Time travel and multiple universes

Time travel and multiple universes. Is it possible to travel through time or even to other universes? Yes. I have been doing both.

How is this possible? Tesla's device and the cowardice of Congress. When they murdered Tesla and stole both his device and papers it began a war of freedom. Freedom of choice. Freedom of life and the right to live one of one's choosing.

Until one of three events occur, I will make this a journal of a small fraction of experiences and devices' uses, without detail of construction of said devices. Congress is stripped of Tesla 's device and removed permanently. Two, we are sent to yet another universe or three, the planet is destroyed.

Not a pretty choice...the last, but when those murdered again and again, people like Challenger crew, Princess Diana, Paul Walker, for wanting freedom from control and Congress saving people like Sanjay Gupta, three of their own and Al Roker from deaths that were the results of their COVID-19 (June 2020) and a blood clot August 2019) reaching the heart, there must an end to their slavery, their desire to be a god must be done.

Tomorrow I must begin the process of creating a teleport. It is necessary in order to acquire funding for technologies to both aid in this war and, like many universes ago, open windows to hundreds of light years away...for exploring purposes.

I really hate this body. Placing the obvious aside, with its medical problems, it tires very easily.

I didn't have as many low level resistors as I wished, so I am forced to take a "short cut"...as I label it. With the health issues of this body and lack of all necessary resistors, I have gotten the first teleport ready for soldering.

I am going to try to rest awhile. Maybe I will regain enough energy to solder and test it today.

Now, for those 'hooked' on time travel, I can give you information on what occurred, in the previous timeline, in regards to both the missing Sebastian Rogers and the two missing women whose car was found abandoned on Oklahoma 95 and Road L.

Will it be the same? I don't know. I can only say that my family and I are moving through universes and timelines more often now than ever before. Most recent move has been a short few months ago.

In the last, Sebastian Rogers was found hiding out near a farm...sometimes in a greenhouse at a school. He was fine. It was said that he was angry about not getting an expensive pair of shoes like a friend of his.

The two women? Before we were moved to this universe...this timeline, one was found dead on a farm. The other...the person has not been located at that time.

Again, this information was from one of many timelines, universes we have been in the last short few months. How many? I would say three to four.

My next device to be created, after the testing and, if need, if supplies permit, adjusting, will be the exterior planetary window.

Wow! Getting old can be tiresome. Teleports. I did the math on several. It seems that between the poor battery, poor power cord of the phone and the many difficulties of this body, I seem to only labour half a day. Having said that, I have given a lot of thought to making teleportation available to the masses. My decision...is not yet.

I still need a means to make the environment more suitable for us. As result, I am going to use another part of the technology to solve both 'dead end' homicides and missing persons. How? Easy for me. I will begin, once paid and given the correct exact information, will open a door to the event and record it with either a cellphone or video camera.

Wait?! Proof...proof! Okay. I have calculated a well known death event... Nicole Brown Simpson. I calculated to open the door on the 20th of April.

I set this date in order to adjust the door to make it invisible from the target's view. When it recorded it I will post it by the next day. After posting, I will be finishing a website to launch to assist in gaining clients.

I have been working hard today! Not on the door to save Nicole Brown Simpson...yet. That must wait until Monday, as long as my supplies last. I have three other devices that require attention first. - This is due to needing to teach some interfering retards a lesson for trying to interfere with our survival and my work.

I almost finished the first today. It will be complete tomorrow and the next will begin. I project, considering the idiocy I am currently having to deal with, that, should supplies last, I will be able to save her by Thursday of next week.

I calculated the electron formation of the device for Nicole Brown Simpson murder too low. It will take me past the moment to get the door to open, so I must recalculate and reconstruct the device again. This will not happen until next month.

Why did I not give it the proper calculations in the first place? Simple, the higher the rate the easier it is to pass from one moment to another. In the last universe I did this, the person who committed the act of murdering them actually tried to pass through the door to use the very same knife to stab me in the stomach. Fortunately the rate was low enough to delay the teleport.

I need to get more supplies. I hope to have them before the middle of next month. I have scheduled a live demonstration...the viewing of Nicole Brown Simpson's murder as it occurs. I completed the moment calculations. The last part of the calculations must wait for the supplies.

