Months back I made a joke about how my dnd pirate crew would need to sell calendars to upgrade the ship thus... a wildly elaborate secret christmas present for them—the Ocean's 69 Pin-Up Calendar—was born.

It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun, and I look forward to finally sharing the monthly art throughout the upcoming year!

For Ephie: How do you feel after The Lady fight?

Ah! It is my turn again? Uh, okay! Well, I... I am feeling a bit numb... It has only been a few hours since I arrived in the material plane with the rest of the crew and it is... A little overwhelming. Everything is warm and sunny and... The air is salty and there is water all around... It is nothing like the Feywild where I grew up, and I am unsure if that is a good or a bad thing for me right now... Change is supposed to be good, but I am going through a lot of it, and... it is challenging.

I am scared, I am... sad, I am angry, I... Feel like I am everything and nothing all at once. I miss him...

Is it bad that I almost miss how my life was before I knew everything I do now?

Probably... But it is true, and I do not want to try to suppress my emotions and thoughts anymore... I have done enough of that over the years.

But, I like this crew, these people... They are kind and helpful and... They are different. So...

Maybe I can be different, too.

Meet the lass who faced a Kraken and lived to tell the tale. Captain Nerida of the Blinding Beacon, Titankiller, and seeker of the Star Jewel.

My dm pc/lackey I created for simple Rapscallion games! She's the daughter of a nefarious pirate who is an ex-navy officer. The ship she sails is a stolen Naval vessel that's been remodeled into a pirate ship.

The first one-shot was simply to replace her lost parrot, thanks to her two first mates. What better companion to have than one you can talk to? So the crew sails out to steal a Leviathan egg or two. Somehow..it worked!

So Pathfinder did not go well last night

In fact, it went horribly, horribly wrong. Campaign ending wrong.

My character and another PC got replaced by doppelgangers, and we played our roles too well.

We rolled like shit and the villains rolled too well.

We're all trying to process it and figure out what's next because none of us wanted to be done telling this story. And we certainly didn't expect it to end in the middle of some more lighthearted quests.

Our DM was as shocked as we were.

Sometimes, campaigns don't go how you'd expect.

I'm still trying to collect my feelings. I don’t want Jhara’s story to be over. Definitely not like this. It had only just begun. My brain is trying to bargain, trying to find some way we could continue.

For now, I have to not cry over my bowl of cereal, go to work and answer emails about wiffle ball, and pretend I’m not deeply upset about a game of make believe.

Fortunately, Pluto is being a good emotional support cat.

Hi welcome to "Léa is emotional about fictional characters again"

My character's patron has been stuck in a ring for A While and didn't get to know about the world, and then my character found her and rambled about the world and explained what animals were and her patron loves seagulls and she made a little winged cat that kinda looks like a seagull 🥺

She created tressyms (winged cats, they're So Cute) because my character taught her about animals 🥺

Also i took another warlock level and picked pact of the chain (my character's a multiclass, i only had 2 warlock levels) and adopted the little guy my patron made, he's my familiar now :3
