Very normal about this Spam NEO fight, but I'm also curious how closely the fight plays out.
Does Frisk spare him by snapping wires still? Does he fall just like the base game when they're gone? I know he's gonna be better off at the end than becoming a pair of sunglasses, if only because he's gonna be a party member, but...
You assume this because he's a party member, but the Secret bosses are also only party Members for the duration of the Chapter they're from ;)
...
I could just leave this ask with that but, lets be honest here, I've said before that this AU initially spawned out of me joking about if Frisk was the Deltarune protag, freeing Spamton would've worked. Of course it ends better, this is happy ending city babey, that's all I do!
Frisk does snap the wires, yes, because that seems to be what Spamton's freaking out about as far as they can tell. Spamton doesn't actually get what they're doing until After all the strings are cut and he's fallen though, at which point he realizes they were trying to help him, feels somewhat guilty, and then feels a whole lot worse in general because it didn't Work.
Killing them didn't work (or, at least, he utterly failed to do so), cutting the strings Didn't Work, and now all his work was for Nothing and he tried to kill a child that did nothing but help him this entire time and that, despite how much he would attempt to convince himself otherwise, he DID get attached to. Everything's utterly fallen apart and there's nothing he can do to fix any of it. His one big plan was a dud and he has nothing else.
So Spamton is pretty ready to give up and just be a pair of glasses, but Frisk...
Well, Frisk isn't one to give up on a friend no matter what, and they will Not fail to save anyone ever again. So they try to help Spamton get back up. Again, and again, and again, and again.
And, well, that kinda Determination is enough to inspire a little hope in anyone, y'know?
And, you know, maybe, just maybe, sometimes, a little hope, a lotta determination, and a friend is all you need to defy the rules of the game.
Maybe, sometimes, you get to be more than Just A Puppet.

kidnapped onto the vees thought train again and reflecting on Carmilla's little scowl-sneer when she asks Velvette if 'your...... colleagues will be joining us' at the meeting. To be fair, it could just be the fact of who her 'colleagues' are, but considering her connection with Zestial I can't help but imagine it as 'I support TRADITIONAL Overlord relationships, i.e respectful friendships where you only talk about your feelings on very private occasions and give each other emotional looks from the distance of a room. you all live in an OT3-branded tower and i was forced to see you CUDDLING one of your business partners on a billboard advertisement earlier. my god don't you have any sense of decency'

OOoooo Olipeligo worldbuilding brainworms moment
Oli said in his recent livestream that the citizens of Olipeligo are like beach episode or musicians type characters and ooooo I got ideas
So Oli is a pretty famous bard, he’s known through all of the empires. Word spreads of him, of his performance in Dawn and Gobland and other bards get interested in who is existentially a celebrity.
Musicians and fans travel to Olipeligo to see this famous bard, to learn from him. This creates a sort of cycle of more people performing in Olipeligo so more people go there, so more aspiring musicians go there and even more people go there- Then there’s also the people who heard there’s a sweet beach there and decides that with all the entertainment going on it’s one hell of a vacation spot.
I imagine there’s tents and makeshift stages, music and theatre performances and dance battles and an anime beach episode happening in the background 24/7.
The only downside (other than the constant noise) is that it’s hot as balls and sand gets EVERYWHERE. But it is like instant credibility and great for networking.

omg omg
have him (art by @shiroi---kumo )
his name is terälehti. he's a librarian/archivist for the royal family and ended up there because he's shy and very nice. he's like 6' tall, built like a toothpick, and loves to read and write. very softspoken in person, very critical of politics in his writing.
his necklace was forged by his best friends, made of their souls' essences so he could have a piece of them with him always. his earring was forged by his other best friend in the same manner. his horns are made of ruby. also his hair is the softest thing you will ever touch and he gives wonderful hugs.
and yes watermelon jokes ARE permissible
he lives on my sideblog ( @aquaticsoul ) if you ever wanna check him out-
thank you for giving me somewhere to ramble about one of my many puff children
thank you for sharing!!!

What does Nick have that Fumus would be jealous of 👀
This is definitely more of a headcanon but: stability, the way he makes his own happiness, the fact that he's not as pathetic as Fumus who only ever wallows in his own self-pity. Back before Fumus broke his brother, Satanick would create worlds full of people who loved each other. He actively goes out and has fun. He doesn't need to intimidate and abuse his subordinates to feel better about himself or command their loyalty. And even after suffering so much at Fumus's hands, he still retains these traits to some degree.
I think this is a something that Fumus would never even remotely admit to, and I don't think this would be something that strongly motivates him to torture his brother either. I like to think that it's just a little thing about Satanick that irks him, and makes the torture and mental breaking a little more enjoyable.
