GunnTech AU Character's Favorite Animal Headcanon to Little to None Explanation

or it's 2024, my current hyperfixation is @elmushterri 's GunnTech AU and I don't care anymore

Connor: Cats in general (for obvious reasons), but Stray and Feral cats have his whole heart. Almost every time he goes out for a run or whatever he'd bring a backpack with cat food, treats, maybe even cheap water bowls and leave them where he knows there's a ton of strays.

Greg: Geckos, it's Lizards in general but geckos are his obvious Top 1

Amaya: Everyone thinks is Owls (for obvious reasons), they were when she younger, but is currently Moths.

Nori: Crickets since they were young and Maine Coons, he thinks they match his own glamourous style sooo perfectly. They also do the 'leave food for strays' thing with the ninjalinos but incluing dogs, also he swears there's someone else feeding a specific Cat colony and reallyyy wants to meet them. (Of course it's Connor, I'm a sucker for this kind of thing)

Romeo: Ants. His mom definitely helped him do an ant colony in a bottle or a jar and he still has It, upgraded of course, but he keept the original jar.

Luna: Ferrets. Tiny, but mighty. When she was younger it was Moths and Owls.

Cartoka: Rabbits. Will correct anyone who calls them Roddents, they're Lagomorphoes.

Carly: Turtles. Everybody thinks she and Greg bonded at some point because they think their favorites are very similar, but they actually have regular arguments about the topic because Carly thinks 'Amphibians are superior' and has gotten on Greg's nerves once or twice.

Isabella "Octobella": Absolutely loved Octopous prior to GunnTech, because of its intellegence; then in GunnTech she got bullied for that, got the nickname then the transformation happened and started to dispite them (and herself). Later in life she started to redirect that anger towards GunnTech and work on her self-steem, but currently if you ask her she'll respond Shrimps. A Ninjalino asked her and agreed with the Shrimp answer saying they were cool, so she's a little more confident about that liking.

Dylan: He reallyyy wants to say Triceratops, but thinks is too childish so he says Rhinos

An Yu Guō: It's a tie between Iguanas and Dragonflies

Badriya "Bastet": She really thinks any type of feline would be unoriginal, so she goes with Bettles. Except if it's Connor asking, then it's Cheetahs

Rhiannon "Ripp": Wolfs. When she was younger she adored the whole 'Wolfs are solitary, cool and edgy' type of media; but now she's more leaned towards the 'being a pack' idea.

Hywel "Howler": Deers, oddly enough.

Kevin: Pigeons. He really resonates the whole 'all the Pigeons in the US are the decendants of old Messenger Pigeons and were abandon after they were no longer of use and became feral' thing, so he has a lot of respect for them and feeds them seeds, not bread.

Ivan: Polar Bears. He knows it's basic but doesn't care.

Newton: Fireflies.

Lily "Lilyfay": Buterflies and Sea Angels, just because Newton show her a picture and she thought it was super cool and pretty.

Daisy (Ninjalino): Hamsters

Eloide Mecano (Romeo's mom): Frogs and Toads. Not in a 'I want to dissect them' way, in a 'I have large specialized terrariums for each species that I have' and 'I love their skin's texture' kind of way.

Maria Martinez (Connor's mom): Fancy Cat Breeds like Ragdolls, Persians, Bengalis, etc. but NOT Maine coons because She thinks they're 'too much like dogs', she also goes to Cat Shows but doesn't participate. As well as thinking Strays are dirty and dangerous, so Connor has to hides the 'feeding strays and feral' thing (Shut up, I like RomComs)

Kimiko Kobayashi (Amaya's Aunt): Poodles. She grew up with standard poodles, currently has toy poodles and She reallyyy wants to have a Royal-Size at some point. Plus, She participates in Dog Shows; if it's one of 'the Big ones' there's usually a Cat Shows happening in the same place so I imagine Maria and her having coffee together and talking trash about EVERYONE

Grayson Gunn (Greg's Uncle): Gigant Scolopendra

Phinneas Gunn: He denied this multiple times trough his life for various reason, but Koalas

So.... I made some pj mask AUs based off the prompt/trope people on pjmcord gave me (school au, angels and demons au, fae au)

School AU:

Premise: I know you probably meant just a normal school AU, but I'm actually incapable of writing something without fantasy elements, so its a school au: but they all still have their powers. In this au, the government knows about monsters and magic and stuff, and although the general population doesn't know about them, its not exactly "keep secret at all costs" information. So that nobody dies when the magical kids are too young to fully control their magic, they're kept seperated from ordinary kids in the education system until a certain age. So basically all the nighttime kids are in a class, and teacher is a new, human, teacher fresh out of uni and teaching his first class. These kids are a nightmare for him (/pos) and he struggles not to be killed every night.

