NAYING YUE'S life has been on a downward spiral ever since her father disappeared three years ago. Expelled from university and alone after violently stabbing her friend in the eye, she believes her twenty first birthday is as good as any day to die, only for her suicide to be interrupted by an attack by monstrous beings. Saved by strangers who call themselves Outsiders, she is told her life as she knows it is a lie: Her father did not save her life as a child, but instead kidnapped her from the powerful Yue family. Thrown headfirst into the dangerous World of Outsiders, where humans endowed with a magical current are hunted ruthlessly by the eldritch beings known as the seraph and the power plays between factions shed just as much blood, Naying finds herself pulled by opposite powers and desires. Forced to play in games she does not fully understand and plagued by unexplained blackouts and boughts of violence, Naying must fight herself and the world to stay alive. But all she really wants is to find her father.

GODHOOD is the conceptual title for a prospective trilogy that follows Naying Yue as she reclaims her destiny. Set in a universe where magic runs parallel to the ordinary world in the form of a current. Those that possess the current are called Outsiders, endowed with extraordinary abilities and able to perceive the truth of the world, responsible for maintaining equilibrium. As Naying embraces the changes within herself, a young monk searches for an answer that has haunted him his whole life, and a skater must confront a part of herself she has tried to turn away from. A boy sits catatonic in a wheelchair in the garden, and a pair of twins are forced to chose between the past and the future. Their stories intertwine with one another's while overlapping with that of various other characters across the Godhood Universe.

The dead one.” “Dead, or missing?” Lien murmured in response. “Or found?” He stepped down into her space, so they were toe to toe, too crushingly close to stand on her own. She fought against stepping back, holding herself taut to prevent her body from swaying backwards without her control.  “Your bet,” she said, staring up at him. His eyes were dark. She could see a sliver of the moon in them at this distance. The last, and only, guy she had been this physically close to was Frey. “I bet you’re going to ruin something,” Lien said in a low voice. “Real or not.” Naying swallowed, then let herself smile. “How much are you willing to bet on that?” “Why?” Lien asked, boredom sweeping over his features. He took a step back. “Planning on providing a payout?” “I doubt it would be that hard,” Naying replied, following his step. “I don’t play nice.” Lien shook his head with a rueful grin. “I can see that much.” He paused. “So what’s your bet, then?” “My bet?” Naying echoed curiously. “Real, or fake?”  “Well,” Naying said. “It’s probably the same as yours, isn’t it? I’m a fake who is pretending to be the real thing, or I’m the real deal still putting on a facade. Either way, I’m going to fuck things up, aren’t I?” “There’s no odds if they’re in both of our favor,” Lien replied.

idk, i think the funny thing about X-Men: Evolution is that they were trying to cram a ton of characters into a very small show, and also hit all the major comics events... but in doing so, it truncates timelines and makes the bad guys' motivations boil down to "for the evulz" which makes for kind of absurd viewing as an adult lol

Jason and Y/N have a total of 14 kids that Y/N adopted off the street (don't worry Y/N will probably find more to take in...). Jason and Y/N ended up having to buy a huge house with lots of bedrooms and a hundred acres of land in case someone *cough* Y/N *cough* decides to take in more kids, then they'll have to add on. At least there's plenty of room! There's plenty of trees and a big pond where the Todds spend their weekends together having a picnic as a big, dysfunctional, happy family. They also own three dogs, three cats, horses (again, thanks to Y/N because Jason is a sucker for them and them only. Whatever Y/N wants Y/N gets), chickens, cows, ducks, fish, koi fish in the pond, and two donkeys named Donkey and Dragon all thanks to one of their daughters who is obsessed with watching Shrek. Like so obsessed she dressed up as Fiona for five Halloweens straight and had multiple Shrek themed birthdays... Don't even think about washing her donkey plushie when she's awake of she will scream... It freaked out Jason for a while. Shopping? Oh, well, that's something itself. Thought it was hard shopping with Jason? Think again. It's much worse with Jason plus 14 kids and they all want McDonald's on the way home. Before you go asking how the Todds get to the store with 14 kids in a normal truck/car, they don't, they drive a school bus Y/N "found" one day while out and about. They still have their sports bikes and vehicles they love so much, but when it's family shopping day it's the bus. Dinner? Everyone is helping out one way or another. It's so chaotic, but Jason and Y/N wouldn't have it any other way. Everyone at their kids school knows not to mess with them because they have crazy—but awesome—parents. Alex is the only one that is deaf so he is homeschooled, and everyone learned sign language just for him. The first time everyone signed the whole happy birthday song he had tears in his eyes and the biggest smile on his face. Not picking favorites or anything but he's definitely a Y/N's little boy. Monday night is movie night and they have to keep track on who's turn it is to pick out a movie or world war III breaks out, and it ain't pretty. Jason stopped buying nice vases after those few times they didn't keep track... Sunday is date night for Jason and Y/N, and nothing will interfere with it because Jason will throw a fit (unless it was an emergency). No doubt you'll find Maggie cuddled between her parents when it's thundering outside, her little Robin teddy bear held tightly in her arms as she snores peacefully. Snow days are perfect, everyone outside playing in the snow (playing a game of snowball fights that tend to get out of hand) and drinking hot chocolate afterwards, wrapped up in blankets while sitting around the fireplace. Jason scolding his kids after they snuck a raccoon in the house without his permission all while Y/N grins sheepishly at Jason as they hold the hands of twins who both have matching smiles on their little faces, both missing a front tooth, and Jason sighing, shaking his head with a small smile on his lips thinking to himself how he got so lucky to have Y/N and his big family he wouldn't give up for the world.

