Do they have any scars or tattoos? (good way to get into literal backstory) 

Felix is trained in firearms, so tbh I think he's got some little nicks and burn scars on his hands from not handling it properly at first.

I feel like he absolutely has a small tattoo somewhere where he could hide it, then show it to Riley in a moment of "vulnerability" (*cough* emotional manupulation *cough*).

I'm not exactly sure what it would be yet! My instinct is saying some kind of bird, or maybe a constellation, tho the latter seems too on the nose for someone who holds Orion's bow.

Describe the place where they sleep. (ie what does their safe space look like. How much (or how little) care / decoration / personal touch goes into it.)

If anyone else is going to see his bedroom, it is pristine as possible. Tucked blanket and sheets, a couple tasteful art pieces on the wall. If Riley is going to see it, he'd have a favorite book of hers on the bedside table, or have a room spray with a scent he knows she'd like.

If no one is going to see it, then his room would be very mundane. He'd have a few extra blankets thrown onto his bed, or a few mugs and water bottles scattered around. Maybe some photos of Riley (or less creepy things) he's particularly proud of taped up.

Generating concept with AI

In today's class we used Chatgpt to generate some idea for project 2. I thought it was a good starting point. However, me and other classmates soon realised the some of the ideas Chatgpt generated for us are somehow similar. The only idea that struck me is Nature Reclaim. I am planning to do some wildlife/nature photography during the break and hopefully can aquire some usable photos for the project. For the technique used for manupulation, I would liketo give double exporsure a try.

I really like the possibilities that can come along with image transfers with a better understanding of the process. I after these first two samples, I didn't realize how many times I would have to go back in remove more and more paper. I ended up going back in about 3 times each to get it to where it is now, however I do think that each of them need one more round of water. It is a tedious process, but I would really like to explore with colored photos and/or adding other things such as embroidery, or direct application to manupulate the black and white photos.

EDITING DAY 2

Coursework and Development

On the second day of editing, when the first draft of the film was finalised, the cinematographer and I were given the responsibility to find sounds and music for the film.

The above photos shows me and the cinematographer searching for the 'school bell ringing' sound. After we found each sound we then got it approved by the director and air dropped the link to the iMac on which our editor was working on.

We also chose certain them tracks and suspense tracks to enhance our final product.

Next we worked on subtitles. We typed out the dialogues scene wide and added in to a word file so that in the end the editor just had to copy paste the dialogues.

Veer (cinematographer) and I also went down to the panty to record a foley sound of the bottle falling. We used the same bottle and the same wooden floor to make the sound seem more realistic.

We also learned about colour grading and how to use it in the FCP editing software.

The above picture shows the color grading wheel that helped the cinematographer guide our editor to help enhance our film by manupulating the color wheel. The editor added a cinema scope of 16.9 to add a sort of filter to the film. For each new scene our editor added different adjustment layers and manipulated the saturation, brightness, highlights etc.

6th-7th October 2021. Journaling. I am creating combinations of images and writing by Photoshop. In a tangible diary they are made by paper, stickers, drawings. I would like to realize a physical one, but for the moment I have worked it out in this way.
