Final Predictions for Silt Verses Finale: Carpenter and Faulkner reconciliation or at least closure, Hayward and Paige reunion, and Val reappears one last time and is possibly killed by the hand of Tainsley (just a weird gut feeling).

We get a small cameo of Shrue's family, assuming they were even real to begin with. Would be absolutely gutting if they were. Some idea as to what's become of Gage, and what happened with Brother Wharfing and that one girl, if he was ever able to help her or not. Maybe we'll learn if Eddie's still alive but considering Faulkner's track record with these sort of things...

And who knows, maybe we'll even see Sid Wright again.

Pink, I too been slowly going insane and am well and truly both not ready for the Finale at all yet very much so looking forward to it. Thank you for introducing me to this incredible audio drama, I very much so appreciate it.

Ello, I was gonna ask, is there any chance you’ll ever release the strikers comic you made again and have shipping options to Europe. Would love to own it but couldn’t get it sadly. Totally understandable if there’s reasons for you not doing, was just asking.

So, at the moment, unless there's a lot of people from Europe that want a copy, I don't think I'll be able to ship there.

VAT laws have changed in the last few years and it involves signing up for a tax license on a country by country basis even if I'm just shipping One Item. The way to get around that is to sell through Etsy, which handles the tax stuff for you, but for reasons I won't go through here, it's a bit of a hassle and they're not my favorite site to sell through.

I'll open up a Google form sometime down the line to see how many people want a copy (probably next month? Fighting off burnout so it depends how I feel) and I'll add a "check this box if EU" section to take data.

But yeah I'm glad people are still interested in getting a copy! I'm also trying to be really careful with the stock of these because printing books can be expensive and I don't like having unsold stock lying around the house.

hello, I would love to hear your magnus protocol theories if you have any?

every single one of the following theories are exactly as serious as each other, none of these are jokes at all:

the arg end page on the oiar site saying "all of that was 100% a totally fake training exercise so destroy any evidence you kept or be charged with treason" is such a massive lie <3

the oiar is the new seat of power for the alternate-universe-sorta-beholding. the magnus institute burned down and it simply didn't matter to the dread powers, they just jumped ship and let all their human servants die, which would tie-in to the pitch of protocol being more about systems whereas archives was about personal choices. a single person did manage to burn down the torment nexus institute but it simply didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

archives 'verse einsamernarr was the one who leaked those statements in 1999 mentioned in mag 68. the timelines don't quite line up, but several time stamps from the usenet forum look rather, shall I say, like they've been affected by exposure to a massive hole in reality that links to a different slightly out of sync universe.

the magnus institute was burned down by a cataclysmically angry mother who realized the extra curricular classes her kid went to was giving them "haunted by ghosts" disease.

hokay one of the arg documents pulled from a floppy disc found at an irl event had a spreadsheet in it written in german with what looks to me like dates and locations of statements (or maybe incident reports...?). I think this might have some clues about the protocol 'verse fear taxonomy, as the notes section of uncorrupted rows seem to have explanations for the events. most of them are "cats lol," but some labels ring bells for me, like "war people / warriors" (slaughter) and "avoid" (lonely), and some don't but are still spooky. "ink" comes up several times, "never again" and "unhappy child" once each. one that took place at a somerset theme park is noted with "mr b," so clearly bonzo himself is also an entity of fear.

I really think that under no circumstances are we going to definitively know what happened to jon and martin from the archives 'verse, but we could definitely see what their alternate selves are up to in this timeline. I've got nothing to back this up but I'd like to see them being evil and doing evil laughs and enacting evil actions.

I shall be real, I have no idea what the deal will be with celia ripley, I just know that it's significant that she's called celia when her alternate self chose that name AND saw a fire ghost woman. here's how agnes montag--[I am shot]

Actually! Qeustion about scp

It’s something I would love to get into but I have no idea where to begin? Is there like videos I can watch of people reading the stories? (This is probably something I can easily google but I trust people on tumblr more lol)

Pink I am so glad you asked! To start, the link to the site is here, and the very first SCP is SCP 173. And yes, there are videos of people reading the stories! To name a few, The Volgun is a good and very iconic one, Site-42 is pretty cool as well, Mr. Illustrated is someone who has some really cool SCP stuff, and there are other people I've heard good things about but haven't watched yet.

Beware of the content farms though, there are many. So many.

I do not for the life of me remember exactly how I got into SCP in the first place, but it was most likely through Markiplier and it's been a long running, recurring interest ever since. And every time I go back, I keep finding new things. And it's great.

So many skips, numerous other groups at play including various religions, entire anomalous locations and dimensions- there's a lot. I don't know where to even start explaining.

I also highly recommend checking out the various tales and canon hubs on the wiki because there is some fascinating stuff. There is no canon on the scp wiki. Fun times.

Anyhow that is, some things. Broadly. Without making this post too long. All I can really say is find a spot, mind any warnings that may be there, and dive in. And also look at the various artwork on the wiki.

I am curious, what is Dolls of new albion? I am intrigued

the dolls of new albion is a steampunk-inspired opera. it is amazing i listened to it this afternoon and it has rewired my brain

it is split into four acts, the first following annabel mcalistair, who- because of an extremely unhealthy obsession- brings a guy called jasper back from the dead, putting him in the body of a doll.

although she eventually realises that this was not a good thing (dead people do not like being put in doll bodies and they really do not like being brought back from the afterlife), the rest of the acts follow her ancestors as the city of new albion is changed dramatically several times as a result of the dolls, starting with annabel's son discovering and recreating her work, then continuing on as each ancestor is extremely Not Normal about jasper in their own unique ways.

its got really interesting themes of objectification, repeating cycles, and the difference between how we view something and how it truly is.

the characters are all little bastards and i love them each one of them

there are a few recordings of perfomances online (including one with tim meredith. as in gunpowder tim the mechanisms. playing annabel's son edgar), or bc its an opera (no dialogue only songs) u could just listen to the album. its less than an hour and a half, so a fairly short watch/listen time

its the first of a tetraology of operas about new albion. i have not listened to the others yet but i know they will only make me less normal
