This SF Bingo will run from June 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025

Because this is no longer strictly during the summer, we're just now calling it StarkerFestivals Bingo 💗

Cards will have a theme and maybe a few theme related prompts for fun. (You can always request a prompt change if any of the prompts aren't to your liking)

How Do You Play?

As a participant, fulfilling prompts can be done at your leisure. We want everyone to have fun, so whether you fulfill 1 or do the entire card, it's up to you! There is no obligation to "win" bingo, but for those who want to go for it:

To "win," you will need to get five in a row via horizontal, vertical, or diagonal means. You can also win by getting the free space and all four corners. Finally, you can get a blackout by completing every square on the board. Visual examples:

Free space is free prompt choice. You can write or draw anything you like as a fill. Just please make sure it follows the rest of our rules as they apply.

Please elaborate on the "one prompt per fill"/multi-chapters?

The only rule is that it is one prompt per fill. The exception would be multi-chapter fics (ex: the prompt "falling in love" can be claimed for chapter 1 and then a 2nd prompt, first kiss, can be claimed for chapter 2. Or you create an accompanying moodboard with the prompt "Falling in love" and the fic is used to fulfill "first kiss".)

Is there an age restriction to join?

All ages are welcome! The sign-up form will ask if you would like SFW, NSFW, or both. Only 18+ participants may receive a card with NSFW prompts.

Filling out the Sign Up form– What are the different sections?

Username: Where we'll send the card (can be tumblr or email)

Card section: where you select the type of prompts you want (SFW, NSFW, Both)

Likes: This will give us a general idea of what prompts to give you.

Triggers/DNWs (Do Not Wants): Please let us know any triggers or DNWs and these will not show up on your card.

Can I post outside Tumblr?

Yes! While StarkerFestivals is based on tumblr, participants are free to post anywhere they want- we only ask that it's not behind a pay wall.

Can I sign up for multiple cards?

You can only have one card active at any time. You may ask for another card after you have won your old one. As for a new card, you should receive it within 1-3 days.

Do fills have to be strictly Starker?

They do not have to be strictly starker, but we ask that the focus is Starker since this is a Starker bingo.

Can I use a work to fill both my Starker bingo prompt and another event's?

Yup! We're cool with that, just make sure the other event is also fine with it.

Mega Man franchise (near) complete anniversary calendar

Since I couldn't find this anywhere else online (Seriously! Why doesn't this exist!), here's a mostly complete collection of the release dates of every single megaman franchise game and some extras. I've tried to keep it to one line per game where feasible but this has led to some abbreviations such as "PS1" instead of "Playstation".

This calendar will always count the earliest release region and platform and for dual release games I've not included the subtitles as some of the listings would get very long.

Mega Man Battle network legacy collections 1&2 both released for PS4 but since they are digital only, this effectively acts as being released for both PS4 AND 5 so I listed 5 as I feel it's the more relevant choice.

If I've missed any games please comment to let me know :D (or if I've made any mistakes! I've already fixed some things based on feedback!), I was going to include all the manga series too as those particularly interested me but it was too difficult to track them all down with dates so I haven't bothered but I can always come back in future to edit this, if anyone knows about them: please send me a DM!. I may also add the Mega Man complete works artbooks at some point too, but I can't be bothered researching that rn. If you REALLY want them on the timeline, comment or DM.

If any wiki resource or anything wants to use this feel free but please for the love of god fact check it please, as I write this sentence it is 1am and I very may well have written something wrong or used a source that has incorrect information.

If anyone wants this formatted like a regular hangup calendar, let me know and I'll consult the graphic design department (Don't worry @faustisgettingviolent I'm not talking about you)

*I speculate this one was released around October 21st 1994 due to the fact that it came very near the release of Mega Man The Wily Wars. As both games acted as a sort of campaign to introduce sega players to Mega Man it's likely they were intended to release around the same time, however the wily wars never saw a physical American release. If anyone has a source for the game gear games original release date please do let me know.

He tried to brush off his feelings, reminding himself that you are free to be friends with anyone you chose to be with. But as the days passed, Ken found himself struggling to hide his emotions. Every time he saw you and barbie together, it felt like a punch to his heart slowly feeling replaced day by day.

Sitting alone in the dimly lit room, Ken pondered over his feelings. He realized that his jealousy stemmed from his fear of losing you to someone else. He had always believed that he was the one who made you smile the most, and now he wondered if he was genuinely being replaced by barbie.

Unable to bear the weight of his emotions any longer, Ken decided to confront you. He found you in your bedroom, arranging your collection of accessories. Taking a deep breath, he mustered the courage to speak.

"Y/n, can we talk?" Ken's voice wavered slightly, betraying his inner turmoil.

You turned around, your eyes filled with concern. "Of course, Ken. What's on your mind?"

The way you said his name made him all fuzzy inside, he always felt at peace, at warmth with you and he was realizing that the more you talk to Barbie, the more he is getting replaced which meant he wouldn’t be able to speak to you again, he wouldn’t be able to hear you talk to him and he didn’t want that

So deep in thought ken hesitated for a moment before pouring out his feelings. He admitted his jealousy and insecurity, explaining how it hurt to see you with barbie. He confessed that he feared being replaced in your heart. you listened attentively, your expression softening with each word. When Ken finished, there was a moment of silence before you spoke.

"Ken, I understand why you feel this way, but I want you to know that you're irreplaceable to me. You've always been there for me, and our connection is special. Barbie is a friend, and nothing more. You hold a special place in my heart, and that will never change."

