I have never seen or read Much Ado About Nothing. I've seen pictures from the Catherine Tate/David Tennant one and now Hayley Atwell/Tom Hiddleston.

I always thought the Tate/Tennant one was like a silly take on it or something because of how bonkers the pictures are.

But now I've seen Tom Hiddleston in a sparkly belt lunging or ripping off his shirt, which leads me to believe the play itself is bonkers.

Now that's how this play lives in my head, and I can never see or read it because I like wondering "What could possibly happen in the plot that requires Tom Hiddleston to do weird things with confetti?"

I'll never know because thinking about Tennant and Hiddleston doing weird things is so funny that I don't even want to know the context. Just put my boys on a stage and let them play. It's their enrichment time.