The true purpose of the demonstration is in one part advertising a paid service I will be offering. The other is a message to all who have committed so many acts against us believing they will not pay proper accountability for the acts.

Not enough supplies!...I am going to construct several other devices...unfortunately they took will be inaccurate due to not having enough supplies to focus the electron fields. I hope to narrow the variation in a teleport to Daytona to try to get the funds to acquire the supplies.

For those of you who believe in time travel, my teleporting to Florida in its recent past, " my current self" will know nothing of this move until this moment. Now, if you're beliefs lay in a single universe, in time travel, then, there will be currently a record of my laboring in Florida for the past six months. If there is none then you have no idea of anything.

If there is such a record before I teleport there, then your masters in DC have been controlling everything of everyone on the planet in order to obtain a fictional position of becoming a god.

This is what is going to happen...First, I launched a website early. Seeing as I don't have the supplies to open doors to record events of the "past", I am hoping to gain customers from the site to change this. I did have enough to build a weapon with a shield embedded in it. I have had it for more than a week. Due to the fact that every universe so far, the mentally retarded, Congress, and their most loyal crybabies have attempted multiple assassinations up I me in two small less than nothing small towns and in Daytona Beach. - This was specifically because I refused to not construct some of the technologies that I am able to construct. Technologies from invisible shields, doors and windows across the galaxy and in humanity 's past.

In previous universes, I have saved people...only to see video reports, with video evidence, members of Congress, using Tesla 's device, re-murder those same people, cover it up, because those same people made demands that the technology be removed from Congress' control and destroyed... leaving me to save people that do not die of natural causes. - Princess Diana. Paul Walker. And a great many more...some not known for 'fame'.

Now, like so many universes ago, I find myself having to prepare to teleport a number of retards to either the center of the planet or to 66 million years into the past.

I do this because warnings fall on deaf and blind retards.

How many assassination attempts has it been? At least half a dozen. Four by town cops. (All of which my family and I were waiting for aid in food or buying food.) Four by county cops. (Three by a cop creating a distraction. One when we were leaving for Walmart for groceries.) One in by a retarded woman working for government agency. - It was an attempt on my family while I was checking the mail.- One by a U.S. Marshall ordered by Desantis, who in turn, told me later that it was orders from Congress. By his words, it was because I would not stop constructing these technologies. Congress could have these technologies created and used forcing them to either destroy their copy of them or forcing to use them to do what I have been doing...saving lives, gaining information from other places in the galaxy, teleporting from place to place and opening doors to.other universes. They felt if it turned towards my being'permitted' to do these things, then it will leave no place for governmental rule or control.- When we teleported to the beach in Daytona so that my family can enjoy themselves.

Their goal...find some way to eliminate me.

I had to let the phone charge up. It is difficult most times, due to the charge cord being worn and breaks in the wire.

During this period, I began reflecting on all of the acts done upon us since our being murdered so many times, so many universes. In that drift, I wound up focused on the mentally retarded woman, who, in this universe, had shot, in a previous universe, during the month of November 2023, through the wall of the place we have stayed in many universes, and in this one. The retard, while I was checking the mail box, after checking it, beginning to turn to return, she got my attention. She had what looked to be a 40 caliber hand gun. She pointed straight at the wall and shot. The bullet just missed my autistic son.

Ever time I see that retard, regardless of the universe, I get flashbacks of the event. I, in several universes, and will continue until she has paid for it, teleported her somewhere else. The first time, I teleported her to China. They and the U.N., in turn, sentenced her to one year in prison for trying to start a war between universes. -The motivation was due to the technologies I both had and could construct. - Congress didn't want her punished due to the fact that they held out hopes of someone being able to stop me from constructing said technologies and using them to save others - those who died of 'unnatural causes', at best, 'solve' unsolved disappearances' or 'cold causes', for funding at least-, make a living, and even opening a door to yet another universe.

The difference between universes, I found, have been in fiction that has been produced in the 'past' and, with my staying in the shadows, changes in actions and responses to events.

Fiction. I have been trying to rest for a few days. Last night I decided to watch a Deep Space Nine, Season 13, episode 6. I have seen this, like so many other episodes and fictions in other universes. I find so many differences. In some universes, I like how they played out. This one...it was better in other universes.

