Chakorasana or the Partrigde/Moonbird Posture is the traditional exit Vinyasa of Eka Pada Sirsasana or the One-Leg Behind the Head posture in the Intermediate Series or anything that involves the leg behind the head posture and also part of the Advanced A Sequence where you hold this posture for 5 long deep breaths in the Ashtanga Yoga System. Chakorasana is of the powerful arm balances in Ashtanga Yoga. In order to lift up, we all have to stabilize the shoulders while sending the hips up and forward with the power of your core.
