An older event that I finally got drawn out. A crazy interaction I had while running late to work!! As always these are sloppy and just drawn in pencil, but I do try to clean it up and add a little shading in Photoshop.

Since it's been so long, here is the cover, pages 1-7, and character concept art of my in-progress webcomic "Love Potions Won't Work." This is what I spent most of my hiatus updating and I'm hoping to have more pages ready soon (between my other eclectic projects). After the comic pages, the character concepts are in this order: Sunny, Joy, Mari, and Merlin.

This series will feature macabre imagery and body horror. I'll tag appropriately as it shows up in certain pages or art I'll make.

Sunny has her eye on the cute squid girl she's been seeing all over town. Though, past experiences and low self-esteem make her reluctant to approach her love interest. But the problems don't stop with what's inside her head vs her crazy reality in a world with aliens and monsters. (Pending description).

Children’s Fun Fact Science Corner

[ID: A WTNV comic featuring Cecil and Carlos. Cecil is a thin white man with an undercut, and Carlos is a thin brown man with curly hair. Cecil is sitting at his desk, he smiles and says into the microphone, "to be hosted by our town's chief scientist himself today! Can you believe it!" He then nudges the mic to Carlos, who is sitting beside him. Carlos folds his hands in front of his face and inhales deeply. When he opens his eyes they are lens flaring. Cecil looks startled, and the mic gives feedback noises. The next panel is labeled as being two hours later, and Carlos is standing up and presenting a huge, messy board filled with papers and string that spread onto the wall and desk. He’s grinning and talking persistently into the mic and still got lens flares over his eyes. Cecil is leaning back with a blank expression and raised eyebrows. The view zooms on him as some of the falling papers hit him and he thinks, "We aren't even on air anymore." End ID] 

Listening to the podcast I wondered why they never gave Carlos the science segment of the show, then I thought maybe they tried at one point and something like this happened.