In those, compared to this one, characters died differently. In at least one of the other universes, the was a strong widow, who owned the diner, straighten out a man who was trying to bully her into not selling the diner to the black couple. The black writer was approached half way through the show by a competitor publisher with an offer of employment. When the black writer was refusing publication of his story by his employer, he left for the competitor. In the end, his work was published. The new employer made a statement to the effect of how other businesses needed to learn to change with the times. The episode ended with the writer 's girlfriend running the diner and the writer happily writing a continuation of his characters' lives and adventures.

Again, the version of this universe falls far short of being both entertaining and showing human growth.

I suppose some things are beyond others' reach...

Well,...the decision has been made. It will be 1990 Daytona that we will travel to. The trip will and must take place in July. The area target month will be January. - I hate the heat more than the cold.

Survival. When arriving, I intend to offer services in closing cold cases. If course, the retards better no try to demand any of the technologies. Should anyone, I have decided to teleport him/ her/ or them to the liquid core of the planet.

I watched a YouTube video nearly a half hour ago. It was about an alleged discovery of a planet seven trillion years away, which the claim was possible city lights.

Many universes ago, I opened a door to a planet 620 light years away, on its surface. From the outside of the planet, I saw only one large land mass, the rest was ocean. The land was light brown, with greenery in the distance. I saw something in the far background that may have been an animal lifeform. - My eyes have attainable considerable damage through the years, so I could not be certain.

Having released this experienced event, I may, after I deal with some retards that seems to want to test both my tolerance for them and knowledge of technology that is far from their "mental development", try to locate said planet and, first open a window outside of it. Verifying the lights, let stage two be opening a door on the surface to view what may or may not be there.

Of course, due to the required supplies, the idiocy I must contend with and the child molesting Congress striving to fulfill some false dream of becoming a god, it maybe at some point in 1990-1993.

Funny...this body has become so old and easily tired out. It, even after taking both blood pressure and heart medications, it has a lot of trouble dealing with the heat.

As a result, devices that require constructing must be done during the early day. Stating this, I have half of a device completed, in identifying components. The other half must be tomorrow. Then the bringing them together.

Is it not sad that our thoughts about the Holy Spirit are so often coupled with grief and self-reproach? Yet he bears the name of Comforter, and is given to lead us to find in Christ our chief delight and joy. But there is something still more sad: he who dwells within us to comfort us is often grieved by us because we will not permit him to accomplish his work of love. What a cause of inexpressible pain to the Holy Spirit is all this prayerlessness in the Church! God grant that our meditation on the work of the Holy Spirit may be matter for rejoicing and for the strengthening of our faith!

The Holy Spirit is ‘the Spirit of prayer’. He is definitely called by this name in Zechariah 12, 10: 'The spirit of grace and of supplications. 'Twice in Paul’s epistles there is a remarkable reference to him in the matter of prayer. 'Ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father’ (Rom. 8.15). 'God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father’ (Gal. 4.6). Have you ever meditated on these words: 'Abba, Father’? In that name our Saviour offered his greatest prayer to the Father, accompanied by the entire surrender and sacrifice of his life and love. The Holy Spirit is given for the express purpose of teaching us, from the very beginning of our Christian life onward, to utter that word in childlike trust and surrender. In one of these passages we read: 'We cry’; in the other: 'He cries.’ What a wonderful blending of the divine and human cooperation in prayer. What a proof that God - if I may say so - has done his utmost to make prayer as natural and effectual as though it were the cry of a child to an earthly Father, as he says: 'Abba, Father’.

Is it not a proof that the Holy Spirit is to a great extent a stranger in the Church, when prayer, for which God has made such provisions, is regarded as a task and a burden? And does not this teach us to seek for the deep root of prayerlessness in our ignorance of, and disobedience to, the divine instructor whom the Father has commissioned to teach us to pray?

If we desire to understand this truth still more clearly we must notice what is written in Romans 8.26, 27: 'Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.’ Is it not clear from this that the Christian if left to himself does not know how to pray; or how he ought to pray; and that God has stooped to meet us in this helplessness of ours by giving us the Holy Spirit himself to pray for us; and that his operation is deeper than our thought or feeling, but is noticed and answered by God?

