The only conflicts are that none of them know how to relax and they're all terrified that their dorms will be destroyed by the time they get back.

Trey, Ruggie, and Jamil are definitely going to be featured characters. I think an argument can also be made for Riddle and possibly Vil (idk him too well but he seems like he could use a break). Grim will not be coming with Yuu because the whole point is that you're supposed to be getting away from all the people who stress you out.

WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT VERSION CONTROL omg i am losing my mindddddd why do editors have so much trouble with this concept??? if you send someone comments on a document and ask them to revise even though you know more comments on that version are coming, they're going to submit a revision and then you're going to give them comments on THE OLD VERSION THAT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE WHAT ABOUT THIS MAKES SENSE PEOPLE. i spent half an hour explaining this to someone yesterday and i thought she got it and then today she did something EVEN MORE NONSENSICAL than what she was planning to do originally! o glorb stay my hand i am about to do something unwise!!!

I read this and I wonder if she also blames herself for everything in the last loop? Like everyone dying for HER to loop? I wonder if she’s been pushing herself so hard to learn EVERYTHING to just reduce the amount of work everyone else has to do and risks they have to take cause they already risked their whole lives and happiness on her last loop, dying to do so. It makes the moments when she breaks down that much more painful to reread

I’m presuming that anyone not interested in a more or less minute account of my internal screaming will block ‘Persuasion reread,’ so here goes. Today’s internal screaming is provoked by the fact that we enter Volume 2 with Anne glad that she and Captain Wentworth have -- at least tacitly, at least partially -- reconciled; she’s grateful for what she takes as signs of disinterested friendship from him. She’s also fully convinced that he is going to marry Louisa, and that she will just have to cope with that. (Interestingly, Lady Russell’s ‘pleased contempt’ at this news offers further evidence of the fact that she apparently hates Wentworth’s guts, despite acknowledging that he did seem to partly appreciate Anne’s worth in ‘06. Seem to partly appreciate! I tend to concur with the critical opinion that Lady R. has a wilful blind spot around Wentworth’s sexuality. Anyway.)

There is more! in this chapter, we get some of Austen’s first hints to readers that Anne’s perception of Wentworth’s feelings is... less than accurate. We’ve already had, of course, his responses to Mr. Elliot. Now we get Anne, responding to Lady Russell’s compliments on her appearance, ‘amused’ to think that she may be afforded ‘a second spring of youth and beauty.’ A second spring, you say, Miss Austen?? Moreover, we learn from the Crofts that Frederick, in bringing them news from Lyme, has asked after Anne’s welfare. He hopes she isn’t worn out; he’s noticed her exerting herself on behalf of the Musgroves, and wants to be sure she’s all right.

For one thing, he’s the only person who does appear to have noticed this, or thought to ask after her. (The Musgroves, in their anxiety over Louisa, have a good excuse for not doing so, granted.) And I think that we have here some early suggestive evidence concerning what our favorite obtuse genius is thinking and planning.

One day, mid way through a meeting, the zeta tube announces the arrival of Batman. Everyone turns to give him a piece of theirs minds for showing up hours late, except he’s barely standing, half his mask ripped off reveals a blue eye that isn’t focused on anything, matted black hair full of blood, he has stubble on his chin and he’s missing a tooth. His hand cluches his stomach as a knife pokes through his fingers he still tries to contain the blood, every breath he takes looks painful and there’s an indent in his ribs that wasn’t supposed to be there, there’s rips all over his suit revealing battered armour underneath, his cloak has long since been torn off and one of his entire boots is missing (along with a sizeable chunk of flesh), and J’onn cringes over at the pain and hunder and thirst and pain coming from his mind, iced over by vauge shock.

It doesn't even have to be a full blow make out session, just a peck on his lips and his day is completely changed for the better. That's why three weeks in their thing Maverick presents Iceman with a contract, an actual one with all the y and the x in the right places, with Chipper's signature and stamp on the end of the two pages. Now Maverick begins over breakfast, with Slider and Goose present at the table too, if you're going to sign it you are going to have to kiss me for at least thirty minutes every day. And if you don't, at page two, there's a list of things I can ask you to do because of that. After a second of silence Ice watches at the paper and then at Slider because do you have a pen on you Ron? and Goose has already a foot out of the kitchen because oh god, and me and Carole are the problem. C'mon Slider, let's get out, I'm buy breakfast.

Tom is signing, his smiling is dopey and he has the time to write ky before Pete is sitting on his lap because the thirty minutes starts now and Ice can't say he's sorry about being late for whatever they have to be after.

If anyone's wondering about that last post... yeah I have no real interest in the lore of the previous games. I want to move on, with new lore and new characters. I will take what is interesting from what I glimpse of the books through Breezewiki and leave it at that.

And this has me wondering about just straight up overhauling SB and Ruin specifically to make it about the new and not the old shit that's been done to death. Hm.