Rachel Ito (née Lambert)

Beach life.

Rachel Ito's story is one of trying to be seen. Born third to Dahlia and Tommy Lambert, she is the unseen princess after the twins Aria and Kellen and before the last unexpected baby Jay. To be seen, she fled Newcrest and was welcomed in Mt. Komorebi, far from what she had imagined her life to be.

It's hard to make a name for yourself when you are after the great Aria, the spare to the spare and not even the last baby. Growing up, Rachel was not forgotten, but never really stood out. Her older siblings were twins, close to each other. Her little brother arrived late in her life. She became closer to her cousins, Yolanda and Branden, even if they were younger than her. Yolanda felt like the little sister she never had and Branden the annoying little one with whom she shared the wish of travelling around the world. The catalyst to the realization of her travelling dreams was a family winter holiday to Mt. Komorebi. At the time, one must admit Rachel was a bit boy crazy. As soon as she laid eyes on Kiyoshi Ito, she knew she wanted to get close to him. The coldness of their first meeting did not bother Rachel and she kept trying to befriend him until he finally warmed up to her. But that was at the end of her stay and she already had to go back... But their story did not stop there. They kept contact and became each other's confidante. Through their exchanges, Rachel realized that gaining Kiyoshi's love would probably never happen, as he already had a girlfriend - sort of. Time passed and the days of young adulthood were looming. While dreading the princessly duties, Rachel became a pillar in Kiyoshi’s life. Her external point of view on his life was always welcome. Her support became crucial to him as Kiyoshi’s mother decided to leave husband and children. What she could not foresee was the reaction from Naoki Ito, Kiyoshi’s father. As he learnt the relationship between Kiyoshi and Rachel, in the hopes of having his own son settling down to become his official successor, he invited Rachel to Mt. Komorebi. Rachel knew what it meant and Kiyoshi and her had a mutual agreement. A sort of arranged marriage, but he would rather be with her than with a complete stranger picked by his father. This marriage was a sort of escape from the endless comparisons to her siblings back in Syncretia. Rachel’s parents were surprised but happy for their daughter. In the end, love arrived with time. Being passionate in bed definitely helped. From this union, three sons were born. Emery, Magnus and Thomas. Rachel had settled to a life far from the public and she became a happy stay-at-home mother. Now that her boys are growing, she is also eagerly waiting for grandchildren. Unbeknownst to her she is already a grandmother. Will she be the voice of wisdom for her eldest Emery and accept the secret child in the family? Or will she condemn his actions?

Aunt Nerine

After some shenanigans in a few inboxes I figured I might as well commit to the bit, so…

Are you having trouble with matters of the heart? Are things standing still between you and someone you care about? Do the words remain unsaid, the feelings not shown or shared?

No worries! Aunt Nerine is here to help – whether you want her or not.

(Huge thanks to @moonyasnow for all their work in making such a lovely chibi! They really did an amazing job turning my sketch and ideas into something so wonderful, and I'm so happy to see the results.)

Aunt Nerine is a fae, fairly human-sized if a bit short (about 155 cm / 5' 1"). However, even though she's a fae, her wings are not real. She actually wears them purely for the aesthetic, using magic to animate them if she's so inclined.

While she’s not as long-lived as for example the dragon fae, she has been around for a while. All that experience has left her with plenty of things up her sleeve – or on the tip of her wand, as it may be.

Aunt Nerine’s signature spell, Red String of Fate, allows her to identify mutual fondness between individuals. It also let's her know if said individuals are freely expressing their feelings to each other, or holding them back.

However, her spell doesn’t tell her the nature of that fondness, so the feelings between the people could be anything from romantic to familial or platonic.

And if there are two (or more) individuals, clearly caring for each other but not acting on it… Well, it would only be oh so kind of aunt Nerine to help the people involved take the next step.

Basically, no mutual pining is happening on her watch – and she’s got just the spells to help end such a state of affairs.

Truly, a fairy godmother to us all, just trying to usher in the happy ever afters.

It just really is a shame that some people just don’t know how to be grateful for it. (One day she'll be allowed to visit Briar Valley again. One day.)

Recently, aunt Nerine has set up a little clinic (as she calls it) on Sage’s Island, promising to attend to any matters of the heart.

Sometimes she also just wanders around the island – including the Night Raven campus – helping those she believes are in need of that little push.

Though on occasion she's just there to meet Lilia for their little tea times – though she’s always the one bringing the pastries.

Basically, what this all means is that aunt Nerine is here to throw your charas or ships into situations hopefully provide some fun fodder for scenes or imagines with your characters or ships.

So, if you'd like to see her meddle with help your ocs and ships, then please let me know! I'll then see if I can come up with something to come into your inbox with. 

You can also send your chara to my inbox and have them come in asking for help / for a consultation, or what have you.

I might also throw her into a few inboxes uninvited, but it's always easier throwing shenanigans at people when I know they're welcomed.

In short, I'm very much open to all sorts of interactions with Nerine – that's basically what she is for.
