aside from crpgs the other genre im autistic about is farm sims. but because nothing can ever be easy i've been obsessed with them since i was 7 and have a complex about liking them before stardew / before they were cool. anyway i played 10 hours of story of seasons last night and it's bad! i need to stop complaining about how bioware got bad because the way these games went downhill in quality makes inquisition look like a masterpiece

Is there anything specific you would like to see with Daryl content-wise? I've got most of a reader insert one-shot done around the scientific method. Without giving away too much, it's basically some mishaps leading up to a confession. I just can't decide what kind of fluff I want to use in the conclusion.

it's going awesome i'm really enjoying it i love the characters i love the gameplay i really like the gathering and quest systems (LOVE the museum and how much less like. idk stressful it feels than stardew's community center) it's ADORABLE and also all the love interest characters are so hot and interested in the player so quickly which is really interesting to see! watching the flirting start so early on is awesome and it's also cool to see the pre-existing relationships between characters continue. also it's way hornier than stardew which i think rules, not to constantly compare them but also cmon. like everyone is so flirty it rules. also all the characters are awesome even march is growing on me bc it's so obvious he just wants attention

my only qualms are the controls but that's really just something i'll have to figure out with how i want them-- i do not like using esc for things in games so remapping those is going to take some experimentation

holy shit. So good.

It does something really different and interesting with what's become an over saturated genre. And. Amazingly. It has an actually pretty fun and not annoying fishing mini-game. And a little rhythm game to tame animals.
