• open to anything horror themed. i love it all when it comes to this genre. serial killer nsfw, emotional and mental breaking in torture settings, non/con and horror go together like bread and butter. religious trauma, religious horror is superb.

• toxic violent romances. i dont mean yelling and cursing at each other. i mean lobotomies, i mean physical abuse, drugging, cockholding, cheating, demeaning relationships. anything that sounds like it should be reported to authorities ! son is upset with moms new boyfriend so he does something about it. drug dealer boyfriend tests drugs on partner and then has his friends take advantage of them for money. think gritty. also open to homo/transphobic themes if thats something you’re into.

• 🧑‍🧑‍🧒 and 🍪 themes. stepsiblings are cool, twincest is also very cool. pervy and nasty uncles, alcoholic and touchy dads, abusive and touchy brothers. coercion, manipulation, violence. i only play males but i could also play flirty aunts or messy moms for these types of plots. my 🍪 has limits, please ask about it before requesting a plot.

• cult themes. i love worship, devotion, and obsession aspects. this could be a light cult theme like a harem or something not as thought out or it could be some sort of darker sacrificial type theme. im open to it all.

• stalking, kidnapping, cloning, bimbofication/feminization, stockholm syndrome, and cannibalism…. yes. yes please. bonus points if all of these are included in one plotline. adding sexual torture and sexual violence to this as well. would love to do something with these ideas.

I don’t usually do discourse on this blog but that last reblog hit the nail on the head. Reader interaction is at an all time low for fic authors and whilst I’m eternally grateful for any and all kudos and comments that I do receive, I feel as if in the past couple of years there’s been this weird migration of comments - they’ve left ao3 and they’re on tiktok instead. So, rather than people leaving comments on my fics, they leave their comments on the videos of people reccing my fics. I see tiktoks about my fics and they’ll have double, triple the number of comments that the fic itself has. It’s so lovely that people are talking about my writing, but it’s just a very strange phenomenon and a very odd feeling when you have a fic that you assume wasn’t overly well received because it has hardly any comments on ao3, but then you see a tiktok full of comments with people saying that it’s their favourite fic.

And I’m going to say something potentially controversial here but not ONCE have I seen a tiktok creator, whose content relies solely on other people’s fics, say anything along the lines of “leave the author a comment if you enjoy the rec.” Literally never ever seen this. And I think that’s a real shame.

While Qwel has mentioned a few things regarding the next update (new pebble and twisted pebble animations, a new toon) there hasn’t been a confirmed release date as of writing this.

If you can't explain to me how your moderation goals for a platform won't be weaponized against marginalized groups and the steps you will put in place to prevent that then I don't trust your aims for moderation. That does not mean I am anti-moderation; it means that rules have to be consistently enforceable within the ranges of actual human behavior and you need to consider contingencies for edge cases and contingencies for those contingencies, you need to ask yourself what can go wrong and what steps you will take to prevent abuses of the system.

This is what I wrote in the feedback section for the new discord update:

I absolutely hate that the messages like group chats and DMs are in a different tab than servers now. there was absolutely nothing broken about the way that it was laid out and displayed before, so there's no reason to "fix" it!! I also am sorely missing the ability to swipe left to look at all members of a server, the having to click on the top feels clunky and visually unpleasant. I hate being taken to an entirely different screen just to see who's online! it's an entirely unnecessary extra step that helps no one. the idea of "prioritizing messaging" by putting private messages and group chats in a tab seperate from servers is completely asinine when discord as a whole is a messaging service in and of itself! also, it's a small aesthetic change but rounding the corners of the servers when swiping to look at the servers at the side is unnecessary and unwelcome and overall incredibly displeasing to look at. speaking of swiping, making it so swiping left creates a reply to a message is the most unnecessary, confusing, and almost MALICIOUS feeling change yet, especially when swiping left had an entirely different function before. please listen to your user base and stop making so many changes that absolutely NO ONE is actually asking for and actively make the user experience worse. you have a good app, it is not broken, stop trying to fix things that don't need to be changed because you've continually only made things worse.
