Review notes below?

For the record, something I haven't seen anyone mention is that Gangle and Zooble both operate with Velcro (and elastic for Zooble). As a fangamer plush nerd, I was expecting magnets, but apparently not. (Not a complaint, just not what I was expecting.)

Gangle has a ton of Velcro spots (for holding her mask to her face, for putting her hands together, and even for letting her fold her leg. Zooble's wing and antennae have Velcro to hold them in place, and the limbs fit into their body due to stiff white elastic around the sockets.

Also, Kinger's robe fluff is SO SOFT- I was NOT expecting to like it so much. I can't stop running my fingers through it.

Very nice, glad to have them all in my collection! They're all such cool designs!

Hornet Fangamer Plush

The most recent addition to my collection. I'm a certified hornet fan so I'd been looking at this little thing for a little while now, and after buying other fangamer hollow knight plushies for a friend I just had to go back for her! detailed thoughts under the break

She's very high quality, with appealing fabric textures and true-to-advertised proportions and size. I could not be happier with her, she's genuinely a very very nice plushie.

Affordability:

She's 28usd, which is similar in price to many of fangamer's plushies. I paid about 40usd (with shipping and taxes) because i'm international. It came to 64aud. Compared to other places though, this isn't that bad. I'm used to usually having to pay at least 80aud for an international fandom plush of this size. Shipping itself was affordable, at 9usd (~15aud) for relatively fast international shipping. Its definitely very good compared to other similar places.

I would definitely consider fangamer to be international buyer friendly, and recommend them if you want good quality fandom merch without paying an outrageous price for shipping.

Fangamer also offers discounts if you have multiple plushies in the same order, when I got hornet I got her by herself but my previous fangamer order had 5usd taken off of one of the plushies because there were two from the hollow knight collection.

Cuddleability:

Personally, I find her to be very cuddleable. She fits very well in my arms and can be held with relative ease, though her head can sometimes make it slightly difficult.

Her body shape is generally pretty flat, and she's very top-heavy. This means that she's very good at just lying on top of you, as she doesn't roll at all or slide off. I found she fits very nicely in my lap as well.

her entire body is soft, and her cloak is made of a stretchy material that makes her quite comfortable against the body, she's stuffed enough to hold her shape but isnt rigid either. Her head adorably bobbles if you pick her up.

The magnet on her back is strong enough to hold the needle on very well while you hold her, and it hasn't fallen off of that back magnet once. I find that it will come off when held in one hand, though. The needle has two magnets inside it (one for the handle, one in the blade for positioning on her back) and she can also put two hands on the needle in certain poses because of this, which holds the needle more firmly.

Equippabilty:

She's very grabbable. She's large enough to be grasped from basically any angle, which makes for some very funny ways to hold her.

Her body is just large enough for me to hold her with two hands, and her arms are angled in a way that allows you to hold her under the armpits with relative ease. her head is also very nicely shaped for grabbing, you can grab her by one horn or two, or even just grab her little face.

Her neck is decently far from her shoulders, which makes throttling her very easy, almost natural. You can also grab her around her arms and body, which reminds me of a cat being restrained by a vet.

Sleepability:

She's generally pretty easy to cuddle to sleep. She can definitely get lost in blankets but she's large enough to be held pretty firmly.

I found the most effective way to do it was by sleeping on my side, with my arm over her. She ended up on my pillow at some point but im a pretty active sleeper.

I did set her needle aside, because I dont want it getting lost. So im not sure if it wouldve stayed on, but probably not.

She didnt have any issues with being uncomfortable, even with her large head she didnt give me trouble falling asleep or getting comfortable. Also her fabric is very nice to touch.

Throwability:

She's not as throwable as youd assume, she's pretty top heavy which does make a pretty funny thump when thrown though.

her weight is so uneven that its difficult to throw her satisfyingly, but she does flop over like a piece of toast if you stand her up which makes up for it.

My thoughts:

She's a very good plushie, very true to her in game design and very appealing to look at. Her magnets are strong, and all of the stitching feels solid. She's a very good plushie of hornet, and would be great in the collection of anyone who likes hollow knight.

