genuinely i appreciate dallon weekes so much. dude wanted to learn guitar but wasn't allowed to get one until his midlate teens, then promptly switched to bass instead. went off and started the brobecks even though his family didn't want him to go into music, and ended up enjoying decent success on the utah scene. met his future wife over myspace, then actually met her for real on very short notice when he needed a place for the brobecks to crash for the night in la after a show. fell in love with said wife over the course of that night and has written multiple songs about it since. showed up to audition for panic! at the disco without knowing how to play any of their songs. came back a little later and got the gig anyway. wrote some of patd's best music after ryan ross. during that time wrote more than one song supporting his wife's bi/pansexuality. stayed tethered to patd for most of the 2010s, then decided 'fuck this' in his mid-30s and left to start a band for shits and giggles that denied its existence for a wholeass year. said band has since grown into a kickass indie pop act and dallon has incredible stage presence, with a voice and range better than brendon urie's in the present day and very gender-envy worthy energy to boot. what an icon

sjcdrums: We would like to send out a huge congratulations to Brendon Urie on his announcement on becoming a father and for closing out an incredible journey with Panic! At The Disco for the past almost 2 decades.

We’d like to thank Brendon, Dan, Crush Management and the entire Panic! At The Disco team for their support of SJC Drums from the very beginning.

We first made Spencer Smith a kit to use when the band went into the studio back in 2005 to record A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out with Matt Squire, and we are grateful for their trust in us to have created some incredible works of art with them over their entire career.

From their iconic performance on the MTV VMA’s in 2006 with the first ever wood light up kit (which absolutely blew my mind to see the drums made Spencer on MTV!) to the acrylic and light up drums to the 3D printed kit we recently built with Dan, we’ve had the priviledge of pushing the boundaries on what custom drums could be and the P!ATD team was supportive of us at SJC the entire time.

washhh your new pfp has reminded me of the time i saw cobra starship and the academy is supporting patd in 2008, me, some friends and like 20 other people waited outside the stadium at the end to see if we could see the bands when they were leaving, anyway gabe ended up walking on the other side of this glass door, and because i was the closest to there when he walked past, 15 year old end of concert sweaty ass me got pancaked up against the glass by everyone clamouring, and then we made prolonged eye contact and he fully pointed and laughed at me. anyway

3) Panic at The Disco - Live in Denver is the best way to listen to my fave PATD Album AFYCSO! Ryan’s vocals are stunning!

4) Save Rock and Roll is an icon and Phoenix is my go to hype song!

soo first of all I've always loved queen, like I've had the biggest queen phase a couple of years ago and still listen to them