Other stuff: There is a lot of drama between the villains and heroes, especially at lunch break. The main friend groups are the terrible trio and the pj trio, but the other characters have friend groups as well, and its not uncommon for everyone to just play nicely as one big group some nights and then all hate each other the next. The sidekicks do exist in this AU, but they're not allowed in the classroom because they're not students. This does not stop any of them: the ninjalinos sneak in to play with night ninja at break, Romeo is always making a machine of some sort, its very hard to keep moths out of the outdoor playground, octobella hides Percival in her bag, etc. The whole au would probably just be teacher being like: "Apophis, I'll put you in detention until the end of time if you try to trap bastet in a pyramid again!" "Kevin, don't put that in your mouth! No, I don't care what Howler dared you do to!" "Romeo, what did I say about stealing stuff from the maintenance room? You can't take over the world with the wifi router!"

Also, the heroes are monsters in this au, so owlette is a harpy, an yu has more dragon features, etc

Angels and Demons AU

Lore: Angels and demons usually hide which one they are, their wings and stuff can dissapear at will and they don't have to use their powers. Furthermore, its a contemporary!angels and demons au, so while everyone has angel or demon blood, some have the full features (horns, slitted pupils, angel wings, halos, etc) when they show their true forms, others merely contain some angel or demon blood and no affects from this (which is most common). There are also powers, which can be pretty much anything. Physical features aren't required to have powers, but they're usually hand in hand.

Other stuff: Amaya is the only one with wings and a few extra eyes, while connor has a halo, and greg has a few small feathers (not enough to fly with or form wings), but has the power of strength. The villains are all demons. Luna has wings, NN has horns (like an oni) and romeo hasn't shown his true form yet. However, Armadylan and An Yu are also demons! The PJs didn't trust armadylan at all at first because they're racist you can't trust demons, but after they met an yu, realised that maybe not all demons are bad and didn't choose to be like this. Also: pharaoh boy is a fallen angel, but bastet refuses to talk about what happened to make him lose his light. The rest of the power heroes are all angels. And for the characters I haven't talked about yet:

Wolfies: no features or powers, except their werewolf powers(werewolf blood dominated the demon genes)

Armadylan: 4 horns on his head that stick out from his helmet, as well as a tail beneath the armadillo tail on his suit. Canon powers

An Yu: Black and red scales, slitted red eyes, fangs, claws. Canon powers

Ice Cub: Has three halos, no powers until his exposure to the asteroid though

Newton: two sets of wings, four eyes (haha), canon powers

Speedy twins: demon tails

Bastet: small wings behind her ears

Octobella: gekko swears she's a demon, but she's not (she's a cecaelia)

Fae AU

So, in this AU lilyfay is the only fae. She's from an alien race of space fae, idk. The problem is, she's the first of her kind to visit earth in hundreds of years, and nobody really remembers the rules of the fay anymore, or that they exist. Which means that there are many shenanigans.

Lilyfay loves to clean, but unfortunately power Q is already pretty clean because of PJ robot, so except for when gloop attacks, she needs to find other places to clean. She occasionally just shows up at the flying factory to clean it (romeo is not good at keeping his lab tidy). And Romeo freaked out the first time but he got intrigued after that. When Romeo disrespected her the first time she refused to take that shit and turned him into a fawn (fae will sometimes transform humans into creatures if they don't like them), but only for one night so that he would learn his lesson. After this, Romeo takes up some of the Creideamh Sí so that he won't get deer'd again, which starts with giving Lilyfay milk when she shows up and progresses to the two of them having tea parties together. The duo kind of become friends, but lilyfay will not hesitate to kick his ass if he lies to her or offends her in some other way. Nobody else knows about their secret.

Lilyfay also has a garden in power Q, that has a ton of hawthorn saplings among other things. She and An Yu tend to the garden, but An Yu isn't allowed to touch the hawthorn. Lilyfay would love to drag the gang back to the land of the fay, but she's enjoying earth a lot and figures that she'll stay, for now at least. Also, her true fae form is hidden behind a human disguise (I don't think that lilyfay would be a changeling, but i'm going to incorporate some elements of changelings in for funsies) she can also play instruments and loves to dance, but she and her friends only ever play just dance and take turns so that she doesn't have to (by law) drag them away forever.

