Now that I’m semi-caught up on work, I’m torn between asking for character info trade type questions or just “hey come chat with me, my inbox is always open” stuff, yelling random unprompted character facts into the void, or staying quiet out of a self-conscious fear of bothering people.

500 Followers?! 100 Posts!? So Many Milestones!!

Ahhhh! I don't even know what to do with myself! 😆 Omg, you all are so incredible, and I'm super excited to announce that I now have over 500 followers, and I just reached 100 posts!!!

As a little celebration, I wanted to do something, but I also have so many asks to catch up on, so I didn't want to do anything that would take up a lot of time, and so, I decided to do this!:

My Rough Drafts (Series?) -- R! FO4 Companions' First Kiss

It's a rough draft that I did for the 1st Kiss prompt for the FO4 companions! There was some interest expressed in me maybe posting a rough draft/outline or two just for kicks, I thought it sounded fun, and it didn't take a long time (since it was already done lol), so I could get it out super quick!

There's some more info below the cut on that, but once again, I want to thank you guys for being so supportive and SO patient lately, I love all of you, you all are amazing, and I hope you enjoy! ❤😭

So, this is what I put down right after I get a prompt, I just fire out some ideas really quick, some of them stick and I go through with them all the way to the end, while others change two or three times, or get completely scrapped and I end up doing something completely unrelated to the rough draft at all, lol. A lot of the time, I'll put something down quick, and then think of something new when I'm driving or something, and then come back and write that idea down instead, so you'll see some idea changes of mine exemplified below.

What's below is completely and fully unedited since I originally wrote it (scout's honor on that). And some rough drafts/outlines/thoughts of mine are much less entertaining, but I thought this one was pretty fun to read 😅

After the vault cleansing, Cait is so joyous and relieved, that she kisses Sole and then immediately acts like it didn't happen.

Deacon:

Sole confessed feelings to him, he told her he loved her back but couldn't be with her for Deacon reasons, he gets a new face, Sole kisses him cuz she recognizes his eyes?

OR 2 truths, one lie? (is that too cliche?) Deeks has to have a hard time with it tho

→ this is all shit: they get tipsy at Sole’s house after a mission and end up smooching on the couch after Sole confesses to him, Deeks freaks out, but Sole reassures him, and a… what’s this? Second kiss ensues??

Hancock:

After confessing, he gets nervous when Sole flinches at his scarred lips, but she pulls him closer.

OR get high stargazing and talk until they're sober, confession happens when they're high, one brings it up, and Sole ends up kissing him to prove that she was telling the truth.

WHY not both!?

Piper:

Sole shows some peeps how to play spin the bottle. They coy kiss in front of people and real kiss after

OR (cuz that one sucks ass lol) Piper finds out that Sole reads every paper of hers when she tries to explain a story to them and they finish her sentence for her. She is touched, Sole reads everything? With what time? Oh, she just can’t keep it in.

Preston:

Talks to Sole about his hopes for the future and hopes that she catches on, when she seems oblivious, he asks if he can kiss her (?)

NO! DO THIS INSTEAD: post- "kid in a fridge" -> Billy gets reunited with family, Preston sees it and decides he wants one of his own… with the woman who helped him save the kid. AW

Hidden Gem 1: My raider gangbang smutl!!

I’m honestly really surprised how nice people are when commenting on this! Its literally an angry milf getting railed by 15 idiot prettyboy raiders and for an oc/ oc type of story I was pretty prepared for nobody to read this at all? I love this story, its funny and surprisingly cute. I had so much fun designing all these idiot raiders and giving them all their own nasty habits. I got tired of reading stories about like the whole raider sexual coercion type of vibe so I decided to make a story where its a lady coercing raiders to do her bidding and giving them a crumb of pussy in exchange. Shes an icon, I love her!

Hidden Gem 2: Okay hear me out, a plucky wasteland adventurer x a lonely fishman monster who’s got two dicks

This story is SO fun haha and I just wrapped it up. Its like a kitschy porny old pulp fiction novel. Its inspired by that comic you can find in fo4 the “Astoundingly awesome tales! Attack of the fishmen!” The wasteland needs more cryptids like cmon theres radioactive hell monsters everywhere there HAS to be something kinda sexy looking ok. Anyways this was completely self indulgent and once again I was totally surprised that people read this at all? I cant imagine people are searching “Female Sole Survivor x Mirelurk King” so therefore i’m counting this as a hidden gem lmao. If you read this please mind the tags, its got some freaky shit going on! It ends cute though, I refuse to write anything besides happy endings!

Playing fo4 again... Went and found Mr Danse. I already knew that he's a fascist except for like in our hearts and minds postgame, but it's still hard just. Hanging out with him while he's like "DEATH TO MINORITIES <3"

Ok I've played fo4 for a few hours. And I'm not really hooked. Idk why :(

Here's my initial thoughts about it: (readmore bc long. Also if you hate seeing me livepost about fo4 you can block "#pia plays fo4")

This might make me sound really stupid but its been pretty confusing so far? I feel like I don't understand what a lot of the mechanics mean- like all the symbols in dialogue, I didn't know I was doing a persuasion check until it told me "persuasion attempt failed" and the guy I was talking to started attacking me LOL. The interfaces are all really hard to look at too it's hurting my eyes 😵‍💫

And I feel like I picked up a lot of weapons from enemies and it's hard to tell what to use, all the names are so similar and I don't really know what any of them mean, it's very overwhelming. I'm also having a hard time telling if weapons and armor break and how to repair them?

Also do all shops buy and sell stuff at like a 90% markup?? Why does Trudy want to buy my gun for 16 caps but sell me the same gun for 150 caps? That's mean, I killed a drug dealer for her why is she trying to scam me now?

Also the fact that I immediately got power armor and a minigun and killed a deathclaw was really startling like I feel like I missed something.... I'm surprised that happened at the beginning. I guess it's to show how eventually you'll be really strong once you have more batteries for your power armor? Also I spent like 30 minutes wandering around trying to find the power armor in the first quest. That's just because I'm stupid but im mentioning it anyway. I also had to look up how to get out of the power armor because I pressed every button on my keyboard and checked the controls tab and still couldn't figure it out. I swear I was less stupid when I played new Vegas the first time.

I also might need to try playing a different kind of character, because I was going for a kind of loner, out for themselves type of character but that's a little harder for me because I naturally just want everyone to hold hands and skip in a circle together.

I also feel like I don't really have anything to do yet besides help Preston and I'm not sure that would be the first thing my character wants to do, so maybe I should make the kind of character who wants to help Preston and it'll be easier. (I'm afraid I'll end up making Delilah 2.0 if I do that though)

LAST THING I DIDN'T KNOW CODSWORTH WAS SUCH A CATTY BITCH, CAN HE STOP BEING SO JUDGEMENTAL??