Our first work, therefore, ought to be to come into God’s presence not with our ignorant prayers, not with many words and thoughts, but in the confidence that the divine work of the Holy Spirit is being carried on within us. This confidence will encourage reverence and quietness, and will also enable us, in dependence on the help which the Spirit gives, to lay our desires and heart-needs before God. The great lesson for every prayer is - see to it, first of all, that you commit yourself to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and with entire dependence on him, give him the first place; for through him your prayer will have a value you cannot imagine, and through him also you will learn to speak out your desires in the name of Christ.

What a protection this faith would be against deadness and despondency in the inner chamber! Only think of it! In every prayer the triune God takes a part - the Father who hears: the Son in whose name we pray; the Spirit who prays for us and in us. How important it is that we should be in right relationship to the Holy Spirit and understand his work!

Our United Prayer:

This might not be controversial in your circles, I don't know; it certainly has been in my life.

Your take on miracles seen as 'supernatural' still happening in this day and age? Such as healing someone 'stand up and walk' style or transforming substances? Adjacently, interacting with the unseen things - not only the demons we rebuke but the angels that are our allies?

Alright, this one could get proof-texty if I let it and that would be not so much a take as an essay, so I’m going to splatter up a handful of short bullets instead and you guys can poke me for further clarification or to object if you want.

👻 I’m a cessationist, which is a schmancy term to describe what I believe about the miraculous gifts of the Spirit we see in the New Testament accounts, namely healing, prophesy, and speaking in tongues.

👻 Definitions matter. We are talking here of the ways these gifts manifested themselves to members of the early church. I am not saying that God does not still heal people or that no one has ever miraculously understood a language not their own.

👻 I am saying that these gifts are no longer dispensed as gifts, that is, as abilities that the gifted person can wield at will. If you have the gift of teaching, you carry it around in your pocket and can apply it whenever you like all your life without a special zap from the Holy Spirit to kick it off. If there were still members of the Body who could do this with healing cancer or raising the dead, we would have records of it.

👻 But the main reason I believe this is not evidential, but theological. In Scritpure, miraculous abilities were given to men who were speaking with the authority of God Himself. Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Christ, the Apostles… “The God of Abraham has told me to tell you…” The fact that reality itself obeyed them was was meant as an evidence to the fact that God had chosen them to speak His word to the people.

👻 We no longer need men like this. Why? Because we have a perfect spoken Word. Hebrews 1 says:

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.”

God has spoken to us with authority and finality in the revealing of Christ, and this speaking needs no improvement. The apostles were writing Holy Scripture and so the miraculous gifts they wielded (at will—Paul could heal anyone he pleased, but even this gift shows evidence of decline in his later writings as the completion of the written canon approaches) gave credence to their words, in a similar way to Moses who came before Pharaoh, spoke the words God had given him to speak, and then backed them up with real physics-breaking miracles.

👻 As for the question regarding the angelic realm, I’ll quote Jack regarding the dark side:

“There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight.”

And regarding the light side I’ll say that we have zero scriptural evidence of human people being the ones to initiate angelic contact (I mean this like—no one summoned a “good” angel at will, as far as I know—they arrive on the scene at God’s bidding and not man’s). We have no instructions from the authors on how to lawfully interact with angels besides being hospitable to strangers, because we might be unknowingly entertaining a messenger of God.

I grew up in charismatic circles and learned many unscriptural things regarding the supernatural and the ways Christians should interact with it, so it’s very possible I am overcautious now to compensate for that. God seems to wish for us to let Him worry about the heavenly hosts and their fallen counterparts, because there just isn’t a lot of solid teaching on our relationship with them. We’re to be obedient: this causes the devil to flee and causes the angels to rejoice. But still our orientation is toward Christ.

There is no "perfect lyctorhood". John was lying, God always does. It was a cruel and convenient lie that made the only people who truly love him hate him, but that was preferable to the shame he was hiding.

louis def acts like claudia's dead (sharing her diaries etc) but he may blame lestat, the coven, and/or himself for it. it's hard to imagine him knowingly calling the guy who killed claudia the 'love of his life', but i guess it depends on how things played out, how much he knows for sure, and how much his memory has been altered. paul's death was ambiguous enough that it potentially could've been suicide, louis had no proof either way, but imo claudia's death will leave no such room for doubt

Alright, I'm obviously heavily influenced by the books here, but... yeah, I mean, that is what Armand tries to do, he tries to put the blame of Claudia's death onto Lestat.