The Speedy Twins love the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. They have played every game and watched every series and movie about a bajillion times. They know the lore like the back of their three-fingered hands. They also have tons of merch. They draw the characters a lot, and have many Sonic-themed clothes. The Snapcube fan dubs are their main source of humor. They made themselves their own air shoes, and run with them often. They learned fighting and running skills from this franchise. Carly’s favorite is Shadow, and Cartoka’s favorite is Sonic.

vii: Meet & Greet

They had little time to pack their stuff, C.C. picked up Peter with Happy, they would meet Tony in Germany. 

Peter had one old backpack with him, C.C. had brought one set of pj's and her suit.

"This is cool..." Her friend sat in front of her, he had his phone out, recording the whole thing.

"Pete, you can't do that," She pointed at the camera. "It's illegal to record me."

"Wait, really?" He lowered his phone.

Outside the jet they heard the distinct sound of a landing, C.C. peered through the window and groaned.

"I didn't know he'd come with us."

"Who?"

"Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come!" Pietro showed up abruptly, making Peter and Happy scream.

"I thought you were with your sister?" C.C. stood to hide Peter from him.

"Barton showed up and took me out," He grumbled. "So I've got no choice but to— Hey, who's that behind you?"

"I'm Peter Parker," The boy held onto the back of his seat. "I'm Spider-man. You're one of the twins that were in Sokovia fighting the crazy robots, right?"

But Pietro hadn't heard anything after 'I'm Spider-man'. He looked at C.C. in disbelief.

"Don't even—"

Her warning got interrupted by Pietro's exaggerated laughter, she let out a growl.

"What's so funny?" Peter frowned.

"You're Peter Parker?" The older boy asked between chortles. "The guy that gave her that weird walkie-talkie, yes?"

"Oh," He smiled. "Yeah, we met in school."

"You're Spider-man?"

"It's very recent."

"And you knew all along?"

"At first I thought he was just some random guy but I..." She shrugged. "I put two and two together very quickly."

"She was there when the spider bit me."

"The spider?" Pietro tried to contain his giggles. "You got your powers from a little spider?"

"It's was genetically modified," Peter muttered. "Radioactive."

Pietro laughed again.

"Shut up!" C.C. threw a bag of peanuts at him. "You've been asking Peter all these questions and you haven't introduced yourself. You could at least have the decency to say who's laughing at him?"

"Sure, sure," Pietro reached out to shake Peter's hand. "Pietro Maximoff. Quicksilver. But you know me as C.C.'s cousin."

"Since when are you Quicksilver?" The girl snorted. "I thought you were Speedy."

"I thought you were a little boy until you took off your mask," Pietro taunted.

"Wait, so every time you said you were visiting your cousins, you were actually with the Maximoff?"

"Yeah, at the compound," C.C. smiled, being honest felt good.

"Awesome!" Peter said in awe. "Hey, man, can I interview you? I wanted to interview C.C. but she said I can't."

Pietro was elated with the attention, he talked about his life, his opinion on the accords, but when Peter asked about his sister, he stood up and said he needed to use the bathroom.

"He's not gonna talk about her," She whispered. "But you might see her later today if she's joined Steve's fugitive gang."

"It's so weird to hear you talk about Captain America like you've been friends for years," He grinned.

"We are!" She retorted, then frowned a little. "Were. I don't know where our relationship stands right now. He believes I'm biased but I know exactly what's going on. I took an informed decision."

"What's this whole fight about, anyway?"

C.C. shortly explained to him what had been going on for the last four months, Peter listened intently.

"Well, I think you made the right call," He admitted. "But what will happen to your friend?"

"The accords were better than hiding," C.C. looked down. "I like hanging out with you and the others. Pietro and I will do anything to protect her if it comes down to it, we won't leave her alone."

"So..." He tilted his head. "You signed the accords and risked having your identity revealed to a hundred and seventeen countries... just so you could go to school?"

"No," She laughed. "I signed so I could build a life with you. I actually hate school."

Peter's ears got red, he cleared his throat, staring at his screen: a picture of them and Ned from the day they'd visited Stark Expo.

"Hey... Was it disappointing," she began hesitantly, "when you found out I was Copycat?"

He frowned. "Why would it be disappointing?"

"When you were describing me that night," C.C. explained, "you said I would never hurt on purpose. You called me sweet... was it disappointing to know I'm a bad person?"

Peter stared at her. "You're not a bad person."

"You know what I've done," She muttered, not meeting his gaze. "I'm abnormal. I'd understand if you feel weird about me now..."

