I can personally vouch for the Garbinger Harbinger+Beyond gigajuice strat. Fracturing orbs solidly exceed the value of investment, and I don't see that gap narrowing any time soon. Caveats are that it requires a good build, and if you're not running 8-mod giga quant maps you're basically pissing away money...but it's so fucking juicy.

I usually run a Harvest/Expedition packsize strat until I get enough seed money to craft or fund a juicier mapping method so I can grind a Mageblood and start enjoying the game. But this might be a situation like Sentinel league where your average player can easily get a Mageblood by selling shovels (fracturing orbs) to the turbo-crafters now that recombs have basically been cracked.
