather necklace similar to Irri’s, with a circular gold pendant with a garnet stone. Her earrings match this pendant. She wears two rings. Her arm band is gold and garnet. Her hair is worn similarly to Irri’s. She has a bracelet with chips of green jade set in silver on a leather cuff. She has a nose piercing with a gold chain that leads to her earring. revisiting crassus, clodius, and the bona dea scandal! but this time with a new composition and a limited color palette

originally when I drew the first version of this idea, it was back when I thought that crassus would be a week long fixation at most (lmao), and instead he just. took up permanent residence in my mind. it seemed like a fun thing to go back to an earlier idea and see what changed now that I've spent a lot more time with everyone involved in this era!

also the way these two interlocked politically. I am. biting into it.