However... Louis doesn't buy it. And yet... he stays with Armand. Now, as I said, I can see the show do the parallel to Paul (in regards to Louis' behavior), but imho there will be no real doubt that he knew... and stayed regardless. Because at that point... he just didn't care anymore.

That is one of the many, rather hard to stomach things for "us", the readers, the audience. Because yes, there is no doubt.

The show has given us a few hints already, that they might go a similar way. While Armand is with Louis in the 70s Louis is far from "happy". It is implied he is going after drug users, so he can get that high from the blood (and numb himself), he mentions he expects to be killed by someone, because he did a terrible thing once. He attacks Daniel there, and Armand saves him.

Louis is a bit of a loose canon. He may seem very collected and sensible, but he is a vampire, and he does snap. And when he snaps... ^^

Personally, I don't think Armand altered all the relevant memories, I don't even think Armand did it to "better himself" in Louis' memories. I think he did what he did because he thought it would ease Louis' suffering. Make it easier for Louis to deal with what happened. (And Armand has his own bone to pick with Lestat)

And as per the "love of his life" comment... well. They've already given us the info that it is a callback to The Graduate.

There is no doubt that Louis loved Claudia, almost desperately. But that love wasn't enough to save her. It wasn't enough for him to actually consider what she wants or listen to her. And that is part of the guilt Louis carries, too.

A DIVINE REALITY

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

Throughout this month, take some time every day, or at least for the next two weeks, and meditate on the verse of scripture above. Lie on your bed and repeat them out loud again and again. Walk around thinking and muttering, “Christ is in me.” I did this many years ago and it sure transformed my life. I needed to capture the essence and reality of that verse. I wanted it to soak into my spirit, and it did!

“Christ in you” isn’t a religious talk; it’s a divine reality. Sadly, the power of that reality isn’t yet as effectual in the lives of some as it should be. That’s the reason for their whining and grumbling; the lack, headaches and fevers they complain of! It’s the reason some have wounds, sicknesses and diseases that are said to be incurable.

How could you be sick, if indeed, Christ indwells your physical body? Remember Aeneas; though a Christian, had been paralysed and bedridden for eight years. Then came Peter to his house. All that Peter said was, “Aeneas, Christ makes you well: get up!” Immediately, the man was healed.

Peter understood the reality, the power and the essence of Christ living in a man. What did Paul say in Romans 8:10? He said, “And if Christ is in you, although the body may be dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness.”

Before Christ came into you, your body was death-doomed or death-prone. You were susceptible to the curse of sin and were therefore subject to Satan, condemnation, sickness, disease, poverty and death. But then the Bible says, “…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11). This has already happened. The Spirit lives in you now and has given life—vitalized your mortal or hitherto death-doomed body.

Your life, now that you’re born again, is death-proof. You have to insist on that, otherwise, you’ll be buffeted by the elements of life. But when you consciously meditate on Christ and His life in you, He’ll manifest Himself in your physical body and dispel everything that’s not of God. Christ in you is the greatest blessing of all!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the Christ-consciousness that inspires an extraordinary boldness in my life and causes me to live every day, exuding joy indescribable and full of glory. I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Blessed be God!

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!


2 Corinthians 5:16,17

At the beginning of a new year, we desperately want an answer to this question: Can people change? That is, given enough time and effort, can I change my old habits and habitual sins? And, in a world characterized by selfishness and tribalism, can I change the way that I view other people?

Well, consider the man behind today’s Bible passage. Twenty years before he wrote these words, the apostle Paul was “a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man” (1 Timothy 1:13). He hated Jesus and Jesus’ disciples, so he hunted them down and arrested them.

All that changed when Jesus blinded him with light, spoke to him from heaven, and sent a man named Ananias to preach the good news to him, to baptize him, and to shine the light of faith in his heart. That’s how Paul became “a herald and an apostle and a teacher of the true faith” (1 Timothy 2:7).

