now that I’m having some semblances of thoughts I think that it would have been neat if Sabrina and Daphne found some of Henry’s and Jake’s old clothes in their room at Relda’s house cause c’mon she would keep all of those and like there wouldn’t be any reason for them to just be gone y’know? also I think that Daphne would’ve loved to try on some of Relda’s hats and maybe been given some of her old jewelry and stuff!!!

Dressed up nice today. I only ever do this for funerals or weddings anymore. A nice (and cheap) dress. Nice shoes. Hose. Wore the fancy shawl I made despite it being triple digits.
Of course everyone commented on it. "You should dress up more often!" "This is a good look for you, you should do this every day!" "You look great in a dress!"
Thanks I guess? But no. I refuse to do this unless it's required or I want to show respect. I fully intend to not have to dress up fancy again until next year. It's back to nerdy t-shirts and men's capri shorts. I'm much more comfortable and feel much more like me. Might even cut my hair super short this week just to get past the uncomfortable feeling today's clothing has left behind. Don't get me wrong; I picked everything out and loved it. But it's not me. It's who I'm willing to be for the people I love when it's needed.

one thing that always makes me cry is that when i was 11 i wrote this 14 page research paper on the big bang (i was a fucking crazy 11 year old. i won the science fair by doing my project on ionic wind as a means of levitation, read wuthering heights for my independent reading book, was in 8th grade math, and won my middle school's greek olympics) and my principal happened to be walking by when i was presenting and sat in on my presentation and then wrote an email to my mom letting her know i was presenting on stuff he taught to college students when he was a professor and she printed the email to show it to my grandparents and after they passed away we found the email still in my grandma's purse