"I don't," He reached for her hand and squeezed. "You're the hero that taught me how to properly fight, but you're also C.C. and you're one of my best friends."

"Really?" She said softly. "You don't mind that I'm not as perfect as you thought?"

"Perfect's boring, anyway," He wrinkled his nose. "Now I'll be able to talk about our math homework during patrol and complain while catching the bad guys, that's awesome."

"If you say so," She chuckled, "you're a weird guy, Pete."

"That's what makes us a great team," He grinned.

C.C. stared at the boy without understanding what was happening, her eyes landed on his lips, she wanted to get closer.

"Am I interrupting?" Pietro's head popped over their seats. "You're in my seat."

"Sorry—"

"—just talking."

The teenagers averted their gazes, C.C. was deeply disturbed by her intrusive thoughts, that was the first time she'd ever wanted to kiss someone.

Peter was freaking out about everything, he recorded the walk to their hotel, and once outside the rooms, he went crazy about having a bedroom that was actually two rooms put together.

"This is insane!" He had the camera facing him. "Not loving the armchair, though..."

"Is he always like this?" Pietro asked quietly.

"Only when he's excited," She smiled. "Go on, suit up, we're living in twenty and I also have to change."

"I have a suit?" He gaped.

"Yeah!" She pushed him away. "Go change! We don't have time!"

"I don't see you scolding the spider for taking his god damn time," Pietro grumbled.

"I'm on it, speedy."

"Whaat!" Peter was now filming the view, he turned to the drawers next to the window. "Look at the candies..."

"C'mon, let's get you changed," She pushed him towards the bathroom.

"I have a tv in my bathroom?" He exclaimed. "Ye-e-eees!"

"You're so cute," She laughed. "But I really need you to focus now, Webs."

"Yeah, yeah, sorry..." He went back and grabbed his backpack, he was still recording. "I brought my homework... just in case, you know, cause I don't know how long are we gonna be here— did you bring your books?"

"No," She peered inside his bag. "Why did you bring your old suit?"

"What? Wasn't I supposed to?"

"Tony told you he'd give you a new one," She shook her head. "Come, you dummy..."

The girl took him to the next room and showed him the case that was on the coffee table. On top of it, there was a note from Tony:

A minor upgrade.

Peter pushed the button at the center and the case unlocked, pushing up the new suit, heavily inspired on the red and blue onesie that he'd been using, but definitely cooler.

"Woah— Oh my God!" Momentarily forgetting he wasn't supposed to get C.C. on camera, he turned to her. "This is the coolest thing I've ever seen!"

"Way better than mine for sure," She smiled. "But looks are unimportant when I'm almost always not me. Put it on, then."

"Is it— is this really for me?"

"You're the only one that needs those crazy-looking white goggles," She raised a brow.

"I— this is— this is insane! Look at this thing!" He pointed his camera at the suitcase again. "It's like a skin-tight Iron Man suit— this is the greatest day of my life—"

"Do you ever shut up? Your squeaky voice sounds exactly like a chihuahua," Pietro walked out of the bathroom.

"Leave him alone, he's just— oh, wow! Nice suit!"

She took a good look at Pietro's outfit: Mostly blue with white details, it had a design resembling the shape of lightning that went from the underarms to each side of his hips. His shoes looked resistant just like her boots, and he had a utility belt that was surely packed with useful gizmos.

"Fancy, isn't it?" He lightly kicked the bathroom door to open it and urged her to go in. "Your turn."

When she finished putting on her suit, she felt a little embarrassed with the lack of detail, but she decided to ignore it, they weren't there to show off their looks, anyway.

"Done," She walked out of the bathroom.

Pietro clicked his tongue. "Show us the new helmet!"

"Right now?"

"Yeah, c'mon, C.C!" Peter agreed, he'd also put on his new suit along with his mask.

"Alright," She pressed a button on her watch, Tony had modified her suit so the helmet was connected to the bodice.

It acted kind of like the roof of a convertible: moving from the nape of her head until it connected with the neck of her suit. It was dark grey at the moment, like the rest of her outfit, and her lenses were still of a greenish color, but now they remained in place without her having to be careful with her movements.

The boys burst out laughing.

"What?"

"Tony gave you cat ears!" Pietro chortled.

"WHAT?"

She went back to the bathroom to examine her looks: On each side of her head she had something that appeared to be ears, but they were shaped as if they were permanently alert, the same way cat ears moved when they were ready to attack.

"That asshole," The girl grumbled. "I'm gonna rip them off as soon as we finish this... let's go!"