Paul is proof that people really do change. And God continues to change people to this very day. When you become a Christian, God changes you from dead in sin to alive in Christ. Because of Christ, when God the Father looks at you, he sees someone clothed in the perfection of his Son.

Because of Christ, when you look at other people, what do you see? That every single person—regardless of their age, their race, their economic status, or their politics—is someone for whom Christ died.

The Son of God does not see you as some hopeless, lost cause of a sinner. You are an heir of eternal life, and that changes the way you look at life. You don’t have to be selfish anymore. You don’t have to be angry anymore. You don’t have to lose control anymore. You have been changed. You have been forgiven. The new is here.

Continue reading the succeeding verses of chapter 17. We are at the tail end of Paul's 2nd missionary journey. In the beginning of Acts 17, we were with Paul & Silas in Thessalonica & then in Berea, also joined by Timothy. Now we find, alone in Athens.

is known as Paul's Mars Hill Sermon-it is one of the areas in the Bible that show us how to tell people who have a totally different worldview about the wonderful truth of God & His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.

KNOW THE CULTURE

Culture is the way of life of a group of people, the way they do things. It is the outlook, attitudes, values, morals, goals & customs shared by a society. While Paul was waiting for Timothy & Silas in Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he was observing the city full of idols. 

Acts 17:16 New International Version (NIV) says

Athens is like the capital of the  world back then. It was the birthplace of philosophers. That city had so many idols that they say it was easier to find an idol than a person! Are we much different today? Tim Keller defines an idol as "ANYTHING MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU THAN GOD. ANYTHING THAT ABSORBS YOUR HEART & IMAGINATION MORE THAN GOD. ANYTHING YOU SEEK TO GIVE YOU WHAT ONLY GOD CAN GIVE.". Any thing can be an idol-even the best things in life-ourdreams, ministry, job, achievements, kids, etc. We were created to worship & whatever we worship, we will serve, & whatever we serve controls us. If we worship something that is not deserving of worship, it will corrupt & destroy us.Paul was deeply disturbed by what he saw. Do we feel the same way when we see the world around us? Because of Christ, we should not be provoked to an anger that is proud, but to a sadness that disturbs us within because we see people who have not tasted the goodness of God & so are worshiping whatever or whoever they can. To see the culture we have to first see what is really going on in our own hearts..then our eyes will be clear to see the culture in the context of God. We should know our culture with the goal of making Christ known. If we want to do our best, let us take time to find out where people are coming from. If we really love someone, we would want to know more about them so we can better understand them & know how to reach out to them.

TAKE A STAND

In Acts 17:22 New International Version (NIV) says

22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.

we saw Paul making a stand for the Gospel. Paul knew the culture & was able to establish a common ground with his audience. He stated his observations-how religious they were & the altar he found with the inscription "to the unknown god." Paul uses this as the springboard to making Christ known, as a bridge to the gospel. Paul serves as a great example for us-how we can connect with people & translate our faith, in order to win some for Christ. The question is, are we ready & willing to take a stand where we are-in our family, school, workplace, industry? Let us ask God for the wisdom, courage & strength to be able to do so. Let us be good stewards of the platforms God has given us & shine for His glory!

TEACH GOD'S WORD 

In Acts 17:24-following New International Version (NIV) says

24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.

Paul begins his defense by giving them the right theology about God-God as our Creator, the sovereign Lord who is not served by human hands but gives life to all. The Athenians thought they were a superior & better race so Paul challenged that 

in Acts 17:26-27 New International Version (NIV)

26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

saying that God made from one man every nation & determined their appointed time & place that they would seek God. Paul also quoted their own poets 

in Acts 17:28 New International Version (NIV) says

28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[b]

as a bridge to point them to God's truth. Finally, he presented God as a judge & calls them to repent 

in Acts 17:30-31 New International Version (NIV)

30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

In Acts 17:32-34 New International Version (NIV)

32 When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.” 33 At that, Paul left the Council. 34 Some of the people became followers of Paul and believed. Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others.

we see the different responses to Paul's sermon. Some began to sneer, some wanted to hear more & some joined him & believed. When we make Christ known, not everyone will believe. Let us do our part & leave the results to God. We may find ourselves making mistakes as we try to make Christ known. When this happens, we can take them to God & ask Him to make up for our mistakes. There will be challenges but let us remind ourselves of 

Acts 1:8 New International Version (NIV) says

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

the Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnessed! If we spend time in God's word & know our culture, we cannot help but make Him known! Let us remind ourselves of the love of the Heavenly Father each day & carry that love to the people around us. 

