But morgana can't be heard by people who don't have a persona (I think?) so he probably has one. And the only person we know who would have a persona is the one who's causing people to go insane randomly. He's a detective too right? Maybe he's the one to tell lawyer lady or the police about joker. That's my theory so far.

i love foreshadowing. i live for it. akechi's confidant, specifically the rank 8 scene, has some of my favorite subtle foreshadowing. some of the best foreshadowing is done through music. during the duel with akechi, the music is the same as the palace rulers -- appropriately titled blooming villains (which in of itself is a really interestingly composed track). and the fact that the guy just points a gun at the protag. it's so good because 1. if you haven't played the game before, you can predict his arc, and 2. if you already know what's going on, it's incredibly satisfying to be in the know with the game. i think i could write a whole literally analysis on the scene and what it means for akechi's character as a whole.

ive only had futaba for a day and a half and if anything ever happened to her i would kill everyone in this room and then myself. but i wish the other phantom thieves would stop pressuring her to do so much stuff so quickly. she JUST left her bedroom for the first time in forever please stop pressuring her to go to the beach.

most unrealistic part of persona 5: a weird app keeps showing up on this teenager's phone and he doesn't go "aw fuck i have a virus, shit, how do i get rid of this, has my identity been stolen, aaah"

Haru Okumura is so fucking funny because she's really good at being intimidating, but absolutely incapable of being mean.

When she first meets the Phantom Thieves, she tries so hard to be mean and she's so fucking bad at it. She does try! She wants to stick up for her new friend, Morgana! These are the people who made him sad! They deserve it!!! It just ends up coming out like:

"you guys SUCK and are MEAN and.... you are stupid!!! you guys, uhm... Don't know how to be Phantom Thieves!!! And another thing!!! ..... uhm....*leans over to Morgana* I've forgotten what I was supposed to say, what was my next point...?"

But she's also actually genuinely frightening!!! She takes an inordinate amount of pleasure in killing Shadows and she just off-handedly says sadistic shit that is horrifying to everyone but her. She's incredibly violent, but she's still always polite, prim, and proper, and that contradiction is genuinely more frightening than if she were just straightforwardly aggressive and rude.

Haru could (and would!) gladly hurt a man, but could not successfully hurt his feelings. Which is why her weapons of choice are a fucking grenade launcher and an axe instead of diplomacy, I suppose.
