What an absolute shitshow of a power thrupple. I'm assuming this is ascended Astarion because I feel like unascended Astarion is a completely different story.

I cannot see Astarion sharing willingly. No matter how Gortash works his way into the coupling, Astarion is always going to be doing his damnedest to push him out. He waltzed in uninvited (at least on Astarion's end) and he'd see him cast out. He doesn't like to share. Whether it's setting him up to fumble or deliberately trying to get a rise out of him.

Gortash isn't quite as adamant about pushing out Astarion. After all, he's a useful 'ally' to have. He is firmly confident that he'll win out in the end. If Astarion ends up tripping over their own ego, well... what a terrible shame that would be.

Both of them vying for Durge's attention and affection and simultaneously vying for power. Ascended Astarion is a force to be reckoned with, but a Banite is no trifling matter. They're clever, resourceful, and merciless.

It's clear that Gortash had something going with his beloved Durge before he ever came along, and that absolutely drives Astarion to madness. Even as they can't remember, there is still something there-- something he can't entirely supplant. There are feelings between the two of them that he can't snuff out, and by God that drives him to the brink.

He doesn't like sharing affection even a little bit, but unfortunately, Gortash has planted himself firmly in the relationship and shows no sign of leaving.

Durge is going to have to do some careful juggling here. The power struggle? Delightful. And the sex? Reckless and merciless and utterly dominating.

Omg please hades son Oscar is what I need. He’s friends with Lando and they are the duo that everyone is scared of in camp cause they are children of the big three but in reality Oscar is really calm and very self-aware when it comes to his powers. Well Lando not so much because he likes the fact he’s so powerful, unlike Oscar. But Oscar always tries to control him as much as he can and it works. I can so see Max coming into camp later and he’s super insecure and guarded because of that. But the two warm their way into his heart eventually and now kids worry not only about Hades’ and Poseidon’s sons but also Zeus’. They are the new big three however their father don’t like it.

Oscar would date Demeter’s daughter and they are the perfect balance to each other. She’s life and he’s death and it’s just the way it was always supposed to be. I can see Lando dating Hades’ daughter so well basically Oscar’ sister and when Oscar finds out it’s the only time he looses control and maybe they have this epic fight that ends in half of the camp destroyed and them hugging each other in the end because it’s stupid to fight they can just talk it out (they can’t. Oscar just has to deal with it). Who would Max date??? I can maybe see Athena’s daughter? It fits I think.

tbh i kinda want the big 3 kids to be only children like in the percy jackson series bc it adds a lil extra drama to be forbidden children, plus w lando as a poseidon kid i kinda want him w an athena daughter to keep up w the stupid boy/smart girl dynamic that percy and annabeth have because its sooo cute. my fav

lando’s in hades's realm playing fetch with cerebus and chatting up old spirits. hades pissed because some idiot is distracting his guard dog again. few hours goes by and lando appears in the middle of camp, a little dirty from his impromptu dive underground, but okay. gf doting on him and oscar's sick of it but doesn't make the world eat him again.

could also work w a lil love triangle/thrupple moment where oscar and her are best friends and he's hopelessly in love w her but thinks he has no shot and then he sees her and lando flirting and next thing you know a hole is opening under lando's feet and he's got a one way ticket to visit hades.

i could see max with a daughter of aphrodite, he’s normally very confident bc he’s so strong, once he settles into the camp all the girls are crushing on him and he flirts w them all so easily except for her. any other child of aphrodite yea sure pretty or whatever. but he sees her like picking berries with oscar’s gf from demeter and just stops and stares and oscar is like “y’know my girl can put in a good word for you!” and max gets all flustered and is like “im a son of zues, i don’t need help picking up girls.” oscar daring him to go talk to her if he doesn’t need help, and max doesn’t back down from any challenge so he goes to talk to her. he gets a few steps away and forgets how to speak, the rehearsed lines fade away and he’s turning around just before he gets to them. he rushes back to oscar like, okay yeah. maybe ask her to put in a good word. he goes so stupid around her and all he can think ab is how pretty she is, how nice the sound of her voice is, how pillowy her lips look.

or we talked about a nemesis child, max could date a child of nemesis and she’s sooo protective over him and will fuck w anyone who bothers him. someone makes an offhand remark about him and they have bad luck for a week. injures him sparring and they get hurt twice as bad by their next opponent. her and him flying together, holding hands and zipping through the clouds, her with actual wings and him just using the wind.

So I hug Halsin tighter, running my fingers through his hair, inhaling their scent. He slowly finishes undressing me, his fingers electrifying every inch of my skin they touch. The sequel in the paranormal romance series inspired by Asian Mythology, this time following a witch, a kitsune, and a gumiho as they navigate a deadly curse and falling in love with one another. Marie Xiao is a witch who also freelances as a consultant in her daily life but also works to hunt down magical objects that could hurt humankind. She's been alone for some time until she catches the eyes of Yamamoto Kuro (Kitsune) and Joseph Choe (Gumiho), two fox spirits who think she would be the perfect addition to their relationship. Kuro and Joe see Marie and just know that she would be perfect with them.... and what better way to woo this witch than to team up with her and mix a little business with a little bit of pleasure. This is the sequel in the series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. I did enjoy the thrupple relationship and the MMF relationship was really well done in this. The dynamic was sweet and super supportive and the couple were really great at communicating with one another. The romance was cute in this and I liked how the thrupple worked out and progressed. I definitely would love to see more of this couple and I will absolutely be continuing this series.