John 17:23 New International Version (NIV) says

23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Good evening, I have a simple question: why is the resurrection of Jesus so important for our faith, and why does it have to be real and not just a metaphor? I'm sorry for asking something as elemental as this, nonetheless a clear and detailed answer would be very useful. Best regards. M.F. The answer from father Angelo My dear, 1.  Saint Paul says: "if Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins. Then those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are the most pitiable people of all" (1 Corinthians 15, 17-19). The resurrection of Christ is essential to our faith for many reasons. 2. The first reason is this: Christ did a lot of miracles as a confirmation of His divinity, but faith is the strongest of them all. 3. With miracles, Christ manifested his absolute power upon nature (he commands the winds and the seas, and he's obeyed), upon matter (he turns water into wine and multiplies the loaves and fishes), upon diseases (which are cured thanks to his will, or a touch of his hand), upon demons (he forces them to obey him and flee), upon death (because a single word from his mouth made a dead man resurrect from his tomb). 4. However, we can say without a single doubt that the more important action supporting this claim of divinity can be found in his resurrection. All the miracles he made were a premise for men to welcome a far greater reality: "I lay down my life in order to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have power to lay it down, and power to take it up again. This command I have received from my Father" (John 10, 17-18). Jesus came back to life thanks to his divine power. Therefore, with such proof of his divinity, we are sure about whom we are following and we can affirm "scio cui credidi" ("I know him in whom I have believed" 2 Timothy 1, 12). 5.  The second reason is this: Jesus rose from death into glorious and incorruptible life, not to die ever again. In other words, he didn't turn back to mortal life as Lazarus did, but went forward. He entered with his humanity into the life of God. This is how he defeated death, by opening a passage through it. Death ceased to be the last word upon man and his life. This is why Saint Paul said: "We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more; death no longer has power over him" (Romans 6,9). And it is exactly because he defeated death and opened the doors of paradise to mankind that he gave us the aim to go where he is: "Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me" (John 17, 24). Without the resurrection of Christ, we would be aimless. In fact, after death nobody has the right to enter in closeness with God and be His friend and confidant. But Christ merited all this for us with his passion and death. And he opened the passage with his resurrection. 6. And there is a third reason: by dying and resurrecting Christ has realized the ancient prophecies of a Messiah. In Isaiah: "Yet it was our infirmities that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, While we thought of him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins, Upon him was the chastisement that makes us whole, by his stripes we were healed" (Isaiah 53, 4-5). And he had to resurrect as predicted in the sign of Jonah: "no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights" (Matthew 12, 39-40). 7. In his Pentecost address, Saint Peter sees the resurrection of Our Lord as a promise already made through David. And he applies these words of the Psalm to Christ: "because you will not abandon my soul to the netherworld, nor will you suffer your holy one to see corruption" (Ac

ts 2, 27). Therefore according to the scriptures, in order to be the Messiah Jesus had to resurrect from the dead. If he didn't, he wasn't the Messiah. And if he's not the Messiah, he couldn't have atoned for our sins.  8. There's one last reason: with his resurrection, Christ orients our conduct because in either case with death we wouldn't get into Paradise.  We must be enabled to enter it. This only happens if we die to our sins and live a new life according to the sentiment of Christ. Saint Paul says: "as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life" (Romans 6, 4). And also: "our old self was crucified with him, so that our sinful body might be done away with, that we might no longer be in slavery to sin" (Romans 6,6). 9. As you can see, the stakes are so high that considering the Resurrection a metaphor would be like emptying the faith. The apostles have traveled the world, faced many perils and shed their blood: all this wasn't endured for a metaphor, but for a real event to which they bore witness. The evangelist Luke points out at the beginning of his gospel that he investigated "everything accurately anew" (Luke 1, 3) about "the events that have been fulfilled among us" (Luke 1, 1).