Ken felt a weight lifted off his shoulders as he absorbed Your words. He realized that his fears had been unfounded, and he had let jealousy cloud his judgment. He apologized for doubting your bond and thanked you dearly for understanding.

From that day forward, Ken vowed to trust your guys relationship. He learned to appreciate the friendships you formed with others and understood that it didn't diminish what you guys shared. Together you guys continued to embark on adventures, your love and bond stronger than ever before.

BarbieLand became a place of love, laughter, and understanding, where jealousy was conquered by trust, and hearts grew even closer.

Another tournament has come to an end, and it means that it’s time for the new one! The next tournament theme is the best EoA scene, and to make it happen I need your help!

For this tournament I decided to open submissions, and here’s some information about how it’s going to look like:

1. I accept submissions through my askbox since I don’t see a necessity in google forms. But I want to make a note that I accept submissions through my askbox only. If you submit your scene in the comment section, through DM, or anywhere else, I will ignore it. This is a lot easier to have all submissions in one place so please, consider it.

2. One person can submit as many scenes as they want: there are no limitations. Anonymous submissions are also accepted.

3. There are no strict rules regarding the form of your submission. You can drop just one sentence (e.g. Sofia frees Elena from the amulet), and it will be enough. Attaching the episode name or a picture is optional: I know the show like the back of my hand.

3. Propaganda is also optional. If you want to hype on the scene you submit, go ahead! I will encourage all the propaganda from chaotic keysmashes to detailed reviews.

4. I’m going to accept 32 scenes so as to have a proper bracket. If I don’t get enough submissions, I’ll choose missing scenes myself.

5. I’m going to accept submissions for at least one month since I’m planning on starting this tournament in December. You can start sending your submissions today already.

This week is our first ‘canon Jancy’ Spotlight and because today is Natalia’s birthday, we thought we’d discuss Nancy and Jonathan’s birthdays. (Please reblog - or comment on - this discussion to weigh in!)

It has never been said in the show or by the Duffers when Nancy and Jonathan’s birthdays are… so WHEN ARE THEY?

My headcanons are based on Natalia and Charlie’s assessment. They have said Nancy is a Libra and therefore, born in October. Though Libra is September 23-October 22 so it could be anywhere between these dates. Libra is represented by the scales of justice so makes sense why Natalia (and Charlie) headcanon this.

As for Jonathan, they both agree that he is a Cancer… so that means they think his birthday would be between June 21-July 22. Below is why they might think this:

Something else interesting to note: In season 1, Nancy wears an amethyst ring, which is February’s birthstone. I personally headcanon that the ring was her mother’s or grandmother’s… but could it be hers?

Hi Childe nonnie again teehee~ I’m by no means a writer, so I don’t have these thoughts fully fleshed out or written anywhere BUT I have this story going in my head about Childe and the sweet neighbor girl that he grew up with back home in his village. His darling~ she helps his mom take care of his siblings and the house, almost like a nanny but the kiddos refer to her as big sister. Childe was The bully of her childhood, but if anyone else even so much as looked at her wrong they’d be “mysteriously” beaten into submission to the point that eventually Childe was the only one who bothered to interact with her. He comes home from missions after becoming a harbinger, delighted to see her in his home acting so domestic with his siblings. He coos at her, comments about how he’s loved to have a pretty little wife like her to come home to, still teases and torments her like he did when they were kids. She has no idea but he’s assigned fatui members to keep watch on her while he’s away and keep her safe and ward off any potential suitors. She doesn’t know why it’s so hard to find a man to settle down with :( why they all run away scared after the first date

And and and there’s more I could go on forever. If you took comms I’d def pay you to write a full fic of this bc I know you would do it justice

First Post! Yay!

Hello!

I have not posted anything on Tumblr that wasn't a repost in YEARS. I was here when it first emerged from the depths of the internet and I've been on and off for the past 15 years. It's nice to be back!

So! This blog will be all about the fan fiction one shot book I am writing on ao3 about Nick and Jess from New Girl. I have already written and posted 4 chapters because I totally forgot to make a Tumblr about it!

All updates about my book will be here and I will post as often as I can about chapter releases, book updates in any form, and author comments. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to DM me or leave a comment under a post and I will get back to you ASAP!

I am currently taking online classes for my university and I work one full time and one part time job, so chapter updates may be anywhere from a week-a week and a half, but I always try to have a draft of another chapter ready to go after I post a chapter.

I will try to do frequent updates about when the next chapter is coming out, what my plan is, and what you can expect next. I've been reading/writing fan fiction for the past 15 years and I have never once stuck to an update schedule, but I am going to try my best to do it for this book!

I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable when reading my stories, so I will be putting a rating at the beginning of every chapter. The book is technically rated E because some of the chapters will be steamy, but I will be putting other ratings for the other chapters so that my dear readers will know if a chapter is something they want to read.

The ratings will be like AO3:

G - General T - Teen + M - Mature E - Explicit

I will try my best to make sure that the ratings match the content, and because I know everyone has different boundaries and experiences, I will be putting content warnings at the beginning of my chapters, especially the explicit ones. The content warnings will tell what is to be expected in the chapter. I believe this to be all, but let me know if I have missed anything.

I hope you like this book! I know New Girl is not as popular as it used to be but I watched it for the first time this past November (I know, I know, I'm basically a decade late) and I am OBSESSED, especially with Nick and Jess! The chapters in Green Light are going to revolve around them, but there will be background couples and characters in pretty much every chapter. And some cameos from special guest stars from the show!

Okay, I'll stop talking your ears off (reading your eyes out?). I really do hope you like this book because I have been working harder on this than anything else I have ever written.