This universe doesn't have a Spiderman Instead it has a Prowler. (Which leads to alot more crime since no one is around to stop it)

The symbioties of this universe are huge (Venom is about 8ft tall in his big form and carnage is even bigger big tinner) they also have tails and spikes/horns. They are more animal like and are more intune with the hive mind that spans across the multiverse.

Hobie brown is the prowler of this universe. (Cos we love a evil version of the man I love)

Eddie "spiderman" aka the first Venom but they where doing the whole hero thing until he got hurt and is now in a coma (hence why Vi now has him)

Vi and Eddie dated (which is why he chose Vi to take on Venom, she already knew about him and they had a weird 3 way thrupple going on)

The sister 6 is mostly that same but a little more sinister then silly. (I will desing them at some point)

Symbiotes are a big part of the universe and will show up a lot with and without a host.

The Symbiotes can still have thier own big form even when attached to a host insted of the host wearing them (they are alot more independent, mostly using host as an energy battery)

Norman Osborn is the green goblin and is actually a pretty big threat to the universe they live in.

Since Vi is on a mission to connect all the Vemons to the bigger hive mind she barely spends time in her own universe. So she's got merch of all different spidermen and definitely has favourites since her own universe lacks a proper Spiderman.

A; Vivvian was dating her universes Eddie while he was trying to be the hero the word despretly needed. But in a fight against Carnage (hyped up on goblin toxins) Eddie got hurt and ended up in a coma with a head injury. Peter Parker never got bit he's just a regular dude (tho I'm thinking about making him a carnage host later down the line)

Q; are Vi and Venom connected like Eddie and venom and the movies, or do they are Separated but still Is connected if that makes sense

A; So Venom and Vi are always connected even when he's in his big form separate from her he's connected by atleast one tendril at all times (which means they can't go more then a few meters apart at any given time) but Oh yeah for sure, it's thier biggest weakness. But they work around it and are good at working as a duo. But if Venom ever dose get de attached Vi loses all her powers (she isn't a spider man so she never got bit by a spider, she's only got venom powering her)

a add on from this, Vis biggest draw backs are that 1 she would absolutely die in a fight without venom. 2 the connection (they do have a connection in her DNA so it's hard to disconnect them but one he's not on her…she's kinda helpless) 3 she is strong AF and doesn't hold back bit because she's powering a whole nother person she runs out of energy faster and looses stamina faster then most.

Considering the amount of character Lexical has, I'll do a couple groups rather than them as individuals.

Smith and Lang PI inc: Going to the beach was all Ashley's idea, and she is actually having fun with it. Sam is attempting to brood, but as he gets progressively more drunk he starts to actually enjoy himself and wades in the water. Richard is having an existential crisis from his beach related trauma and is manically trying to hide it by faking having a great time.

The Ethical Cult TM : Assuming post story- they are vibing as a group singing and drinking. They would end up making an extremely impressive sand castle via their collective Wyrd powers. Joshua switching between fretting over everyone and being reminded to relax.

Civil Disobedience: Accidental/on purpose shit-stirrers of the beach. Riffles is off bothering people and doing magic tricks for attention. Gearshift would industrialize the process of making a sandcastle and would turn into heavy machinery to do it; Aejion would give moral support/try to be useful. Siren would sunbath with her thrupple and use her mind control to keep the group out of trouble.

What can you tell us about Mark, Joe and Chanda ? How did they met and how was their mariage ?

Their stories are still quite nebulous to me in this new world and setting. Part of me wants to abandon them and leave them behind in Badbeat so I can find inspiration for new characters, but I also trust that if they're meant to fit into this new story and world their stories will become clear to me in time.

Right now, all I know is that their occult status is the same- Chanda is a hag, a powerful fey entity with a knack for misery and trickery. Mark is a werewolf, and Joe is a vampire. I'm honestly uninspired by all of them at the moment so I have no idea how they met or how they came to be a thrupple. I wish I had a more satisfying answer, but that's just the truth

Oh boy, well Rach has a few, but I want to mention some other ones as well.

With my recent love of Trigun I've really liked seeing all the Mashwood content. The power thrupple of the century.

I don't rp him on tumblr, but Eamon (another OC) with Yué from @as-above-rp . The hippie dad duo. He's a nurse with scared bunny energy.

Currently Rach and @nomans-land-rp 's Wolfwood have been getting along. They're the ship that bickers like an old married couple and teases the hell out of each other. Affectionately of course.

Gotta give a shout out to the oldest ship I have with Slot A Rach and @valiant-au-save-slot-a 's boys.

The nastiest, most fucked up one is Black Hare/Bo though. Once again, courtesy of @as-above-rp . They're just.... look they're fucked up and horrible in the best way. They ruin my life.