She arrived very quickly, and I also received a sticker and art card in the package. I'm overall very satisfied with her and would recommend her to anyone who likes hollow knight or her as a character.

Over all, a quality plush. Definitely NOT machine washable, spot-washing ONLY, as some pieces of her (hair, pompoms) are simply glued on with epoxy/hot glue. She is quite a bit bigger than my other plushies of Six and Mono, leaving room for her excellent details! She's not very squishy by any means, but her small-toddler-esque size makes her huggable nonetheless!

My final rating on the Pomni plush iiiiis:

1: VERY holdable! Neck is good for grisping. Highly punchable expression (as it should be)

Smells GOOD! like very good. Don't know why. I'm going to keep sniffing him so I'll figure it out eventually.

2: plush is soft! And fairly big! Roughly the length of one deer skull (that's john doe btw. Say hi, john doe)

3: guys his screen is so small. How tf am I supposed to watch tv on this thing? Very embarrassing for him.

Unfortunately he also didn't make my tv work even though i showed him all of the words and cords. Very shameful not to know the functionality of something that looks so much like one's head. Smh

4: Gremlin isn't afraid of him! Not afraid at all. Not scared for his life or even nervous. Not even intimidated

Also after asking Gremlin, I've been informed that Vox's antennae are good to chew and have a great mouthfeel. I'm not dedicated enough to my hastily picked-up craft to try this myself, because Gremlin's slobber is stinky as hell.

5: he fits perfectly in The Shrine!!! Look how cozy he is!

Make sure you get one with a mute button by the way mine won't stop asking dumb questions like "where the fuck am I?" And "How dare you fucking kidnap me, do you know who I am?"

Hello! this is my sideblog where I talk about plushies and how I feel about them. All ratings are for fun and do not reflect on any problems i have with the creators of the products (unless specified otherwise, for whatever reason)

Saw Mickey 17 in theaters.

I saw this movie on an undisclosed date for my birthday and it was the perfect movie to go see specifically for me.

I knew I was going to see this being Bong Joon Ho's next film, but Robert Pattinson's performance as Mickey(s) is a huge reason to watch it.

Naomi Ackie is also great as Nasha and the relationship between her and Mickey is actually fleshed out and emotionally relevant to the plot which many modern movies neglect to do.

Spoilers:

The overall themes of class disparity, workers rights, the faults of political grandstanding and so many other readings are all well layered within the sci-fi dystopia framework.

The only real problem I have is Mark Ruffalo's performance being brought down by a very exhausted Trump impression. I realize it's used as shorthand for the brand of political rhetoric that character employs, but his actions make that abundantly clear even without the impression.

Also the character of Kai just sort of disappears from the movie for a while despite seemingly being set up to be a more important part of the story. She mostly ends up serving as a plot device in Nasha and Micky's relationship to establish that Nasha sees both Mickey's as one soul who should not be treated as an object. While I do think this was important to establish, it seems like Kai's role was reduced from earlier revisions of the script.

I think this movie is a decent darkly comedic extension to the concepts presented in the more dramatic Moon from 2009.

Definitely glad I saw it in theaters and I'll probably rewatch it in the future.

P.S. I love the creepers. I love them a lot. I love them so much I am compelled to give this film the highest honor I can bestow on any property and spend money on merch.

I think he’s been badly affected by scalpers though. I saw he’s being sold for £60 elsewhere!

I always told myself I’d get the clodsire plush when one came out.

And it came out. And I probably shouldn’t have got it.

So anyway my friend and I got pissed and I don’t deserve the Pokémon website when I’m under the influence.

He does look exactly like the photo and the Pokémon quality is there. He’s so soft and so huggable. The comfy friends line is my favourite because of this.

The fluff does get loose Somtimes, but with the new friends that’s normal. It happened to my Bidoof from the same line and it doesn’t take away from the fluffiness of it. He’s well designed to be huggable and comfortable. He’s like a big pillow.

Definitely worth it if you love clodsire like I do. 🫡