Okay so, thoughts on Half Bad: the Bastard son and the Devil Himself as a book fan.

Mind you, it's been years since I read the books so the details are a little foggy through my goldfish memory. This will contain spoilers.

Overall, enjoyable. It's so different from the source material that it's hard to compare the two properly, because even the characters are different from how they are in the books. I hope they continue into a season 2 because I'd like to see where they take the book two story of Nathan learning to control his powers (please please please, give me the shared trance sequence with Gabriel god yes please)

Nathan:

In the books his mental health is a very important part of the story, he's depressed, he's been abused his whole life, and it affected how he interacted with the world as a whole. In the show he's still the Nathan from the books, but as if he'd grown up happy with no mental health problems.

They really toned down this aspect of the show. Giving him a loving grandmother, and friends, and a life outside of being a blood witch.

It made his relationship with Annalise in the books more dependent on her, because he'd never *had* someone who cared.

BTW Annalise? HATED HER. In the books at least, they really did a 180 on her personality in the show. They made her defend him which I appreciated, because in the books she never once fought for him (at least that I can remember) and he still adored her even when she was actively letting her brother(s) abuse him.

I don't believe her gift was Undoing as well. I think is was akin to mind control of some kind? (As I said, foggy on details. But I noticed they changed A LOT of people's powers for the sake of excitement)

She also didn't join him after his escape in the books. That was all Nathan and Gabriel for the longest time, and she only reappeared when her family wanted her to go manipulate him.

Gabriel:

A difficult one. His personality is so different from the books he's basically a different character all together. I still like him, but I miss my soft spoken boy who was more than willing to sit with Nathan's volatile moods.

I do like how Annalise and Gabriel start out hating each other (they hate each other in the books, Gabriel with good reason to) but the fact that they become friends, united in their love for Nathan is really nice.

Also I don't know how they managed to make a show that feels like I'm being queer baited SO HARD with their relationship, seeing as Nathan distinctly chooses Gabriel in the books, but hats off netflix you've done it.

SPOILER

As much as I like an Ot3, I'm not sure how I feel about the Nathan/Annalise/Gabriel thrupple deal they've got working. It feels like they're going to ignore Annalise's emotional manipulation and betrayal of Nathan because they afraid to make the main character "fully gay" (I know he's bi, but he does fall out of love with Annalise and in love with Gabriel and I'm sentimental about that because it was the first queer MAIN character I had ever seen.)

BIG POTENTIAL SPOILER

I have hope for the show NOT killing Gabriel because in the finale *they did his death sequence*. In the book he gets shot while trying to escape hunters with Nathan, and it's slightly Nathan's fault (due to gifts that I don't remember exactly) and Nathan becomes so depressed by his death that nothing matters to him, even after they win the war, that he becomes a hermit in the wild and eventually, using the transformation powers he inherets from his father, turns into a tree, which is irreversible.

He can't lice without his lover and it's the saddest thing.

SLEEPING OUTSIDE:

Okay, so slightly disappointed they changed this bit, but in the books blood witches are categorized by their fear of being trapped indoors at night time. So they sleep outside in the open air.

I understand they changed this because it would have been more difficult to film and it's unimportant. But CELIA DIDNT JUST PUT HIM OUTSIDE IN A CAGE TO BE NEEDLESSLY CRUEL. Yes. The cage is cruel, they glossed over many details of his actual time in her care because it was honestly awful, but being outside was for his own safety because blood witches trapped indoors at night loose their minds.

I also kind of wish they spent less time focusing on his sister and built up the relationship between Celia and Nathan. Because they had a special, weird bond in the books.

I did enjoy the show as a whole, and if they make more, I will watch more. But yeah, I have a lot of thoughts because I really loved these books when I read them.

I'm gonna be real, I think the whole main cast, and all of the women characters, are hot af. Now when it comes to any one-off character who is a white man, I really don't give a shit for them. Especially if they're blonde and blue eyed (not you Andy, you are one of the few exceptions). Thats just Wonder Bread, besties — A slice in a loaf that needs condiments to make tasty!

💜: Which character is way hotter than everyone else seems to think?

Kai Opaka, she is so hot I just needed her to be there longer and be best friends with Sisko and be petty to Kai Winn. And any old man Cardassian like Tekeny Ghemor and Kotan Pa'Dar (you see, Im a sucker for nice sad dads).

💕: What is an unpopular ship that you like?

Garak/Kelas I believe is not liked often, and honestly I love Bashir being in there too, because thats such a power thrupple and Garak would just die happy.

Mila/Tain, it'd be really fucked up in a way that they're using one another but also in love that can't be ever said or indulged in healthily (at least for long if ever). Mila didn't live to be beside Tain without being his equal if not more manipulative than he is, and looking hot af while doing it.

I put two because I've found a few other Garak/Kelas/Bashir shippers come to be and feel like I haven't seen a lot of hate as of late (I think people just really don't like what Kelas has become and question how in Beta-Cannon it can be with so little said on the fact that Garak was Kelas' downfall).
